We had a perfect stay at La Maison Ocre. The most peaceful setting with gorgeous views. Danny was a great host, giving us lots of suggestions for activities in the area for us and our two small children. The house was so comfortable and had everything you needed. We had a great stay at La Maison Ocre. The Gite is a good size and has a nice relaxed feel. The views of the vineyard are lovely and we enjoyed seeing Deer, Hares, Woodpeckers and more. The pool is excellent and this helped us to cool off in the hot weather. There were lots of things to do in the area and Bergerac centre was only a short drive away. Danny has created a beautiful holiday villa in a rural location just on the edge of Bergerac in the Dordogne. There is a cohesive design ethic to the property, kitchen with all necessary appliances, and an attractive outdoor table under large shady trees to enjoy meals. Very responsive to messages and requests for help. The infinity pool overlooks rolling countryside. A great base to relax and explore.
