Our 3 teenage children and the grandparents stayed in the house as a family getaway to enjoy the changing colors of the leaves. The house was in excellent condition with all the amenities you could want. The layout was perfect for having grandparents stay with us - there was an ability to get private time away from each other. The vistas were gorgeous. The house is located in an area without road lights so nervous drivers should take note. We loved it and would definitely rent it again.

So important to read the reviews, and Im so glad I did! The place is perfectly situated in the perfect spot to access all the major amenities and activities local to that area of Vermont! My family was there for a wedding and it turned into a favorite mini vacation. Fall in Vermont is so picturesque, and the hot air balloons that flew up over the mountains was like the cherry on top. Audrey is an amazing host, and responds very quickly when you message her. And like the other reviews, the pictures posted are beautiful, but it is so much better in person!! I would definitely recommend this place and If I were to every travel back, I know exactly where I would like to stay!

This property is even more beautiful than the photos. The home has beautiful views and grounds, and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out by the firepit with our kids and grandkids taking in the breathtaking views.

This property was just amazing. The house is actually nicer than the photos on its listing. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the views of the Quechee hills were amazing. We will definitely stay here again. It was fantastic for families.

Lovely house with lots of space for families. Beautiful setting. Great location close to Quechee, Woodstock, Norwich, & WRJ, VT and Hanover, NH. (Ideal for Dartmouth events) Host is very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

My husband and I hosted our grown children to enjoy seeing. the trees changing. We are from Texas, Arizona, Colorado and Tennessee. What a beautiful setting we had for our adventure. Wild turkeys running across the back of the property, privacy, beautiful home and convenience to restaurants and shopping. The home was so beautifully maintained and stocked with the essentials. I cannot say enough nice things to and about our host. It was perfect, the best memory for all of us. Thanks!.

We have stayed at this gorgeous house for three summers now and it is equally amazing each year. Audrey is so easy to work with, the house is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. My kids (3 and 6 this year) love the large lawn. We are every meal on the scenic deck. There’s a nice fire pit. Location is easy to get to all the fun spots in Quechee and Woodstock. Jake’s market five minutes away has all your essentials. Thanks for another perfect vacation!

Simply Fabulous!
The house was amazing and more than what was described. It was peaceful with loads of room to just relax in the natural setting. The house amenities were too numerous to mention in this short space.
Audrey was even more amazing. She communicated in a timely fashion, answered all our questions, and helped to make sure our son and his family could stay an extra 2 days. I'd recommend this property to anyone who wants a peaceful retreat.

We loved this house! It was perfect for our needs. We stayed with another family and it never felt crowded. The house has 3 living rooms so everyone could spread out. The kids loved sledding on the property and we loved the dining table for 10 people! Owners were nice and responsive! Would definitely stay again.

This was a fantastic house with an unbelievable property. We were lucky enough to have snow while there and the kids were able to sled until their hearts content on the property. The attention to detail in this house is beautiful. The fireplace was used every night and plenty of wood was provided. All in all we had a great trip and Thanksgiving there.

Beautiful home in an amazing setting
We had such a wonderful time at this home! I agree with other reviewers that the pictures do not do it justice. The view is really beautiful and expansive. The home itself is pristine, nicely decorated and well laid out. We were four friends getting together who have traveled quite a few places and we all remarked that it is one of the nicest rental homes we have experienced - exceptionally clean and with a modern and fresh feel throughout. It was like being in a hotel but with the conveniences and comfort of a home. The area is lovely and we ventured out to Woodstock and Billings Farm, and The Publick House, with a drive by Quechee Gorge. There is so much to do in the area, we wish we had more than a 4-day weekend! The property is really scenic too. The view is amazing and the stars (not always available to we metro area dwellers) were beautiful. This is a great place to stay to get the best of everything in Vermont!

What a beautiful place! It is hard to say enough great things about this house. The view off the back deck and the whole yard is just gorgeous. We enjoyed a month long stay in August. The house is very well appointed and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The furnishings are very nice. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would want to live for a month. It was an unusually hot August and us Texans were not used to not having central air. So we were uncomfortable for some of the hot days. There are portable a/c units and plenty of fans. Just nit what we were used to. Audrey was very easy to communicate with if we had any questions. She responded in a timely manner and was eager to help if there were any issues. I would highly recommend this beautiful house! We loved it! The only thing that was a little uncomfortable for us was the a/c situation. It was an unusually hot August and there were days where it was not comfortable. We are from Texas and used to central air. So we are not the best ones to But there are a couple of a/c units and plenty of fans but it was hard for us.

Wonderful property. Amazing views out the back into the rolling hills. So close to town but you would never know it. Everything was nicely decorated and most bathrooms updated. Nice chairs and deck out back. So relaxing sitting in the Adirondack chairs in the early evening. Had a turkey walk by one morning. Was a pleasure to stay there.
