The house was immaculate and decorated so beautifully. The kitchen had everything we needed for when we wanted to cook. The property is in a quiet area and it was delightful being able to walk the beach everyday. Everything together made this a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. Can't wait to go again!

This home was the perfect home away from home. The hosts thought of everything (read the recommendations in the welcome book!). I was delighted to discover supplies to make pour over coffee, and my hubby was pleased to have his brewed in a pot. Our teenagers were in heaven with a much better internet connection than expected, and our 3 year old was thrilled by the pile of sand at the top of the path that led to the beach (a spot that allowed the parents to enjoy time sitting in the yellow chairs without worrying about him jumping in the ocean). The beds were amazingly comfy, and the furniture thoughtfully selected - I could have slept on the couch quite happily. The location is very close to the ferry to Nova Scotia, so keep that in mind if you are planning to island hop. GREAT spot - plan on staying a while!

We could not have asked for a better place! Beautiful beach the accommodations were second to none! Beautifully decorated, beds were super comfortable. Location was great. Thank you Tracy for being such a great host. Can’t wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren playing on the beach. They played soccer on the grass and the house is beautiful, like out of a magazine. Falling asleep listening to the waves was magical, and lovely sunsets. Ate chowder and lobster rolls from Point Prim on a few occasions! A special place to make memories. Karen Watts

We had been looking forward to staying at the Beach House for so long and it far exceeded our expectations!! Hosts: The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. We were lucky enough to meet them walking on the beach and they were so lovely. They seemed so genuine and excited for us to spend our with there. Throughout this whole process they have been so amazing and helpful. Property: The property was incredible. Everything is styled so beautifully while still being warm and inviting. It is both exactly like the pictures and somehow more. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly need and I mean everything! Parents don’t worry there are tons of things for your kids to use, they’ve thought of everything. I found myself wandering around taking note of things I wanted to find to bring back home. I have a kettle being shipped as we speak! The views are stunning, especially at sunset and you can hear the waves at night from the main bedroom. The Beach: There is absolutely nothing better than being literally right on a beach. While PEI has lots of beautiful beaches, if you have kids not having to pack up everything and drive to a beach or walk a mile down a dirt road is worth everything! It was sandy and the kids enjoyed swimming and building sandcastles. The highlight however was whenever the tide went out. We found sea glass galore, beautiful shells and even a message in the bottle. We walked for miles finding treasures, digging for clams and playing with little hermit crabs. It was such a magic experience. The location: We purposefully picked the east side of the island to get away from the crowds in the centre of the island and to enjoy quieter, warmer, waters and we don’t regret it at all. We went out exploring almost every day and found amazing beaches, lighthouses and parks. We enjoyed talking to locals and finding quiet and delicious places to eat. We did go visit Anne of Green Gables and even with small children the drive wasn’t that long. I’m sure all parts of PEI are beautiful, but I will always have a place in my heart for this quiet corner full of people who live and love this island year round. I had a list of things to see and do spread around the island and 90% of it was checked off just on our beach. The week was practically perfect and filled our hearts so much. We are so thankful for opportunity to stay here.

Sunshine Beach House was beautiful and made my trip home to PEI even better. A beautiful property with a stunning view and a great beach on the ocean and a cottage with great owners who really take care of every detail. My friend and I loved it. My family visited here and there and loved it as well. What an amazing time we had. Thank you so much.

When you arrive at a rental property, you hope it’s as good as the photos in the listing. We had high expectations arriving at the Sunshine Beach House, and the property exceeded them! What a wonderful spot. So airy, and you can see the water from all the south and east-facing windows. You can hear the waves on the shore as you go to sleep and as you wake up. The house has been carefully decorated—well appointed, but casual and comfortable. It’s all the details that stick with us: the kitchen is *fully* stocked; everything in the house is labeled and exactly where you hoped it would be; there’s an outdoor shower for washing off sand and salt; there are beach shoes in the shed; there’s a tide clock, so you know how soon the water will turn. The hosts are terrific. Friendly, responsive to inquiries, happy to pass on suggestions, a delight to deal with. 10/10.

You could not find a more perfect vacation spot than Sunshine beach house. Our hosts thought of and provided everything we could need, the space is very clean, very comfortable and perfectly situated on a quiet stretch of beach. Good location for day trips around the island. Can’t wait to come back.

If you are looking for a tranquil, peaceful spot, this is the place!! Tracy and Jerry’s place is such a gem. Waterfront views, beach access, modern and clean amenities. Perfect spot for a family needing to get away from it all. Both Tracy and Jerry were easy to get ahold of and very hospitable with their accommodations. We couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay at Sunshine Beach House! Even before we arrived, Tracy was in touch was some great tips and recommendations. The house is big, absolutely immaculate, perfectly located, beautifully decorated, and has literally everything you could ever need on a vacation (and all of it was perfectly organized, too). Tracy and Jerry were kind enough to connect with some expert local tips on clamming (right in the "backyard"!!) and even delivered some cream for our coffee when we didn't have any. The house was a bit far from some of the things we wanted to do, but that didn't stop us from exploring the island. Plus ... we wouldn't have had nearly as peaceful and as clam-filled a visit had we stayed in a busier part of the island, so the extra few minutes of driving on occasion was well worth it! Absolutely can't wait to go back to Sunshine Beach House and hopefully stay for even longer next time. What an amazing way to kick off our summer!!

Sunshine Beach House exceeded expectations! It has amazing views, a great beach, and it was very clean. We couldn`t believe how well stocked it was. We can't wait to go back! We highly recommend this place. On top of that, Tracy was great to communicate with, and even provided an entire brochure of great recommendations for things to do around the island. Easily 5-Stars!!!!

A year ago I decided I would take a dream vacation somewhere on the ocean. I found the Sunshine Beach House on the Internet, and never having been to PEI before, decided to give it a try. Well every expectation went beyond my dreams. Not only did I find a lovely house on the sea, everything was so nice: cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen, a view of the sea from every window of living quarters, Tracy making regular checks on my comfort! I will never forget my daily 6 km walks on Stewart Beach, (5 minutes away by car) looking out for seals, and swimming right in front of the house upon returning. 28 days of sunshine(!) and pure delight. You get exactly what you pay for , but it seems like even more .The property looks wonderful in the pictures , but when you arrive and see/ experience it in person , the pictures do not do it justice . It is an amazing place to have for yourself while visiting PEI . Modern design , pristinely clean on arrival, calming ocean theme , Complete amenities - absolutely everything you need is right there for you! Beachfront , private space ( indoor and out ) , tons of room , awesome sunsets over the water .Plenty of activities inside and out . And Located in a very peaceful area of the Island . You really cant ask for more ! Perfect for all types of families - Young or Old From start to finish - It was a very enjoyable experience .The Hosts have thought of everything - and clearly they have a passion for the Beach / Island that they want to share with others in a Beautiful property and setting . Our infant son was turning 2 and given the Covid situation and the Atlantic bubble, we were looking for a getaway suitable for our family (myself, my spouse and our son) as well as my parents for a week. Sunshine Beach House was the perfect getaway! The views are spectacular. Morning coffee and evening sunsets at the adirondack chairs, listening to the surf lap at the shore from the comfort of your bedroom/porch (or anywhere on the beach or property, for that matter), the skies are sufficiently dark at night for proper stargazing even with a warming bonfire... there's really not much else one could want for when planning a quiet getaway. The property itself is very modern and well appointed, extremely comfortable. It's the perfect setting for a relaxing time away. The kitchen is well stocked, there are many options for keeping the kids active & occupied, the beds and pillows are melt-your-stress-away good. While we were looking for something of a 'remote' outing, it is also worth noting that you're really no further than 30 minutes out from several communities - so whatever you are looking for, you'll find it. As hosts, the Carrs are extremely responsive and obviously love their time running the property. It's plainly evident that they want you & your family to enjoy the very most of your vacation, and they do an exemplary job of sharing this special place with you. In every way, our hopes and expectations for the vacation were exceeded. And, my guess is - yours will be too. Don't hesitate! As in most things, the truest test as to whether or not you enjoyed yourself is if you'd be back - returning to the 'regular' grind, we're already daydreaming about a return to Sunshine Beach House.
