Great property with everything you need and more. Comfy beds, clean. Hosts gave a lot of helpful information before check in and after.

It was a little chilly the first evening.

The cottage was lovely, very welcoming and clean. Plenty of space for the 6 of us that stayed! A couple of miles from the city centre and a 5-minute walk from Asda. There's a harvester pub across the road as well. We would definitely book to stay again!

There wasn't anything we were unhappy with. Adam was very helpful at all times.

Very comfortable beds, especially in the very cute attic room. The excellent, fancy coffee machine was very appreciated by those in our group who drink coffee too! Decor was also very much my kind of vibes with the nature-themed designs.

There was a very small amount of bowls deep enough to hold cereal for a 4-bedroom property.

Everything ! Exceptionally clean, fantastic facilities, comfortable beds, spacious, an absolute gem of a place. Nothing was left to chance that we might need. Towels, bedding, cleaning materials, tea, coffee and more were there if required. Our host was so helpful and was unobtrusive but we knew if we needed her she’d be available. I just can’t rate this lovely house highly enough. We had an absolutely wonderful break as a family with our two doggies.

Hosts were super accommodating! We requested a picnic hamper, stroller, and pack and play, and they were cheerfully provided and excellent quality. House was very well appointed! We had everything we could possibly want for a comfortable stay.

Garden was overgrown and couches were a bit worn.

The property was amazing. All the beds were really comfortable, the decor was lovely and when we arrived there was everything you needed including the basics and a lovely welcome gift. I don’t think the photos do the property justice, there is a lovely lawned garden at the back of the house which we hadn’t realised. it was perfect for our needs and we wouldn’t hesitate in staying again.

Loved the open plan kitchen living space, it was great for us as we were spending the time as a family. It was one of a very few stays in Aberdeen that allowed dogs which was the main reason we booked - thank you!

Not necessarily a dislike however with the dogs they needed to be on a lead in the garden as there was a small area of fencing broken big enough for them to get out and it was close to a busy road.

Property was nice, clean and comfortable for our stay. lovely that things like tea and coffee were available. A nice, quiet and central location.

A stair gate and high chair would have been handy.

This house is in the best location for seeing the area that we have ever stayed at. Conveniently located close to bus routes into the city or to Stonehaven for a fish supper. Superb walking along the River Dee and the lovely cafe in Duthie Park. Easy, on street parking and good communication with lots of info from the owners. Quiet and comfortable, The back garden would be absolutely fabulous to spend some time in during the warmer weather.

The kitchen knives could use a good sharpening.

Communicating with the hosts was a breeze. The house is lovely and very well looked after. Stay was more than enjoyable!

Was a bit cold initially. However when we contacted the owner he told us how to resolve the issue. Would have been helpful to have some written guides for operating heating.

Great location, great amenities, lovely decor and spotlessly clean. Welcome gift of flowers and wine were such a nice touch to the stay.

It could of done with another shower with the amount of people we had stay, but we made it work and it didn’t spoil or stay in anyway.

Great location for getting about. Plenty of space. Very well stocked cupboards with everything you can think of for cooking. Good coffee machine and good coffee. Really powerful shower. Washing machine and tumble drier.

The sofas are lovely and deep however the seat of both sofas could do with being renewed as there was no cushion which made it rather hard to sit on. TV in the living room could do with more than freeview to enable you to watch Netflix etc. The double room on the middle floor you can feel the springs in the mattress. Could do with being renewed.

Having stayed at lots of different properties I’ve rated this as a 6. It’s not horrendous but feel the owners ( who we never met ) need to put some work in on some improvements. It was clean, not spotless but clean none the less. The property also allows dogs, although be aware if you’re bringing a dog the garden is not secure and they can escape😊

First impressions count and on arrival ( you park in the road then go down some steps where there are two houses) there is a very overgrown and un welcoming privot hedge greeting you along with a rusty, old and dirty wrought iron gate! The garden has a lot of weeds and looks generally unloved also. The front window was also dirty( as were the rest of the windows, doesn’t look like a window cleaner had been used for some time ) On entering the property there is a bedroom to the left ( wardrobe in the hallway ) and the first thing you notice is the white bed linen looking a bit grey but also very crumpled as it hadn’t been ironed! This was the same for the upstairs rooms too. The bathroom upstairs has a sloping roof to one side and the toilet has been situated at the sloping end behind a panel so it effectively looks like it’s in a cubby hole, watch your head when trying to navigate that! Also the towels are really really thin, almost like large tea towels! The property is situated fairly close to an extremely busy main road so it’s fairly noisy. I received a message from the owners on arrival day to say they had just noticed the dishwasher wasn’t working but someone would be there after 10 on the Saturday to look at this to fix it and they were trying to organise a relacement ASAP. We were out all day but I never heard anything else regarding that issue so don’t know if this was fixed. There is a very eclectic mix of furnishings, some modern some very old fashioned and look out of place( my humble opinion) Another gripe was the curtains in the sitting area that overlooked the sloped lawn aren’t wide enough for the window and therefore you can’t close them, very frustrating when it’s dark. A little bit of TLC required 😊

Had a lovely stay in Heather Cottage with family for 5 nights. Great location for walk into town centre. Home very comfortable location fab & really couldn’t fault it. Hosts tho of everything and more & any questions answered promptly.

Absolutely nothing.

Despite being conveniently close to town, it felt like a sheltered haven. The house is eclectic which I loved. We felt thorough comfortable. It was a lovely home from home. The shower was also a winner.

We couldn’t find it to begin with. One of our dogs also escaped into next door’s garden through the slat, but that’s because she’s a pup (and a naughty one). One to note maybe due to the house being pet friendly.

The house was just amazing loved the decor very shabby chic. Was situated in a great location just 5mins from the centre of Aberdeen. There was lots of little extras, wine, biscuits, toiletries and an amazing coffee machine. We felt very much at home.

Nothing was fabulous.
