The pool.

The faucets. There were no cups in the room.we have to ask for the towels. Electric kettle you have to pay to use it. No remote for the tv. No toiletries.

The pool and the grounds are amazing. The bed is very comfortable, the balcony is beautiful, ac is perfect, amenities in the room are excellent, they have thought of everything: safe, fridge, blow dryer, thermos for takeout, clothesline , lounger and chairs on balcony, snorkeling mask, shoes etc. You even get a complimentary 20 minute massage for every night stay. Breakfast buffet was also excellent with many choices. Wifi is good as well.

There aren’t any restaurants in walking distance, only hotel restaurant.

The Roman Empire Resort on Panglao Island/Bohol: I stayed here in the newly opened Roman Empire Resort on Panglao on Bohol for a couple of days in February 2019. I payed all Bills by my own. Overview: The Roman Empire Resort on Panglao: Roman Empire Resort is an excellent newly opened Resort wirh a awful architecture and with the biggest Pool I have seen in a resort on panglao. For anyone who wishes to stay close to busy and noisy Alona Beach Area but who wants NOT directly in crowdy Alona - they should visit Roman Empire Resort! For someone who would like a very good high level Resort close to Alona Beach area, this is the Resort they have to go and stay and enjoy when you are on Panglao Island on Bohol. The Roman Empire  Resort is nearly perfect for those who seek a  very good quality Resort with not to much rooms and guests and crowdy area. The resort is amazing in it´s style. Unique! Rooms are very accommodating  made in style of the Roman Empire Resort - will give you the feeling of beeing part of the History. Location of the   Roman Empire Resort : Roman Empire Resort is close to ALONA (maybe 13 Minutes walking distance to Alona area, but a owned Shuttle from the Resort will bring you there – if you like). Roman Empire is in a very quite area, peaceful and very comfortable. Airport panglao is only 8 minutes away using the taxi. Food: The breakfast will be served every morning to the guests. Very delicious breakfast. Price for lunch or dinner is very valuable from the service you get. The kitchen style of cooking also includes european style of meals, not only asian style  – so delicious! Pool: A really nicely shaped and and clear swimming pool within the Resort. A lot of lounge chairs are there too. Enjoy the stay and swimming!! Also a kids pool there. The deph and length if the huge Pool is deph enough for me. Maximum deph is 2,60 I think.

Not much.. besides the very nice employees.

I was dumbfounded to see that the kitchen and bar was already closed by 9 pm. I hadn’t eaten dinner and wanted to eat dinner at the hotel but ended up not eating anything at all. And then, I checked the fridge for any drinks but there was nothing, not even a minibar besides some tea. There was only water in tumblers, which that alone wasn’t enough. Lastly, I found the bathroom unpractical.
