The house is stunning! The location is amazing with views all around and nobody passing by. We had one day with continuous wind and heavy rain and didn’t mind staying in as the house has so much light and the comfy sofa and fire meant reading our books was bliss! There are views from every window and the sky and sea colours change every few minutes. We enjoyed seeing the horses, sheep and birds. Bring binoculars as there is SO much to watch. Bonus was having a corncrake in the garden all week. The bistro has great food and the shop is well stocked although bringing what you can is best. The only other shops are the lovely craft/gift shop and the wool shop. The walk to the beach takes longer than you think as there is so much to stop and look at on the way. The beach is amazing! We went 4 times and only saw 2 people, it felt like a private beach. It is easy to drive to North Uist and Benbecula and maybe South Uist and Eriskay if you wanted to make a day of it. We decided to just enjoy Berneray as the weather wasn’t great. We have no negatives at all. It is clear to see why this house is booked up so far ahead. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home.

Fantastic property we had the most amazing time, we loved Berneray. For a small island, there’s so much to see and do if you love wildlife and beaches. We loved the east beach most of all. It’s so easy to see the best sights in North Uist from here. We also travelled down to Eriskay for a trip on one day. The Berneray shop and bistro is fantastic, you won’t need to cook if you don’t want to!! Friendly and fab service there. The house has everything you need to enjoy the most amazing holiday. We will be returning for sure! If we can get a space!

The property was really clean, well furnished and had everything we needed. The view is amazing and changes every day. Steve even put up some Christmas decorations up for us. Would definitely stay here again.Thank you.
