Sheens House

Location was great. Felt safe and glad to be very short walk to several eateries, including a totally gluten-free bakery, Sugar Daddy's. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom/shower were super clean... our most important needs were well met.

Nothing that the hosts could do anything about. Parking was a bit of a challenge, and there was some noise during the night from the street.

It was a great location. Te host had warned us about the stairs so we packed a smaller bag for the two nights we were there to make it easier to get up to our rooms.

The little kitchenette was very small but we made do for the two nights we were there

Loved the cosy atmosphere & space to spread out.

The property had everything we needed and met our expectations.

The location was good

We were not entirely satisfied with certain aspects of our stay. As a family of six who showers daily after long days, receiving fresh towels only every three days was inconvenient, especially since there was no washing machine or dryer available for use. Additionally, it was not mentioned in the booking details that we would need to carry all our luggage up a narrow staircase to reach the second floor. Furthermore, the property being a shared home with rooms rented to others, along with only one shared toilet, did not provide the level of privacy we were expecting. Another major issue was that the rooms had no air conditioning, and during the hot weather, we were sweating and unable to sleep comfortably. When we raised this concern with the landlord, the response we received was unexpectedly unpleasant, which added to our disappointment.
