everything about the property was beautiful and the location was right down the street from the main square and markets.

the only thing was the air conditioner in one of the rooms didn’t work. other than that everything was perfect!

Nouar, the lady who looks after the house, was wonderful in every respect and produced the most fantastic breakfast every morning as well as providing us with two delicious Moroccan evening meals. She was also responsible for keeping the house clean, making beds and tidying our rooms. It was an authentic Moroccan/Marrakech experience with access to the Souks and nearby restaurants within easy walking distance. The people could nothave

We felt that the condition of the house was slightly tired, with quite a lot of steep steps and it was a bit more cramped than the website photos suggested. However we also felt that it was important to take into account that Morocco is a third world country and while the facilities did not match a typical Spanish town house for example, everything worked, there was plentiful hot water for showers and a large G&T on the upper terrace on the evening a delightful experience to share with ones friends.

The riad is lovely with a beautiful rooftop area and nice details. Breakfast was great as the hostess considered our wishes.

There is no inside seating area - in November the evenings are quite cold. The pool is said to be heated but in reality it is not. One of the rooms has a bathroom outside.

The lady who cleaned the house and cooked, Naour was amazing. She was very sweet and accommodated us well. The location was great and we felt safe.

The AC went out one night and so did the hot water. It was very uncomfortable. The microwave did not work the entire stay. Sometimes it was extremely difficult getting in touch with the host and the language barrier made things difficult as well.

The location of the riad is very convenient in the Medina, but you need to go through a couple of small alleys to get there. Although it seemed safe and we had no issue whatsoever, we were happy to be a small group to come back together at night.

We LOVED staying with you <3 Riad Shiraz is such a GEM and the breakfast was outstanding! We will definitely come back soon!
