Our stay at Barba Ana was great! It was a close walk to the beach, the bay, restaurants. The room was super nice, and very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay of 4 nights.They provided beach towels for beach day. I would recommend this hotel/room!! Friendly and very nice room!

Barba Ante is the best accommodation in Vis!! The host is so kind and very helpful! The apartment is new, super clean, spacious and it's location is perfect as well.

Very clean, super location near the ferry landing. Just a few steps off the main waterfront.
Strong air conditioning - needed in August.
We were on the 3rd floor so a bit of stairs to the room.
The owner/manager was on the 3rd floor too. Very nice and friendly gentleman. They offer beach towels if you venture a dip in the Adriatic.
Very reasonable prices, one third of Split.
Ferry times are limited to Vis so plan ahead. The fast catamaran only departs Vis at 7am. Don’t be late as they depart at 7am sharp.
A blanket. Just had a thin sheet, though the weather was warm.

Bed was very comfortable. Host was very good at communicating with us and directed us to our room. The air conditioning worked fantastic and this was probably the nicest bathroom we've had. The water pressure and shower were amazing.
Girlfriend would've liked an extra blanket because the a/c was so good, haha.

The property was modern and clean.It was close to the ferry port ,restaurants etc so it was very conveniemt.
The bed was a little firm .

Close to the lovely beach, ferry terminal and a great walk along the waterside to the rest of the town. Marko was so kind going the extra mile. Everything was no problem. Loved that we could use his beach towels and the bathroom was fabulous. Beds really comfy. Top notch.
As we stayed 5 nights we could have done with some plates/glasses/ utensils. But having said that, I’m sure if we’d have asked marko, he would have said no problem and provided us with everything we asked for!

We enjoyed our stay at Barba Ante's room. Host Marko was very welcoming and friendly. He offered us with additional towels, drying room, anything that we needed. Room 5 was very clean and spacious. AC and WiFi working well.
We highly recommend it!

Great hotel room on the most central location possible (5min walk from the ferry drop-off and 2 min walk to promenade). Super friendly staff and spacious and clean room.

Marko is amazing host, he was was so communicative and welcoming. Our room was incredibly spacious and it seems like it has been recently renovated. Everything was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. The location is really convenient, perfect for exploring Vis. Barba Ante exceeded our expectations and if we're in Vis again we'll be staying here!

The room was extremely clean and everything was well made. It smelt nice and you could tell that the host really put hard work in it. The host was also waiting for me when I got down from the ferry and he showed me the room immediately. He was really friendly and helpfull.
Just two small details: there was no bin bag in the bathroom trashcan. It was pretty hard to put the knob-switch in the shower (which operates the waterflow to the tap or the showerhead) on "shower mode" because it often fell back in "tap mode".
One more last thing: the mattress was a bit hard, but I think that it also a matter of preferance because I like it when my matress is soft, while others don't. I nevertheless slept great.
But these are really just small details that are a easy-fix.

Great location, just 5 min walk from the ferry. The host was very helpful and nice. The room was very clean with modern furniture and the bed was comfy. There were also toiletry offered.

The room was modern, clean and spacy. The place is only a couple of minutes from the ferry port, and close to everything you need. And finally Marco is such a nice host. We were able to check-in early, he gave us great recommendations for activities on Vis and would gladly let us keep our bags in his kitchen after check-out.

A beautiful, modern apartment which is really comfortable and clean. The location is fantastic just a short walk from the beach, port and restaurants. The shower is really good and the bathroom is really modern. The TV has Netflix on which is a lovely extra. The host is really friendly and helpful and did our laundry for us which smelt amazing. We’ve been travelling for five months and this was one of our favourite stays! Definitely stay here!
