Thank you Pero for renting us your beautiful stone cottage in Cavtat- it doesn't get any better than this! The location is perfect, a few flights of away up a quiet cobbled walk from the beautiful bay, and restaurants. The stunning views from the house are unrivalled. Pero could not be more accommodating- amazing property!! We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment which is in a brilliant location, very clean and renovated to a high standard. Pero is a great host, he picked us up from the airport and carried one of our (very heavy!!) suitcases up the steep stairs to the apartment and he responded really quickly to any questions we had. The views were amazing and the central location was a real bonus (although probably not ideal with anyone with mobility issues as the stairs were quite challenging.) We would thoroughly recommend this apartment for anyone considering a stay in Cavtat.

First visit to Croatia and boy did we choose well. The house was lovely in the most beautiful position. Pero is a lovely guy and came to pick us up from the airport. The house has been renovated to a high standard. Views from the property are glorious. We hope to visit again.

We are so grateful we were able to rent this beautiful space for friends for the wedding of our daughter. The minister marrying her and his wife stayed here and told us it was spectacular! The host was so helpful and accommodated all our wishes promptly. The location was perfect, with a beautiful view. They told me they’d stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you for taking such good care of our friends! See you again!

The house is excellent with the finish work done at restoration superb in quality. Location is in centre of town close to a great assortment of cafes and restaurants. There a a couple of great walking trails close by. Only downside is 62 steps from street to front door. The owner is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet He picked us up at the airport and even carried our bags up to the house as we are rather old seniors. He couldn't do enough to help us. Best host ever.

We totally fell in love with the sweet old stone house as soon as we arrived. It was in the perfect spot for us, close to resturants & bars but tucked away enough to offer total peace and quiet. Pero, who was great, met us & took us to the property and showed us around. It's very well equipped with everything we needed and very clean. Hours spent on the terrace watching the water and harbour life with great local food & wine were the perfect R&R for us. Tried lots of the resturants which were all good and service was always friendly & relaxed. Dubrovnik is so easy to get to and what better way to arrive. Spent 2 days there but would happlily visit again. In summary, we would return to Pero's house, Cavtat without hesitation!!!

The accommodations were perfect for my wife and I. It was a great location with all the amenities that anybody could ask for. We would recommend this spot for anybody who is willing to walk up the multitude of stairs to get there.

What can we say other than Wow, what a fantastic place! We could not have asked for more.. The Old Stone House has been superbly renovated by Pero and it was a pleasure to stay there. The views from the terrace were stunning as were the sunsets, many a pleasant hour sat there watching the world go by. Pero was the perfect host/landlord and was always on hand if we needed anything. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and we will definately return just a shame we will have to wait until 2021. Thanks Pero Kelly and Richard

This was our second time in Cavtat and at Pero's Sweet Old Stonehouse and it did exceed all expectations yet again, its just perfect. It is hard to articulate the feelings you have while you are there, but you really do feel like its your home (even if its just for a week or two!). It is the most delightful property in the most delightful place with just the nicest local people helping to make it a very special holiday. Our last visit, 2 years ago was the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we had experienced together, so much so we had to go back, extremely rare for us to do that but we did this year. This time we left with the same feeling at the end of the holiday as we did two years ago and we will be back but only if Pero's property is available at the time, it’s that kind place. Pero is the perfect host, checking during the week to make sure all is OK and if anything more is required to make your holiday better, nothing is too much trouble. His communications from start to finish are excellent, there to greet you on arrival and now after two visits, we think of him more as a friend. Pero’s cottage is absolutely perfect. Firstly the view is 5 star, the cottage has everything you need and more, the location is fabulous and makes for a truly authentic experience. The cottage is 600 years old yet so modern. Pero has done a fabulous renovation. Pero is a fabulous host, he kept in touch and was very prompt answering any questions, We will definitely be back and send our best wishes to Pero

Pero's cottage is a complete delight and perfect for a short or long term stay. First of all, it is immaculate and very well cared for, you can tell that Pero has taken great pride in all the details that make this cottage a great place to stay. It contains everything that you'll need including a well equipped kitchen, ultra comfortable bed and a fantastic terrace with beautiful views of the harbor. Internet was really fast and if you like TV, Netflix is just a click away. Cavtat is a beautiful little town and a welcome escape from the craziness of Dubrovnik. We used it as a base to explore the area and couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot The icing on the cake is the owner Pero...we appreciate everything that he did to make our stay in his beautiful fisherman's cottage perfect for us. He was great to work with and responded quickly to any questions that we had. We've stayed in VRBO's all over the world and Pero has to be one of our favorite hosts!! Thank you Pero! Lesley & Steve.

This is a property over 600yrs old. Pero, the owner, has renovated this property originally owned by his mother, to the highest standard. What is unique is its position. From the balcony you overlook this beautiful bay with crystal clear waters. Just a short walk down the steps and your in the midst of the restaurants bars and yachts that have moored up for the night. Cavtat is a stunning place as is the Sweet oldstone house and we felt so comfortable in both. From the moment Pero met us at the old town entrance, the locals who served us in the bank, mini market, restaurants, fruit and veg stalls, everyone was friendly and helpful. We dont often return to the same place for a holiday as we like to explore and discover new places, this one may break that rule. It has been a truly relaxing and memorable experience for us both. This stunning old stone property is in a fabulous location, 52 steps up from the waterfront where you can watch all the magnificent yachts coming in each day. There are many lovely restaurants, bars and cafes to enjoy within minutes of the property, as well as beautiful walks to do around the two harbours and in the woods and even along peaceful trails, minutes out of the town, where you can get away from it all. The town is bustling but it is quiet up at the house, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. The property has everything you need, with two fabulous seating areas and the stone keeps the building cool, but there is also the addition of air conditioning for months when required. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is powerful and there is always hot water. There is a t.v. for those who want to watch it and a dishwasher and washing machine, so home from home. Eating out is not expensive, so we didn't bother cooking, and we were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary, so treated ourselves. We even went parasailing around at the other bay. We wanted to keep this little hideaway secret, but this would be most unfair to Pero, the very helpful and sincere owner. We would love to return.

From the moment we enquired about The Sweet Old Stone House in Cavtat, till the goodbye at the airport we were spoilt not only by Pero the owner but also by this beautiful 500 year old house. The house has everything you need and Pero provided a warm welcome and was an informative and friendly host. The stone house has been beautifully restored, sympathetic to it surroundings but also full of clean modern facilities. Beautifully located in the centre of Cavtat, right near all the harbour restaurants and attractive bars but still a tranquil hideaway, it couldn't have been nicer. One of our favourite parts of the property was the lovely terrace with table and chairs to have lunch or dinner and also the gravel garden with lounger chairs to relax away the hours with the beautiful sea view & watch the fantastic sunsets that seemed to occur most nights! Inside there was a smart modern kitchen and dining area with all useful crockery etc. The bedroom had the most comfortable bed and a lovely views across the bay, perfectly relaxing. Pero changed the towels frequently along with clean bed linen & offered any advice or help we needed, special thanks to him for arranging the airport transfer too. Really can't recommend this place enough, would really like to keep it a Sweet Secret!!! We will return.
