Very beautiful apartment with plenty of space. Very well equipped with all items needed. Great location within walking distance of many great locations. Fernando and Maria were great host and reacted to any issues immediately. Highly recommended and we would stay again next time we are in Cascais

Fernando Cruz, the owner of the the property couldn't have been more helpful. The property was perfect since we needed an elevator building with air conditioning and a washer and dryer. Because I have trouble with steps, it would have been perfect if it was closer to the center of Cascais.
If you have no problem walking it's only a 15 minute walk.
We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely clean, bright apartment. Very comfortable stay here. A bit of a downhill walk into Cascais town and the beaches but only costs about 4e in a taxi. Fernando and Marie Cruz organised our transfer from the Airport which was great.

My wife and I happily spent the entire month of January 2023 here. The owner's photos do not lie - the place is very roomy, especially for us as a couple, but the addition of another couple or two or three kids would not detract too much from the comfort. The main bedroom is huge with a large bed (Portuguese King) and a huge amount of storage in closets, which are fitted with both drawers and hanger rods. The living room is quite large and well accommodates the two sofas and the dining room table. The two roll out beds in the living room, however, are positioned awkwardly, and would require significant movement of furniture in order to make use of them. Not a factor for us, but something to consider for those who wish to rent for a large group. The kitchen is good, but, as per the photos, counter space is limited, and having the fridge and oven on the opposite side of the room is ergonomically challenging. Serious cooks might find this kitchen a bit disappointing, but we managed well enough. We met most of our grocery needs at a nearby small store , but we still needed to take the longer walk to the Auchan store for some needs, and the trip back, uphill, was a bit of a hump. The location on a busy street makes sitting outside on the large balconies a rather noisy experience - not an issue for our January visit because it is was too cold outside, (and it is quiet enough inside) but it would be disappointing for a stay during warmer months. Fernando is an excellent host - he arranged for transportation from the Lisbon airport to Cascais, met us at the unit and showed us around, and promptly and effectively addressed the few issues that arose, all in good English.

My husband and I stayed at the apartment in late November. The weather was not the greatest, but the apartment was. It was very comfortable, and in a perfect location. We were able to walk into town without any problems. It's location is just outside the historical center of Cascais. We even caught the bus to take a day trip to Sintra right outside the apartment. The host recommended two restaurants in the neighborhood - Bela Azul was authentic Portuguese comida frequented by the locals. Mais do Mesmo (which means More of the Same) is a contemporary twist on typical Portuguese cuisine. They were both excellent. If we visit Cascais again we would definitely look into renting this apartment once more. Our hosts were very accommodating and communication we excellent.

The condo is modern and well appointed with all of the conveniences. It is located in walking distance to the marina district and offers two neighborhood gem restaurants and cafe.

Great stay.
Fernando was amazing host, helping us with everything from airport transfer to restaurant and places to go.
The apartment is well located, very spacious, with a lot natural light, clean and modern. I particularly love his automatic shades (black out) on all windows. We are a group of 5 people, and there were beds for everybody. I just love it this apartment and I can't wait to go back.

Spacious, clean apartment
If you are looking for a spacious, super clean apartment then this is for you. Fernando was great at communicating and very amicable about our late check in. Transfers were all arranged from airport which was a great help. A good walk back from the centre but not too far - helped to burn off all the food and wine consumed that week. Great apartment/Great stay in Cascais
First trip to Portugal is in the books and our family (2 adults, 3 children aged 15, 12 and 3.5) had a great time! This apartment was a PERFECT home base for our 5 nights in Cascais because it is so comfortable, clean, bright, safe/secure and spacious. When we were at home, we could spread out and never felt crowded on top of each other at all. The pictures really are an accurate representation of the place. The location is ideal - so important since we had no car - with easy walking access to the center of town Cascais with its restaurants, beach, grocery store, shops and the bus and train stations. Other reviews have mentioned that it’s a downhill walk into town, 10 minutes or so, and this is true but we didn’t find the walk back up difficult either. In any case, there is a bus stop just across from the apartment (in front of the pastry shop where we went daily) if you need to avoid the walk back up or taxis and Uber are other options. The 403 bus headed into Sintra stops just across from the apartment, though the 417 (which makes less stops) is another option into Sintra that we caught at the bus station and an easy train ride took us into Lisbon in 40 mins. The owners were so helpful and charming from the moment we booked the apartment - helping to arrange a transfer from/to the airport, showing us around the wonderful apartment at check in, and giving us good advice for our visit. Fernando couldn’t have been nicer! Should we ever get the chance to return to Cascais, we would definitely stay here again!

Home from Home
Very comfortable, well equipped apartment. Spent 10 days with my wife and a couple of friends, loved the apartment and location. Only a short stroll down the hill into the centre of Cascais, only 4€ taxi fare back when we didn't feel like the walk.
Fernando was waiting when we arrived, showed us around the apartment and left us to enjoy our holiday, he replied to all text within a few minutes recommending a couple of excellent restaurants.
Pretty sure we'll return as thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, apartment and the Lisbon area.

We have rented in Cascais over the years. This is, hands down, the best apartment we have ever stayed in. From the check-in with Fernando, to the final closing of the door, with keys left inside (sad), it was so comfortable, clean, cared for, and well-equipped. Parking was easy, walking to the sea was easy. There is a lovely fish restaurant within 2 blocks; a small but brilliantly supplied grocery store; a small but very good pharmacy; easy recycling and garbage disposal. The kitchen had all that we needed for cooking and coffee gulping and the dining room table was large. Everything was of a great size. No sneaky stretched photos here.The washing machine was easy to use, and would also dry, but there is a balcony off of the kitchen with 6 lines and a lot of clothes pins. Great a/c, when needed with huge windows to let in the cool evening air. Security metal roll down shutters - which we needed when a storm passed through - to keep the apartment dry.Lovely linens, both the sheets and towels.Well, obviously I could go on and on, but will stop with a heartfelt thank you to both Fernando and Maria Jose, the owners. There when we needed them, and not there when we did not.It’s fabulous, truly. A lovely new apartment, shiny clean, with genteel owners. In this time of the world, nothing more can possibly be wanted!Will we return? Are you crazy? OF COURSE!

Amazingly perfect with caring owners
We have rented in Cascais over the years. This is, hands down, the best apartment we have ever stayed in. From the check-in with Fernando, to the final closing of the door, with keys left inside (sad), it was so comfortable, clean, cared for, and well-equipped.

The apartment exceeded my expectations it was well furnished, comfortable and the air-conditioning was great !!! It had everything you could need in the kitchen either to cook for a group or just a snack.
Everyone who saw the apartment friends, family who were there to attend a wedding were very impressed and a couple even asked for contact details. I would visit Cascais again and I would definitely stay at this apartment.

Just perfect
This luxury two bed/two bathroom apartment was perfect for our recent stay. It had everything - spotless, spacious, very well appointed and had all the essentials including wifi. It was a home from home for us and we looked forward to returning here each evening after a beach day or sightseeing trip.
The apartment is prox 15 minutes walking distance to the Centre of Cascais which is full of fabulous restaurants, particularly fish restaurants.
While in the area we took a trip to Lisbon via train and a day trip to Sintra via bus. Sintra is a must when visiting this area.
A huge thank you to Fernando and Maria the owners of this property who arranged our transfers and greeted us on arrival. They took time to show us around the apartment and were at the end of the phone if we needed assistance or guidance.
We had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends. We will definitely be back.

Luxury appartment in Cascais
This appartment more than lived up to its pictures, it is very well appointed and comfortable. The owners are extremely helpful and were able to give lots of advice on places to eat. The flat is on a main bus route which proved very useful for getting around.

We was greeted by the owners who were very kind and friendly.The apartment was very clean and spacious.It has all the required facilities to make the stay very comfortable.We walked into Cascais centre regular.The centre and beaches are super.The trip to Sintra is a must and the golf courses are well worth playing.We dined in on three occasions, most restaraunts are very good.We would reccommend the apartment to all our family and friends.Thankyou once again.

We are a family of 6 that travelled to Cascais for a family wedding/holiday
What a beautiful apartment- as others have said even nicer than the photos! All furnishings etc of very high quality - WIFI excellent which kept the kids happy!! Immaculately clean and the Cruz's on hand to help with any questions - delicious bakery with lovely owners literally across the road for morning pastries
A 15 min walk to beach and main Cascais - apartment uphill on way back but lovely area and pleasant walk! So no complaints!
Would highly recommend in every aspect - all kitchen appliances top notch- not that I used them much! Everything beautiful!! And extremely modern!!

Truly wonderful!
After 48 hours back home from this wonderful apartment and the beautiful Cascais, we are already scanning our diaries to see how soon we can return! The apartment was just as described with a welcoming, bright and spacious feel to it. Comprehensively equipped and tastefully appointed and furnished throughout, it's been an absolute pleasure to stay there. The apartment is well positioned for the shops, stunning beaches and bus/train stations and walking into the centre, through the old town, gives you a real sense of the community and it's people. Fernando and Maria Jose are enthusiastic owners who live locally and are proud of the apartment- this is reflected in how keen they are to oblige and just how lovely the apartment is. Cascais surpassed all our expectations..... beautiful seascapes and a non touristy feel. We have walked for miles and miles each day which we hadn't anticipated doing, but the views rewarded our efforts as did the many delicious ( mainly seafood) meals that we enjoyed on reaching our destinations. Cascais felt safe and clean and the evening walks along the promenade to Estoril were a lovely chance to catch the last few rays of sunshine and watch the surfers. A truly wonderful holiday and we can't wait to come back. Thanks Fernando and Maria Jose, hope to see you soon.

Fantastic Holiday
Recently returned home from a fantastic week away in Cascais. We had never heard of the town until we were looking for somewhere to stay after buying a very cheap flight from Liverpool to Lisbon.
The apartment was absolutely stunning and well equipped. The bed was extrememly comfortable and the furnishings throughout the apartment were very tasteful.
Fernando and Maria Jose were there to meet us on our arrival as promised and they explained everything relating to the accommodation and local area.
Cascais itself is a gem of a place and only 40 mins by train to Lisbon which is steeped in history and a 'must see' destination. There are many excellent restaurants in Cascais and Lisbon which are reasonably priced. We found Cascais to be more typically Portugese than the Algarve which added to its charm and in March we didn't see many Brits which again was a major plus!!!
Driving from the airport to Cascais was quite a challenge, even with satnav. If you hire a car during your stay, don't contemplate driving anywhere near Lisbon until you are ready to come home. In fact there is actually no need for a car as the public transport system in this area is superb and cheap and you can reach all of the popular tourist areas by train or bus.
All in all a great place to visit and wouldn't hestitate to return and thanks to Fernando and Maria Jose.
P.S. Another reviewer has mentioned suitable footwear......Ladies, don't bring any strappy high heeled sandals. You will end up in hospital with a broken ankle. The pavements are all quite unevenly cobbled and slippy and you will take a tumble, I did and I was wearing trainers!!!!

Perfect stay
The listing description regarding the location and facilities was accurate. The property was brand new, very clean and well maintained. The owner provided perfect service and this property can be highly recommended for friends and relatives. There was several good fish restaurants within walking distance as well as a big supermarket with all kind of seafood you might need for a nice dinner at home.

Wonderful apartment in Cascais
Our party of 4 stayed here for 6 nights recently and had a wonderful time. The apartment is modern, light and airy and beautifully decorated throughout. It has everything you could possibly need and is a real "home from home" . We especially loved sitting out in the evenings on the large terrace. Fernando and Maria were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They even drove us to the nearest supermarket when we arrived very late after a delayed flight- so that we could get provisions in for the next morning. The apartment is well situated - only a short walk down into town and the beach and there is a wonderful bakery and fish restaurant over the road. We highly recommend this apartment and would love to come back here again one day. Once again, many thanks Maria and Fernando.

Great Holiday
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment. As can be seen from the photos, everything is in perfect condition and immaculately clean. The lounge and main bedroom are enormous. We have stayed in lots of rentals before but this has to be the nicest. To top that the owners Maria Jose and Fernando are very helpful in every way. They kindly arranged our pick up and drop off from the airport which added greatly to the enjoyment of our holiday. They also left a gift for my husband who was celebrating a significant birthday which was much appreciated.
We found Cascais to be a great holiday destination, a seaside holiday with a capital city on your doorstep. We would have loved another week as there was so much to enjoy.
The town/train station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment with a further 5 minute walk to the seafront. Be warned. Bring lots of flat comfortable shoes as the pavements are very bumpy and play havoc with your feet (you will know what I am talking about when you get there). There is a bakery across the road for your daily bread and amazing cheesecake. We were there in August and the temperature was perfect, about 25, so we didn't need the aircon very much.
Overall, a beautiful apartment in a beautiful part of the world. Thanks again to Maria Jose and Fernando for their wonderful customer service.
