My wife wanted to be on the beach and this property is exactly that! The pictures of the deck are entirely accurate. I would guess most people spend their day there; I know we did. The condo is dated in a way that made me think it was/ is truly a family retreat, well loved and well worn. The furnishings are fine but not luxurious. There are quirks like outlets that don’t work and having to light the stove with a match. So what? There isn’t a better spot to watch the waves and everything else is in secondary to that. The host was very responsive wherever I messaged her. That helped with things that weren’t obvious. Overall you can’t find beachfront access like this at this price. We’d happily come back another time if we’re in the area. If you can do old school and think of it as your favorite aunt’s place at the ocean, then this is for you.

Great property at a great location

Awesome location, clean and easy communication with management. My husband and I stayed here with our 19 month old and we had such a fun time. We didn’t even have to worry about bringing a blackout curtain as the middle room that is adjoining to the bathroom has no windows. Using the bathroom at night was super easy and our toddler didn’t wake at all. They provided everything we needed: a pack and play, beach toys, towels, chairs and even umbrellas. The beds were super comfortable. The deck was great and looks right over the beach. It was nice to let my toddler go out on the deck and play and I didn’t have to worry. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit.

We are locals who needed sea air, beautiful water and sunset views, and patio that made us feel like the outdoors. Check, check, check! Also, easy walking distance from restaurants and small funky shops. We were dropped off and picked up and ubered two friends in for dinner at sunset. Easy! Having lived on this boardwalk and stayed every summer for 18 years, this was a welcome return. Would definitely come back.

It was great to be next to the beach and hear the ocean as you're going to sleep. Lots of places to eat within a short walk

Everything was as described. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Walking distance to everything you need. The deck is perfect for relaxing.

Absolutely fantastic space, we rented upstairs and Downstairs, and couldn’t be happier. Second year in a row, and we plan on coming back. Great views, excellent location walking distance too so many things. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed for 5 nights to escape the brutal heat of Las Vegas and enjoy the ocean. This was the perfect place! It was spotless clean, super stocked and had the biggest deck with the best unobstructed view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching dolphins and seals playing in the waves each day. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed this very perfect condo with a picture perfect view on the beach. The location is top notch as we were able to walk down towards a Mission Beach and enjoy the boardwalk and also walk towards Pacific Beach and enjoy all the little shops and restaurants there are. Very clean nice area. We were very lucky to not have any loud neighbors or partying going on. I was amazed at how well stocked the condo is fans, blankets, beach toys, boogie boards, lawn chairs, kitchen stuff. The beds were very comfortable with nice quality bedding. The outside deck was perfect for a family barbecue. We enjoyed watching the dolphins and sea lions out on the water every night and the sunsets were to die for I especially liked that communication was quick and easy with the manager. We want to stay here again on our next trip!

Our family had an amazing time at this property. Just what we were looking for and exactly as promised. Communication was fast and easy with the owner. Tons of towels and beach supplies available. Beds were comfy and property was super clean! Looking forward to staying here again!!!

Immaculately clean. Deck is AMAZING!!! Couch is very comfortable and two very tall adults can easily sleep on it if needed. Best couch of any VRBO I've stayed at - plenty of room for everyone. Comfortable beds. Tons of extra bedding, towels, etc. We parked on Pacific Beach Blvd, and didn't need our vehicle at all - everything we needed was in walking distance - grocery, restaurants, etc. Breakfast at Lahaina Beach House is a must! Look forward to returning in the future.

We really loved this property. We have a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old so vacations can be interesting. This place had what we needed to make a trip with littles successful. What I loved: VIEW! You wake up and all the tasks you have to do for the kids, feeding them, cleaning up after them etc is all done with a view of the ocean and sound of the waves so that makes for a different experience. Layout has its pros and cons. I loved that I could close off the kitchen so my toddler couldn’t run around. We baby proofed all the cabinets. Note- the lower cabinets have glass so DEF bring cabinet locks if you have a baby or young kid. The deck is just perfect for kids. I felt very secure letting them walk around. I love that. Cons are that the bathroom is inside one of the bedrooms so we would sometimes accidentally wake my sleeping 4 yo bc we had to use the bathroom. Pro- lots of pillows and linens and towels. Very helpful with kids. Pro- washer dryer! Necessary to have with little kids. Con- no ac which is mostly fine when it’s cool outside but if you need blackout and white noise for your kids to sleep then this might be hard. Pro- huge comfy sofa and very comfy beds. The place was clean, very comfortable, and Becky the property manager was very responsive and helpful. I’d certainly stay here again.

Place was beautiful, huge deck close to everything owners responded back quickly when internet went down, Without a doubt I would rent it again .

Will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect and the deck is amazing. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to host friends that live in the area. It was perfect. I would recommend paying for the garage parking spot if it's available. Parking could be a bit tricky, especially on a busy beach day.

Best place in the area! You will find you have no reason to eat out because there is no better view than the one you have from this deck. Immaculately clean! 12 out of 10. Don’t hesitate!

We loved this place. Beautiful, simple, and right on the water. The big deck was wonderful with kids because we were right on the water but felt safe being on second floor. The host was wonderful to work with - would absolutely stay again.

The home was beautiful fresh clean and so cute. Well supplied. Lots of pillows to choose from and very comfortable beds. The view was perfect. The sound of the ocean is all you could hear. We were next to the walking path but never heard any people only ocean. We loved the sea and sunsets and fellowship with my two sisters by the sea. Paradise!!!!

Location is perfect! Place is roomier than we expected! Our family had more than enough space. Views are spectacular! Can’t wait to return!

What a great get away! The views can't be beat. From the moment we got there until we reluctantly left I kept finding myself stopping to listen to the sound of the waves or to gaze out at the water. Perfect location... on the beach, close to everything you could want, and sunsets included!

We loved our stay! Great location that’s both an easy walk to Pacific Beach restaurants and Mission Beach too. The house is well stocked with boards and beach games for our teenagers. And we could easily keep an eye on them on the beach from our amazing deck right on the Strand. The room set up worked well for us especially when we blew up the air mattress. Parking is a bit challenging so we’re glad we paid a bit extra for the garage. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

My family loved this property and had a great stay. The patio view is amazing, as is the easy access to the beach. We went to Sea World one day and had a beach day the second day. We used the beach chairs, toys, and towels provided which was super convenient. We walked about 10 minutes to Seaside Pizza one night and the whole family loved it. We also tried Biggie’s for burgers and shakes and everything was delicious. Communication with the property manager was quick and convenient. The only con was parking since the onsite parking was already booked, but we knew that when we booked the property. My husband had to park about a 10+ min walk away each time, but it worked out. We would stay here again.

We stayed with our 3 1/2 y/o granddaughter. Being right at the beach was great. She could play for short periods of time then come back in. Perfect since the weather was a little cold during our stay. The view of the ocean was really nice to have. The property was clean and met our needs perfectly.

Beautiful view, nice large deck, beds were comfortable. No propane for the grill, no fire extinguisher, when it rained there was leaking from the windowsill, and the ceiling light fixture in the main bedroom. Called the host but no response. Outdated. But we had fun.

This property is fantastic and the location is great. The deck is a highlight for sure. Location to PB restaurants is easy for a night stroll down the beach or boardwalk. If we return to the area, this property will be at the top of our list to see if available. Host was very responsive to questions.

My family and I loved the location and easy access to the beach. We stayed for 3 nights, beds were very comfortable- wish we had time to stay longer. Hosts were great and helped us with a couple hiccups we had. Would stay here again.
