Parking in front is on public road and free. Free coffee and tea provided. The breakfast the next morning was great. Fresh baguette and croissants, pain au chocolate mmmmm. Very friendly host. Came down to welcome and explain the functions of the flat on arrival.
Not negative but a suggestion would be to provide some milk in the fridge to go with the coffee, tea or cereals. We had some with us so not the biggest problem. Also a kettle for boiling water instead of using a pan.
And more pots in case you want to cook in the apartment.

Le puzzle is an excellent apartment with all the amenities and more that you can expect. The welcome and visit of the apartment were very friendly and nice and check in was flexible and meeting all expectations. The apartment has very nice details and is spacious, even for 4 people.
Breakfast was excellent and had all that we could have wanted.

Very well equipped and spacious apartment. Stayed with 2 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby. Located near city center, just a short walk. To the beach boulevard was about 20 min. Whirlpool in the basement was nice for our kids, who enjoyed it very much. Stayed for just one night, we were in transit. Breakfast was taken care off, fresh bread and croissants were delivered, all other necessities were available.
Bedroom is located in the basement, which makes it a bit moisty and having that typical basement smell. Street in which the frontdoor is located does not directly give a first positive vibe when arriving.

Delivered by our friendly host, for breakfast we had some croissants & bread with jam provided which suited us. The property was clean and tidy and well catered for but had an unusual layout. The main bedroom was downstairs below the road accessed by a spiral stair case with a separate bathroom but no toilet which was up at ground level.
The night we stayed there was a nearby club which started late and played through till early morning. The noise from the club wasn't an issue but the patrons talking and laughing outside the room on the road and path was a problem for our son who was in the sofa bed at ground level. We weren't troubled as much being downstairs but it was very noisy on the sofa bed. It may have been an odd night that we were there and the club was open but thought it worth mentioning.

In the interests of trying to find some positives….there are three huge TVs, wifi, and a coffee machine if this sort of thing interests you. The owner is very polite and pleasant, and he brought us a nice breakfast of warm croissants and bread in the morning.
Do NOT book this place if you have young children.
This is the first bad review we have ever posted as we are usually positive people and make the best of things. We couldn’t at this place. We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children aged 4 and 7) as a stopover from the south of france on route to the eurotunnel.
First impression: the overwhelming stench of mould and damp. I wanted to turn round and leave straight away.
Only one bed, advertised as two beds and a sofa bed. The sofa “bed” was stained, the mattress in the bedroom was also heavily stained.
First health warning: The bedroom is in a smelly damp basement with a hot tub and a shower - we have no idea why anyone would think it a good idea to install a shower and a jacuzzi bath in a basement with no ventilation?
Second heath warning: the staircase is metal, with absolutely nothing to stop a small child from falling through from the upper level to the basement to the left side of the stairs. Luckily our children are of ages that they are steady on their feet, but for a younger child i’d be really
concerned.
Also, if you intend your children to sleep on the sofa, which is at street level, you will be downstairs in the damp basement - this set up is unacceptable to us. We were under the impression as above from booking.com there would be two double beds - we informed the owner of this and showed him the booking.com page.
As we had arrived in the evening with a big drive behind us and a long drive back to worcestershire in front, we decided to stay put just for the one night. Big mistake, our eldest vomited during the night saying he felt he couldn’t breathe. Coincidence we were all in the basement? We’ll never know.
So we all slept upstairs - the children slept on the sofa and we “slept” (lay uncomfortably until the earliest available eurotunnel!) on the floor.

Farid is a very friendly gentleman, who showed us around in his generously equipped apartment right away although we were rather early. It's a very nice apartment located in the ancient port where, I assume, there used to be warehouses. The city seems to be under development with new housing facilities being created throughout. Farid was very welcoming and we felt at home right away. There was water in the fridge, marmelade, fruit juice. Amazing! We couldn't resist having a wonderful dinner in his restaurant 'Le Puzzle' which I recommend to anyone. The next morning he brought baguette, croissants, pain au chocolat for an easy breakfast in 'our' home. Super sympa!! Great location as the Musée Portuaire is right next door and both the Dynamo Museum and city centre are within walking distance.

The main bedroom in the basement was very cool which helped as temperatures were in the 30's. Sleeping on the ground floor sofa was a bit too warm but the temperatures were unexpectedly high! The continental breakfast was amazing and plenty of it - there was enough for lunch too! The host who works in the next door restaurant brings breakfast to the back door at a requested time. Very useful location if using the eurotunnel

Spacious. Good contact with the staff. Very helpful and friendly!
Breakfast could have had wine cheese and ham with the bread.
It was a bit damp and humid in the basement

Property is very modern and clean with space for four adults to stay. This was our second time there and it is perfect for our needs. The host is very pleasant and delivers breakfast in the morning.
Our only niggle would be that it could do with a 2nd toilet.

Excellent welcome and assistance, lovely breakfast hand-delivered, funky, unusual, modernist apartment with superb jacuzzi and in an excellent, central location.
Slightly freaked out by 2nd floor glass floor over basement on way to toilet!!

Great apartment with great facilities. It had a quirky style that we really liked. Lots of space and huge bathroom downstairs. Really short walk to the city centre.
We were met with the keys quite quickly but had to wait at the property for a short while for someone to come to the property to explain everything

The place accepted pets and the location was quiet. It was about a 5 minute walk to a grocery store and a nice 20 minute walk to the beach.
Although it looks great in the pictures and on first impression, the place is not cleaned thoroughly after each guest and is generally not well maintained. The floors are vacuumed but not mopped. When wiping up some water on the floor, the sponge came up black! The dishwasher stunk and didn't clean the dishes properly. Turned out that the filter was clogged with the remnants of prior guests meals.
The kitchen is poorly equipped, the only pot was huge (3 litres or more) and had no lid. We assumed the lack of basics in the kitchen was intended to encourage you to order from the owner's restaurant. We didn't dare eat there once we saw how dirty the apartment was.
The linens and towels were clean and smelled of bleach - they must go to a professional laundry. (Note, however, there were no hooks for hand towels for either of the bathroom sinks). The cleanliness of bathroom mats, on the other hand, was dubious. The shower had mold in the corners and the whole downstairs smelled of mold ... You must keep the ventilation on all the time as there is no other way to get rid of the moisture downstairs!
The vacuum cleaner smelled horrible when we used it in the kitchen (no broom available). The toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall, as did the spray wand in the Jacuzzi tub.
Although the owner said there was Netflix, the service quit after 2 days, asking for a subscription.
Finally, on the last day, when the owner already knew we had complaints, he shortchanged us our breakfast and promised to bring the "forgotten" pastries, but he never brought them.

An extremely warm welcome, lots of space, beautiful atmospheric lighting, jacuzzi bathtub, smart TVs, Bluetooth speakers, lovely breakfast, couldn’t ask for more !!! And a delicious cooked dinner was brought to me on request, excellent service ! 😊
The mixer tap on the bathtub was very stiff and needs fixing.
