Great location. Next to the supermarket and 15-20 minutes walk to the beach and bars and restaurants in town. The hostel had nice facilities. Beds are comfortable with curtains for some privacy. Very spacious common areas. With a hot tub.The kitchen had all the essential pots and pans to cook and alocated boxes for your dry food.

When they've message with all the instructions, they forgot to mention the 20€ in cash for the key deposit. Would've been nice to know this in advance to have some spare money for this purpose. The female toilets smelled bad because of the lack of ventilation, I believe. The kitchen times are not ideal. If you have to leave early you can't cook breakfast until 8.30 am and if you come back after watching the sunset the stoves turn off at 21.00, even though microwave and toaster are available at all times. Getting chased inside my room and being told my stuff would get binned because I didn't labelled my food on the fridge was a bit too much, considering all they had was pieces of paper. And it was hard to put labels on absolutely everything. I couldn't put everything in bags because it gets slimmy. If food looks fresh and it's put inside, bowl, there's no need to throw it away. You can always put a sign to let guests know when you are cleaning the fridges or find a more efficient way to label food so we can all win. I picked the hostel because, based on the reviews, it was definitely not a party hostel, but it ended up being way too strict with everything. I felt like visiting someone's house and being afraid of doing anything that would annoy their rules/routine. Maybe for short stays would work better, but for long stays, like I did for a week, you pick on a lot of things.

Simply put, it's the best hostel I've been in my life (and I have visited many!) The location, the coziness, the beds, the kitchen, everything is perfectly curated The garden is magnificent, with all the amenities, from little lights, to blankets, to comfy sofa The dorms are so well designed, with curtains, plugs and nightlights for all the beds

the place is very homely, comfy and clean. you can tell Blacksheep is made with lots of love. it offers everything you need for an amazing stay in Sagres, whether you come to surf or just to relax. the owners are very kind and helpful people, who do their best to make your stay as nice as possible. for solo travelers it‘s a good place to make friends, since it‘s a pretty social guesthouse!;)

Cozy and warm atmosphere

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! It’s more like a cool vibey surf house than a hostel. Beds were exceptionally comfy and very private with the curtains! Rooms we a good size with shelves, drawers, hangers, everything you need but don’t usually get in a hostel room! The hosts Sonja & Julio are awesome, a super sweet, friendly & informative surfer couple who go out of their way to make your stay sweet and easy :). All facilities are fantastic, modern & clean. Separate female showers & toilets that you never had to wait for Outdoor area is really nice to hang out in Location is great, just a 7 min walk to the town centre. Very quiet area, it’s a pleasure to sleep there.

The only thing I’d suggest is if they had a water dispenser, as the tap water tastes super bad and I hate buying plastic water bottles all the time. Apart from that everything is perfect :)

The comfortable beds with curtains, the clean place, the many places to sit and chill, the kitchen. Really loved this hostel!

Nothing really!

I loved my stay in blacksheep. it’s a great place to chill, socialize and even work (it has a small shed and various areas that u can use to have some silence and focus). The layout of the space and plenty of common areas invite guests to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great guesthouse to enjoy Sagres ! I will probably come back if possible.

Lovely place with large communal areas… outdoors, indoors, private or a hot tub. Was in the privat room which was very comfy and nicely decorated with a large bathroom. Had a very please stay.
