Casa Noble century. XVIII with private pool, balconies and spectacular views!
Auf der 1. Etage des Hauses gibt es ein Zimmer mit zwei Betten und ein Bad. Auf der gleichen Etage gibt es zwei Schlafzimmer mit zwei Betten und eines mit einem Doppelbett, die die gleiche Badezimmer teilen. Es gibt ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad im Erdgeschoss. Die Zimmer haben Zugang zu einem Balkon mit spektakulärer Aussicht auf das Gelände und in die Nähe von Viana do Castelo. Das Haus hat einen Wohnraum mit Kamin, TV und Bibliothek, sowie ein Esszimmer und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Das Haus verfügt über kostenfreies WLAN, den Zugang in eine der Unterklassen, incluinda im Pool und befindet sich vor dem Haus, umgeben von einer großen Wiese umgeben. Tischtennis und Volleyballplatz runden das Angebot des Hauses in Bezug auf Freizeit.
Das Haus von St. John wird von den Eigentümern geteilt, aber kann für 7 Nächte und mindestens 2 Nächte (Wochenende, eine Woche) gemietet werden. Check-in 16 00 Check-out im 10. 00.

My wife, our two young boys and I, had the most fabulous stay at Casa Sao Joao.
We rented the left wing apartment of the house, overlooking the pool. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, with ice cold a/c for the hot days, of which there were many!
The manor house is set in the most sumptuous grounds, with lovely shady vine tunnels surrounding the pool, leading to deeper depths of the garden and many flowers in bloom.
The pool was a delight. Perfect to spend the day by or taking an evening dip after a hot day exploring attractions.
Joao and Mafalda, the hosts, deserve a special mention as their hospitality was really touching. We were truly welcomed, like a part of their family. So much so we enjoyed the best Shrimp salad, prepared by Mafalda and were serenaded by Joao, playing traditional folk music on his accordion. What a treat! We soon came to appreciate Joao's recommendations of places to visit and eat, were extremely valuable too!
We can't wait to return!

I choose this house because it was not a modern purpose built tourist apartment and because it had a swimming pool and bidet. João and Mafelda were so helpful and welcoming.
The house is old being built around1734 it did not have the same amenities as expected in more usual properties but the price reflected this. I did not appreciate how much was to share with the owners when they were in residence. It is described as an apartment which is how it functions when the owners are not in residence but cooking facilities and sitting / dining areas are shared. The pool was a godsend as we were there during a heatwave and as the owners were only present on the weekends we had exclusive use during the week, likewise the rest of the property. João and Mafelda the owners were very keen to make us feel welcome and we enjoyed our stay very much . There is very good food shopping and restaurants in the village.

A minha estadia foi resumidamente dormitório.
Não esquecerei nunca a cimpatia,e modo como fomos recebidos pelo casal Sr. João Coutinho e sua esposa.
