a nice old building with local history and character the apartment was quiet and tastefully decorated good location with easy walk to the town centre and to the river

It was very comfortable , cosy and clean . It had everything required for a short break . It’s location is ideal for walking in to Hay on Wye for the many bookshops.

i found the door hard to lock so I had to leave the flat open the little sink in the bathroom was a bit awkward - minor detail. the towels could probably have used a longer hotter wash - minor detail I hadnt used a lock box before and found it hard and needed help the smoke alarm went off, alarmingly, but the hosts dealt with it quickly and efficiently

This is a great little property, conveniently located a short walk from the centre of Hay on Wye. We personally could have done with a little more space, but that is our preference, not a reflection on the property itself. The property was furnished and finished to a really high standard, and was lovely and cool during our recent heat wave! Thank you for the milk and Welsh cakes in the fridge on our arrival! Thank you so much

We struggled with the memory foam mattress. It was really warm whilst we were in Hay and the mattress held the heat in a lot!

Once we actually found the house, everything was fine.Very peaceful location. very good supply of hot water. actually found the house ,everything was fine.

getting out from parking place one was a little tight at times with all the other cars.

Everything was great. Lovely flat, good facilities, and such a beautiful location. The flat matched the photos. The host left very helpful instructions both in her email and in the handbook. She also kindly left us milk and Welsh cakes. Very much appreciated. Highly recommended accommodation.

Ironing board was a bit small/short, but everything else was perfect.

The photographs on the website didn't really do the place justice. The flat is bright and airy, and spotlessly clean. It contained everything you could possibly need and it was located in a pleasant and quiet location just a very short walk from Hay-on-Wye's centre. I fully intend to return for another break.

There was absolutely nothing I didn't like. The place is perfect and exceeded my expectations.

Great location. Very nicely fitted out and decorated. Comfortable bed and nice fluffy towels. It was good that basics like teabags, salt, oil etc were provided. Thanks for the Welsh cakes!

Saucepans were a bit grotty, the non stick is wearing off. Everything else was great.

The peace and quiet Exceptionally clean with fully equipped kitchen. Parking directly outside accommodation. Within in walking distance of town.

The locations was perfect for book shopping in Hay and Brecon. The area is lovely and the walk along the river was refreshing after dinner each night. The kitchen was well equiped, the bed comforable and I appreciated the Welsh Cakes and fresh milk. But I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and will return.

The apartment was a bit tricky to initally find and I met the cleaner who explained what the 'communal hall' was. I was looking for a community hall--not a shared entrance to the building. It would be nice to have a welcome dog policy. I managed to get onto the WFi, but the code in the information pack did not work. I would have also appreciated a desk in the living area for my laptop.

Lovely flat about 5 mins walk from hay. We were glad of the Welsh cakes and tea/coffee/milk when we arrived. We will stay there again.

The flat is perfectly located in Hay, just a stone throw from the river walk and the main street. It’s one of the most silent place I’ve been to, nights without a sound. Extremely relaxing for a break. Neighbours met by chance were very lovely. Not a bad word to say about this place!

Wonderful room, fantastic facilities, close to town but peaceful and quiet. Having the kitchen was fantastic and saved loads of money by not having to eat out. I recommend very highly. I would move my holiday dates to make sure I could stay here again in the future.
