Pros: Home was very clean! That was a plus for this rental! It was spacious for 4 adults, 1 child, & tiny dog. The kitchen had the basics necessary that most rentals have. The sofa was the most comfortable sofa ever. We loved it! The neighborhood itself was unbelievably quiet in the evenings which is great. We love the fact that it was a gated community. The Scandi staff was great in taking action for our concerns. They were very professional and kind. That means a lot. So a huge thank you to them!Cons: The swimming pool had not been serviced when we arrived. There was a great deal of algae buildup along the sides and all over the bottom of the pool. We contacted Scandi and they did reply promptly and sent someone out to clean the swimming pool. However, we still couldn't use the pool until day 3 because it took awhile for the algae to be treated by the pool chemicals. They did work with us on that- we appreciate that they did make their best effort to rectify the situation. The home is well kept but keep in mind that it is an older home and could use some updating. The shower pressure is so strong in one of the bathrooms that it actually hurt to stand under it. The master bedroom mattress makes noise constantly. I think it is because it sits on a wooden platform and not box springs. That made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The master bathroom shower drain doesn't fit properly into the floor... it needs to be fixed.

The rental was perfect for us (2 adults) and our small dog. The house was decorated very nicely and had more than enough room for us. The air conditioning worked well and kept the house cool and the pool temperature was also very comfortable during an early March stay. There were plenty of restaurants close by, and easy access from the resort. We also had family members that live nearby over for dinner one night and there was a small communication gap on getting everyone through the guard at the gate, but it worked out okay.The host at this property was also very quick at anserwing any questions that we had.I would highly recommend this property and would definetly stay her again.

This property was PERFECT for my family of 8! The pool and hot tub were amazing after spending time at the parks. The beds were very comfortable and the house is well maintained. We would love to book here again in the future!

The location and size of this property fit our needs.It was very close to all of the major attractions in the area. The check in process was done ahead of time. I was told by 4pm we would be given the access codes to the house. I did not receive any information until I called at 430pm. The house itself does need a little attention. The carpet is stained and needs a deep vacuuming. The curtains fell off the windows if you tried to close them. There were blinds missing from both the door to the pool and in one of the main bedrooms, making it impossible to use since you lacked any privacy from the pool area. The lamp shades were broken on the lamps, so they hung crooked. There were bath mats in the bathroom that definitely needed to be thrown away, since they were covered in a sticky, hard substance. The pool was our main reason for choosing this house for our kids to use. We paid the additional fee to have the pool heated, and by the third day into our stay, the heat pump broke. There was a maintenance man called, but it needed a pool repair person. The repair man did not show up for two days, making the pool not enjoyable for our family, as it was cold and stagnant. When I would call management, the response for the manager was that there was a ticket, and would not be able to give me an update on when it would be fixed. I was not offered any refund for the days we paid for the pool to be heated. It was a big disappointment for our kids not to be able to use the pool.
