We instantly felt at home and at peace at the Cottage! Bronwen was there to meet us with a welcoming smile and lots of useful information, including a reminder of the 20 mph zones, which we'd forgotten about!
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook comfortably, the bed was lovely and comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. Toiletries, towels and a hairdryer were provided.
The views and the tranquility were beyond expectation! Just lovely to sit and watch nature on display.
Great location for exploring the area, and there was lots to see and do, I hope we can return and stay in the Cottage again.

Cottage was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Ideal location for visiting the surrounding area. Peaceful with lovely rural views but only a short drive to the centre of Llangollen. We loved the character of the cottage and it felt like a home away from home. Bronwen the host was very friendly and provided a welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk and biscuits. She also provided washing machine detergent which was handy.

Lovely views from the cottage. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent WiFi. Spacious for a couple in a small cottage. Easy drive to Llangollen and major attractions of the area. Good information provided including an Ordnance Survey map. You can easily do walks from the cottage.
Nothing really, just a couple of negatives, I marked down on cleanliness only because a few cobwebs/ spiderwebs in some of the rooms, but to be expected in the country, so not a great issue. Some of the decor needs a refresh. Some people might find the steep stairs a problem, but they are highlighted in the description.

Superb in all respects. I have holidayed in this area twice yearly for 20 years. This is the best- set up thus far . lovely romantic setting just 500 metres from the main and 4 miles to Llangollen.( ditto Ruabon other direction) The better side of the Dee valley . BIG cottage. We will be back
Nothing. Some might prefer having a restaurant or pub within easy walking distance but we loved the remoteness and you wouldn’t come without a car.

Good location for seeing a wider area but also loads to see close by, so we have decided to book again next year to see more as it is such a lovely cottage with everything you need and more. Very clean and comfortable and spacious too.

Superb and peaceful position. Fully equipped with everything you need including a washing machine. Lovely bathroom with large walk in shower. Big tv with free view and Netflix. Comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Ample free parking on site. Lovely patio area with far reaching uninterrupted views across the valley. The owner is always on hand should you need to know anything and she bakes a mean cake. Loads of maps, books etc and general information on a bookshelf on the landing for things to do and see.

Location was great, I needed to be close to Llangollen and views were lovely. The cottage was very clean and had a homely feel with plenty of amenities. The host, Bronwen, was very welcoming and helpful.

The cottage was very well placed for excellent hill walking. It was very well equipped and had a lovely terrace for eating outside in the evening sun. The owner was very friendly and most helpful.

Beautiful characterful cottage with magnificent views. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen lovely shower room. New boiler provides excellent central heating and hot water. So many places to visit. Stayed a while, working in Wrexham. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending. Thank you to our hostess for sharing this beautiful property (and the cakes!)
