My husband and I met friends who were staying at Old Edward’s. We could not have picked a better place. We got to bring our 12 year old dog which was so sweet. We walked in to a stocked frig, we loved having breakfast there and meeting up with our friends for lunch and dinner. We could literally see our friends walk by from our balcony. The only negative was having to leave. We will most definitely be back! Thanks for being a great host David!

Park the car & walk -shop, mountain theater, restaurants . Directly across street from ‘Old Edward’s ‘Madison restaurant’.
- there is a pub/restaurant, on the bottom, but we found it very quiet and not noticeable.
At the back entrance some wonderful aromas from the kitchen! Comfortable bed, which is very important. No hang up space in the Master bedroom, shelves only.
I would definitely recommend and will return on our next visit to the Highlands if available🤓

We were delighted with our 3 night stay at The Nest. Everything was perfect! The only downside of The Nest is it has created a standard of excellence that we will now always compare other short term rentals to. I can’t imagine that any other property will match the hospitality and care that David provides his guests.

The girls and I had a fabulous stay at the nest! We felt like we entered a Hallmark movie. The flat was absolutely adorable and decorated to a T. It’s an excellent location in the Highlands. You can easily walk to shops and restaurants. We loved the balcony and having the doors open and seeing the town. David makes it special by having treats and drinks for us as we arrive. Would definitely stay again!

This is an excellent location, nicely decorated with a cute Juliet balcony. Wonderful welcome package and host/ manager very easy to deal with, accommodating and quick with responses. Will definitely stay again!

We loved it here. Perfect location for exploring the downtown area. The balcony was so fun to keep open in the afternoons. David had the place stocked with amazing snacks and wines. We will be back!

Can't beat the location and all the snacks and drinks were a wonderful surprise! It's great to have a parking spot to count on, too. We barely noticed music from what is currently Highlands Tavern below, and their staff were delightful neighbors where we enter The Nest. We will check availability here first every trip back to Highlands!

This was our second Labor Day trip to The Highlands to stay at The Nest! It is one of our absolute favorite VRBOs that we have ever rented and we hope to return for years to come! The house is clean, well appointed, and so convenient to everything in the downtown area. We appreciate the great communication from the host and the well stocked fridge and pantry are always a plus. Thanks again for another wonderful stay!

For the 2nd year in a row we spent 2 1/2 weeks at the Nest in Highlands. The place is fantastic and has everything you could need to have a very enjoyable stay. David, the owner, has the place stocked and set up fabulously. Best location in Highlands by far. Easy walk to all great restaurants, grocery store , wine shop etc.

Perfect location! So easy to walk to shops, restaurants, hiking trails, everything. The host has wine, cheese, snacks, cold drinks, and more! We felt spoiled and enjoyed our long weekend. The restaurant below is also delicious!

There isn’t a more convenient place in highlands. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. David has it stocked very well and the arrival items are great. Parking is very tight and the entrance is down an alley but we would definitely stay again.

Very clean and great location! Above Highlands Tavern who has great food and very accommodating! We rented this place out so we could keep Highlands Tavern open until 2am for our wedding after party and they were great! 5 stars all around here!

Parking a big truck was a bit of an issue in the assigned space although the people at Highlands Tavern next door were very helpful. The townhome was fully stocked, clean and VERY WELCOMING! The Nest was very nice. The roses, food, beer and wine, all very thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable. You can’t beat the location. David was very responsive to any questions we had. Fall colors there are unbelievable.

The owner (David) goes out of way to be responsive to calls or questions. He makes this condo a luxury unit: furnishings, snacks/treats/be vs…that you won’t find anywhere else!! Premier location in the center of town….truly a luxurious mountain getaway!!

This was a perfect location! We had a wedding at Old Edward’s Farm. We caught the shuttle right across the street. We had amazing shopping and restaurants right outside our door. We also went to some amazing hiking spots within miles! The condo was perfect! Fully stocked with treats, drinks and breakfast. We got to town in the middle of the night, but it was so inviting with lights and music. David was so kind and helpful! I’m very picky, and I would highly recommend staying here!

This condo is so much more than we expected! We have stayed at vacation rentals all over North America and Europe. The Nest stands out as our best so far. Location is perfect for walking to shopping and restaurants. Nicely decorated and clean. Every amenity you could need. And the cherry on top was the wonderful snacks. We did not have to run out to the store as soon as we arrived. We are already talking about returning. Thank David! We appreciated your attention to detail.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at The Nest and it never disappoints! The host is always wonderful and accommodating and you truly cannot beat the location!
The only thing I have to say is to be mindful of the size of the cars you're bringing. Parking is extremely tight and we barely squeezed two small SUVs in the spot, but other than that it's always amazing and we HIGHLY recommend!
