The entry locks were very difficult and frustrating and there is not enough there is not enough trash cans for a home this size. The trash was overloaded and stinking when we arrived. The kitchen did not have enough utenzils/pans/bowls. The remotes need posted instructions for each of the televisions. These are all owner issues and the rental company was great to respond to our needs. With a little TLC, the house would be a "5". The house is very conveniently located to downtown - within walking distance and there is a nice beach access very close when the tide is out. The main beach is only about 5 minutes driving time.

While the house needed updated furniture and attention to detail such as more towels, better dishes, better lighting in bedrooms,etc., it was a good house and would rent again.

We really enjoy the village so being able to walk and bike there was a definite plus. The house is one block to beach access but the "beach" is only accessible during low tide and it's not really a swim location but is good for exploring and finding hermit crabs. It's only a short drive to East Beach though if you want to hang out at the beach. The house is on the golf course but the shrubs are overgrown and largely blocking the view. We could hear the bagpipes in the morning and evening from the golf course and that was cool. We also enjoyed watching the small planes flying to the airport. The house is spacious but there are only four actual bedrooms. There is at least one pull out couch and other couches that could be used for sleeping but it would be tight for families with teens/adults. The house is older and has been updated but the age is definitely showing. The sink in one bathroom didn't work at all. There is mold growing on the ceiling in that same bathroom. The pool is in need of repairs but is useable. The metal furniture outside needs to be replaced.

The living area only has seating for 5 people. There are two additional chairs in there but they are broken down and worn in. Really uncomfortable! The outside is awful! Is littererly broken and coming apart everywhere with broken down cushions. The furniture in the front is metal and rusted and nasty!

We stayed over Labor Day weekend 2021. Couldn’t be happier with response from property manager and AC technician. House was very clean and spacious. Being able to have a dedicated bathroom for each of the bedrooms is great when housing a couple families with a couple teenagers. Location is perfect given it is located in an older established neighborhood with many large live oak trees, is quiet and yet close to downtown. TV worked flawlessly, plenty of hot water, and the pool is great. There are some items, however, with which I was disappointed. The great room and patio furniture are in need of replacement. The BBQ grill needs attention as the cooking grate is crusted and covered with old, used tinfoil – which caused us not to use the grill. That led us to sear chicken on the stove, which led to the smoke alarm sounding. By the time we received instructions on how to turn off the system it was too late to stop the fire department from arriving. (BTW, after-hours emergency contact is very responsive.) Front and rear doors are difficult to close/open. There are just enough eating utensils for our guests which meant we could not have a set to eat with and a set in the dishwasher at the same time. One fork has two tines overlapping one another which caused a cut lip – don’t use that one. Kitchen needs measuring cup and measuring spoons. Hairdryer for the wife would be a nice touch. Spent the first night focused on AC repair – which could have just been bad luck timing for me but a disappointment nonetheless. Trash is to be removed at end of visit; however, I could not do that because the outside trash can was full and appeared to have not been emptied for quite some time. Bottom line; there are few, relatively minor things to be done in order to have a premier rental. I would consider returning.

This spacious house is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood close to the ocean and adjacent to the Sea Island golf course. It's a short drive to East Beach. There's a comfortable pool area where we spent most of our evenings. The kitchen has been remodeled and is great. Loved the side pantry with storage, extra fridge, utility sink and washer/dryer. It would be a great place if it weren't so worn down. While the inside had been freshly painted, the furniture was very worn and uncomfortable. Rusted wrought iron furniture on the front porch. Linen threadbare and some stained. The owner needs to make some upgrades. However, worst of all were the ROACHES! One climbed up my leg while I was watching TV!!! After the rest of the noisy people left, the bugs came out and we left early.

10 old college friends went and stayed for the weekend to attend a wedding in Jekyll island, this house was very comfortable for us all. We walked to downtown St. Simons for dinner and lunch. Pool was fun. I would recommend. Wish they had more outdoor seating together.

The first one we were very excited when we saw the chefs kitchen, however the kitchen needs to be stocked with utensils they were very limited.For a house to accomodate 10 people the utensils were very limited.Ex. not enough silverware and very outdated frying pans. They did not offer enough towels and wash cloths to accomodate 10 of us.We had a issue with the refrigerator not cooling but was fixed after we had been there for 5 days. The bed in the master bedroom needs to replaced.The cleaning needs to be looked at by a manager. The furniture needs to be moved and swept under. Other than that this home was great we wanted to rent it again for Spring Break for 2022 only to call and find out they were increasing the rate an extra $1700.00, had that not been the case it would have been booked.

When you don't have TBS, ESPN, etc., in the cable package you are left to scramble around and try to Roku or stream games. Come on people, pop for at least a cable package with more than local channels...you don't wear bowling shoes with a tuxedo.
