- Obwohl über booking.com das ganze Anwesen gebucht wird und kein Hinweis zu finden ist, dass der Preis für eine begrenzte Anzahl von Gästen gilt, mussten wir für Freunde aus Harare, die im Anwesen übernachtet haben extra zahlen. - Nur bedingte Privatsphäre, da viele andere Personen mit auf dem Anwesen.

The lodge is spacious allowing space for both adults and children. We made a last minute reservation and were thrilled the manager had poultry for sell and the place is conveniently located near a Spa shop.

There’s a limit to the hot water supply , we had to restrict the size of our baths.

Big rooms with comfy beds that's it!

Please may the owner read and act on reviews!!!! I used this same house last year and left feedback and got an apology. I booked again this year hoping things had changed. They hadn't. A male member of staff came to open the gate. He then vanished into a room in the building on the Left. On knocking and calling he refused to come out. I wanted him to accompany me as there was a large loose dog barking. A female then came out and accompanied after I had said I would complain about them. There is no hot water The showers don't work. WiFi was not topped up!

1. Proximity to Airport. 2. Met on arrival. 3. Breakfast was worth the US$5 per person extra.

1. A less than friendly barking dog sometimes roaming the grounds. 2. One of the three toilets did not flush at all (handle spins). 3. The other two toilets ran continuously after the cistern was full. 4. Lack of hot water and little water pressure. 5. No basic provisions or welcome pack (e.g. tea bags, milk, coffee). 6. No bedside lights in any bedroom. 7. One of the four bedrooms had no lights at all! 8. No towels on arrival (sorted after we mentioned it). 9. No instructions for TV (so only found two channels). 10. WiFi costing US$10 per day is unacceptable in 2023 (but partly my fault as I missed this when booking). 11. But the worst and most dangerous thing was a socket which came away from the wall when one guest removed a phone charger plug! However, with a little more attention to detail and plumbing/electrical repairs the property could be a good value venue for groups or families staying in Harare.

The location from airport very convenient. Every thing was clean. Cooked breakfast by one of the caretakers, who set up everthing nice (but we had to go grocery shopping to get the food and bottled water). Spacious rooms allowed us to welcome our in country hosts who picked us up at the airport and took us grocery shopping.

There was no hot water for shower or bathing. I called out for the caretaker as instructed, but no answer, even when I knocked on his door.The water was also turned off to a halfbath room, and its light was not working. I felt as though they were not ready for us. We also paid extra for wifi, but there was no internet connection. This place was a self catering house, but the lack of preparation of the utilities was not right. Especially after flying 21 hours and ready for a hot shower, which was not to be. The information about breakfast was not clear. The instructions on line said breakfast could be ordered for $5 a person. But it did not clarify that guests still had to bring food for the breakfast. The $5 was for the cook to come into the kitchen, prepare the food, set the dining table and clean up, which was nice. This was my first time to Zimbabwe and i picked this place because the hotel I wanted stay was booked full. This residence is for local people familiar with local customs. My in country hosts told me that this house was a self catering house, a term which should be on the website. Not a good option for USA people needing a place to stay and who do not have a car.
