We fell in love with Casa Tranquility the moment we viewed the patios surrounded by lush greenery beyond words. The residence was top notch in presentation, facility, and welcoming touches like breakfast, wine, and and Alexa. Everything and more than we needed was at our fingertips. The hosts provided a book of introduction and information, as well as resources for enjoying San Diego beyond the Casa. We feel extremely fortunate in finding this gem and will definitely make plans to return.

The property was the basement of the homeowners. We were greeted by Michael who showed us our rooms and explained what we had access to. The room, Patio and garden.

The hosts offered complimentary wine and alcoholic beverages in the fridge. Breakfast was provided for one of the two days, and you could tell the hosts went above and beyond with the little details that made this a great stay. The garden in front was beautiful and they even provided mosquito spray for the mosquitoes in the backyard, which was not preventable. We really enjoyed the firepit they had; it was nice to drink in the garden by the fireside. For the price we paid for 2 nights, this was a steal.

The only complaint I have was that they were doing house work during our stay, so some of the lights and decorations had to be taken down in the garden area; however, we spent most of the time away from the hotel, so it wasn't a big deal.

Very responsive hosts. A beautiful yard, like a botanical garden including a fountain. So many little conveniences like charging stations on either side of the bed, popcorn, a basket of fruit, alexa for music....

It was so peaceful, amazing staff everything was super clean nice and fresh, definitely see myself bring my family in the near future, thank you so much.

We liked the garden. Bathroom was great. Kitchen was fine. Nice gesture with the sparkling wine on arrival. Complimentary drinks in the fridge. Coffee-machine. Everything looked good at first sight...

The advertisement says "Private room with jacuzzi"- but there was no jacuzzi available.... Disappointing. The room was not soundproofed enough. We could hear everything from upstairs where the host lived. The AC from upstairs was located behind a door next to us on the lower floor. Very disturbing sound especially at night! We woke up every night- both from these sounds and from aching backs. The bed was a disaster. Felt like a hammock. Worn out. In urgent need for an update.

It was just what I needed during a challenging family time. The space was beautiful, clean and had an excellent view. I enjoyed it so much more than a hotel! Thank you!

After a long flight this was a perfect start for our vacation. Michael and David were great host, the room had everything we needed and the garden is just beautiful. And when I forgot my Kindle they were so kind to ship it back to me !

A little Paradise. Just absolutely wonderful and so peaceful. So much attention to detail and so tasteful. Make sure you forget about restaurants here, just order in some food and enjoy it in the beautiful backyard with a nice bottle of wine. We'll be back!
