Bright, clean, charming apartment, with a well equipped kitchen. The living area is open to the kitchen, is cozy and clean and the outdoor area was pleasant in the good weather. The location is perfect for exploring the town, in walking distance to everything yet very quiet at night.

The stairs to the second floor bedrooms could be a challenge to anyone with mobility problems or to young children. You access the second bedroom by walking through the first bedroom.

The location and quietness of the property were great. It really is in the center of Amboise and close to the bakery, cheese shop, wine store and cafes. It was clean and comfortable. We also were able to use the washer/dryer so we were able to reduce some of the clothes we needed to pack.

Reading other reviews about the stairs made us a little apprehensive, but they are fine. I admit, they are steep if you have to go downstairs during the night. The alleyway to the property can look dark before the motion light kicks on--use the flashlight on your phone and you're fine.

Very nice and confortable apartment on two floors and with a little garden, located in the very centre of Amboise. The whole structure was clean and spacious and we especially appreciated the bathroom with a window, which is not common in France. Although we did not meet the owners, they made us feel their assistance and availability for any need; convenient and easy key management and the auto-check in/check out mechanism, which allowed us to quickly access to the apartment even being very late in the evening

only to note that the stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor are very steep; not a problem for me, but good to know

this is in a very convenient location for walking around Amboise and visiting the local chateaux by foot. Pastry and bakery are just steps away. the apartment is in the middle of everything. the outdoor patio and yard were nice to have access to.

the stairs to the bedroom might be difficult for older people with mobility issues. we just left our luggage on the first floor and dressed there vs taking luggage upstairs. that was convenient for us as the bathroom is also on the first floor.

Perfect location, clean and comfortable.

Parking was slightly inconvenient but not much. Unloading and loading the car was at off peak hours was fine.

Excellent cottage in the center of amboise , great help from the host, exceptional facilities , all new modern and super clean .

The stairs for the bedrooms are steep , was not a problem for us , but could be a problem for someone old.

It was absolutely exceptional house. You could see that everything was done with the comfort of guests in mind. The Kitchen was equipped with everything necessary, bathroom as well. The house clean to perfection.

Fabulous stay in central Amboise. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, great shower, lovely sunny garden through lounge.

Fantastic location, minutes from Chateau Royal d'Amboise, river and supermarket. Stylish apartment. Well heated. Great bathroom and kitchen with dishawasher. Smart TV and good wifi. Little outdoor area. Washing machine and dryer. Welcoming note and bottle of champagne on arrival lovely touch. Definitely would recommend as a place to stay.

The beds are of average comfort and we had to make the beds on our arrival (which we did not realise until getting ready for bed after a long day).
