Über diese cottageUnterkunft
Gelegen in Woodstock, dieses attraktiv cottage für 276 € pro Nacht ist ein phantastisch Option für Ihr nächstes Urlaub. Befindet sich in 116 Rocky Rd, Bryant Pond, ME 04219

We had a great time at the cabin. We love the lake access and swimming and fishing. It was plenty big enough for our family of 3 plus 1 pet. We would certainly rent again.

Great location, right on the lake. Very convenient for our ice fishing/ski vacation. The camp is very comfortable and cozy.

The cabin is adorable with panoramic views of the lake. I especially loved the loft where there are three comfortable beds under the eaves and more great views of the lake. We got a nice fire going in the fireplace one night and played cards with the kids. It was super easy to get to and from Sunday River and we had no trouble finding the place. Would definitely book again! Kenny was great!

Our family of four plus golden retriever had a wonderful week. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the bald eagle family on the island in front of the cabin!

The view was great. We enjoyed watching the eagles. The bathroom and shower were tiny. We missed a dining room table to eat and gather around. Half the basement was open storage. The value for the money charged simple wasn't there.

We had a blast staying at the cabin. It had everything we needed and Kenny was responsive to any questions we had.

Incredible location!
This is an awesome property, a great place to relax and unplug! It's not luxurious (it's a camp), but there is a very nice private yard and dock. The lakefront is great for swimming; sandy bottom and shallow, crystal clear water (maybe 3ft deep at the end of the dock). Various kayaks and a canoe were available for our use. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, doing a bit of fishing (not catching, unfortunately), and watching the bald eagles nesting on one of the nearby islands. We didn't use it, but there's a nice little firepit area on a hill between the house and the road... maybe next time!

We loved our stay on north pond. The cabin was GREAT for my teenage sons and their friends. The down stairs bunk room gave them room to spread out, and have privacy. The cabin was very comfortable, and the views cannot be beat!!! Coffee on the dock with a book is perfect here.

Kenny’s property is the perfect spot whether you’re traveling with a family, or just a romantic getaway. The floor to ceiling glass windows provide the perfect view no matter the time of day. When we stayed, there were bald eagles nesting in the trees on the pond, which you can get a great view of thanks to the sets of binoculars he has stocked in the cabin.
My boyfriend, pup, as well as myself had an amazing time, as it was the peaceful escape we were looking for!
Thank you, Kenny!!

Kenny’s home was perfect for a winter getaway for our family of four. Loved waking up to the views of the frozen lake. Easy 5min drive to Mt Abram, nice family-friendly mountain for our mix of skill levels, and 20min to Sunday River for some more advanced options. Central, well-supplied kitchen (everything except a dishwasher) makes cooking easy. Given COVID we brought everything with us and ate every meal in. Kids loved bald eagle viewing with the binoculars provided (bonus!) and adventuring onto the frozen lake during a snowstorm. Reliable high-speed internet. The close sleeping quarters in the upstairs loft made it feel extra cozy, especially with lights out and reading lights on. Kids want to return in the summer!

Great place to bring in the new year and enjoy a week of skiing
We loved our time at Kenny's camp and in spite of not having a lot of snow, we had an amazing week! Sunday River did a great job making snow while we were there which helped conditions be so much better than we expected. The house was quite charming - has everything you need to be comfortable and is in a beautiful location. The house fit the 5 of us without a problem, plus a dog, who also enjoyed the house and the location. It did snow while we were there and someone came pretty quickly to shovel the steps and plow the driveway. I highly recommend this home, as long as you know it's truly a camp, not a luxury hotel. We will definitely be back!

Best view on the lake
We had the best week enjoying Kenny's camp. Have grown up on South & North Pond camping at Little Field Beaches every August, but now all grown up with a toddler of my own I was looking for an upgrade from the tent. This blew away our expectations and captured the essence of everything I hold dear to this special area. The soft sandy spot around the docks was everything I hoped for - with added bonuses of the beauty of Buck's Ledge from your float. Week was full of daily paddles to jump off Rock Island and trek to Horseshoe Island and to visit family on the other ponds. Being able to cook, bring our dog and enjoy the living room with floor to ceiling windows of the lake def made this young mom's vacation the most relaxing stay possible. The new porch is awesome too! Hope to be back again.

Just what we needed
Covid has made us leery of out of state travel, so we stayed in state and went 20 minutes north to this sweet little camp. Great stay, water was perfect, islands in the middle of the pond were fun to explore and jump off of. Friendly neighbors. Thanks for a great week!

Exactly as listed and the location was better than pictured. This pond is perfect. The house also had lots of equipment available for going out on the water.

Spectacular View
The cabin is cozy and nicely decorated. It has all the essentials to make a comfortable stay. Love the big cast iron sink in the kitchen. It was so unique and roomy. The most impressive thing about this place is the view. It is magnificent! You can see the water from anywhere in the cabin. We ate every meals on the porch. The water was shallow near the deck. The kids were playing in the water all days. They had a blast! Having a row boat readily available was a big plus. We got to enjoy it together as a family. Lots of memory being made here. This is one of my favorite places. We will definitely be back!

Great location for snowmobiling and ice fishing
Very cozy cabin directly on the lake, located just 30 feet from the waters edge. Spectacular views from all rooms in the house. Only downside is 1 bedroom with queen and 2 twins so not much privacy, there were additional beds in the basement however it appeared not to be a usable space for the winter months

This work out great for our group!
Everyone had some great bonding time with friends.

This is truly a great camp
This is truly a great camp. Camp is the keyword. Not ski in and ski out. Not in suite bathrooms. No cable, only lots of DVDs and videos. The house does have Wi-Fi which is nice. It is fully equipped for cooking and staying in general. If you want the former, this is not the place for you. If you want a rustic, true camp, you will love this property. It is rustic And primitive and in a great location for summer or winter.
Concerning the winter, it is five minutes from Mount Abrams, which by the way is a great and overlooked mountain that is really affordable. It’s about 10 minutes from Bethel and it’s stores and restaurants and it’s about 20 from Sunday River. If you want to finish your ski day and feel like you are in Maine rather than at a ski resort surrounded by skiers, you will like this property..
There is a sleeping loft upstairs that will sleep about four. The living area is fairly small. Then there is a semi unfinished basement that will sleep five. It is ideal for a family of four or five. We had three adults who are relatives, and four kids who are cousins for part of the trip. It was a little tight but quite easy and comfortable given that we are all close. Part of the trip it was just me and my two kids and was very, very comfortable and easy. This is not a place for a romantic weekend for two couples as far as sleeping arrangements go. It would also work well for to close families with five or less kids between the two families.
Kenny was awesome and made things simple. I would definitely stay here again in the summer or winter!

Our third stay at this frozen-lakeside cabin
Two kids and two grown-ups, into skiing. This has been our third Christmas week at this cabin and we'll try to come again. What brings us back is the view of the frozen lake, with little islands with pine trees in the middle, enjoyable at all times of the day through large windows on both floors. There is also a real fireplace and the cabin is picturesque inside and out, not the generic place to sleep. It is very warm. The bathroom is small but adequate; enough hot water for about 3 consecutive showers. The kitchen is adequate for light cooking and heating up food from the supermarket (BTW the Hannaford 15 min away has unexpectedly good food and wine choice, and very good tiramisu). We didn't use the bedroom at the basement. The wi-fi is fast.
The kid-friendly and crowd-free Mt. Abram ski mountain is 10 minutes away -- though they didn't have snow during our stay this time. The bigger Sunday River is 20 min away (tips: do not park at the busy main lot, go to Barkers lodge; have ski lunch at the hotel restaurant right off Loollapalooza trail -- same high prices as in canteens in the lodges, but with service.) Espresso can be found in Bethel at Di Cocoa.

Cozy cabin with a great view
Kenny's cabin was perfect for our weekend skiing at Sunday River. It comfortably accommodated two couples, though there is only 1 loft bedroom with a queen and two twin-sized beds, so privacy was limited. I would happily stay at Kenny's cabin again for my next visit to Sunday River.
Pros: clean, beautiful views of the lake, fully-equipped to cook/ hangout, easy 15-min drive to Sunday River
Cons: lack of privacy for two couples, driveway is slightly sloped so it could be difficult to drive out of in snowy conditions without all-wheel drive

Great location!
The lake was beautiful--what a view! We made use of the canoe and kayaks several times during our stay and they were excellent. The neighborhood was quiet yet we didn't feel isolated. The cottage was well outfitted. It would benefit by a good cleaning as mentioned in a prior review. There was a layer of dust in many spots and a strong musty smell. Bethel and its numerous delicious restaurants was nearby as were many good hiking spots. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful corner of Maine!

The place to relax...
Thanks Kenny for accommodating our stay! We really enjoyed the floating dock and the kayaks. The weather was none the less of perfect and we spent the better part of the days on the lake and hiking to the nearby cliff. I definitely want to stay again! Thanks again for the unforgettable stay.
