Perfect location of the facility - on the main road between the cliff and the ocean . The studio is located in the attic of a former building that was once used as a warehouse for goods. Currently there is a great bar on the ground floor that is worth taking advantage of. The apartment had an electric heater which was very important during our stay. The stay was comfortable and the view of the ocean from the window was amazing. Very good price to quality ratio as for Madeira.

The entire attic has only one window in the bedroom. If someone is going to spend whole days there, it can be a bit problematic. As there are bars below it can be noisy at night. Acoustically sensitive people may have some problems with sleeping as the roar of the waves reflected off the cliff is clearly heard in the room.

Beautiful views!

The location was outstanding with the ocean right outside the window and next door were plenty of bakeries for breakfast, restaurants for lunch and dinner, bars for relaxing and a supermarket too for everything else. It was also easy to get everywhere in north and western Madeira from Sao Vicente. The apartment was spacious, pleasant, and had all the essentials.

It would have been great to have some towel hooks or even a drying rack to hang up towels and swimsuits. Also a coffee maker would be appreciated, even though excellent coffee was available next door at the bakery for 0.75 euro. The lock situation of two locked doors to get to our apartment, while secure, was somewhat difficult at times as neither door had a regular latch and the entry was a sauna on hot afternoons. The wardrobes in the bedroom were falling apart and looked kind of messy, so it would have been better if they weren't there at all in terms of aesthetics. Also the futon/couch could use a few more pillows to make it more comfortable. There are actually three flats at this property, which wasn't clear by the description, nor photos. There is zero insulation in the attic flat where we stayed, so if you need it quiet to sleep, this might not be the right place - some street noise can be heard, and the ocean was always crashing. Last thing, the "wine cellar" below the apartment is really a tourist destination only, so don't expect to hang out there.

Very nice location, good communication with owners, spacious apartement.

It’s next to a beach which is really nice but it is a stoney beach so it can get really noisy when the waves are bigger (or when there is a party at the bar bellow). No big deal but good to také into consideraation (if you have the attic apartement as we did).

The best thing about this place is the view of the ocean which is on the other side of the road. Another great attitude is the bar beneath the apartment. They serve the best poncha in whole Madeira. I really recommend.

The owner/manager? was very responsive to our requests although we never met her. Sao Vicente by the sea is full of restaurants and a very well equipped supermarket.

Our apartment was very disappointing in that it only had one window in the bedroom so the main area was very dim. It should be described as an A-frame loft. There was no heating at all and it was cold. There was no outside sitting area and we do not think it fitted the description on Booking.com, i.e. two views and outside sitting area. The noise of the sea reverberated throughout the loft and it was similar to a train coming into a metro station every 4 seconds as the Atlantic rolled in across the road. We think this loft needed a skylight window and some sound proofing against the sea noise. We love the sea but not that loud! The hand basin had no plug. Paula didn't understand our request and kindly left us a plug extension! There was no frying pan either but on request she left us 2 new ones. Thank you Paula.
