BACKHOME BOUTIQUE Old Town Hoi An

Great location, the staff were amazing, happy, friendly, helpful. The whole hotel was very clean. In over 15 trips to Hoi An, this hotel has the most comfortable beds, and amazing shower with lots of hot water. The price was very reasonable, I know it is wet season and very quite, but for the quality, the price was very good.

It’s not really about the property, but I am not a fan of Asian breakfasts, thats just the westerner in me! The staff at breakfast were very accommodating.

The breakfast was better than expected, other than the coffee. Coffee was awful. Big buffet with eggs ti order and PEANUT BUTTER. Its somewhat close to old town area but at least a 10 minute walk to anything substantial.

The beds and rooms in general were well below average. Reminds you of summer camp. Which in turn attracts the loud and obnoxious young travelers who like yo have full on conversations in the room before 8am. The staff arent very friendly and the check in and check out process lacks a lot of personality and ‘above and beyond’ service that makes a big difference. The bathrooms were bad as well and for some reason there is open space in all the bathrooms on all floors that goes into the rooms so you can hear everything that goes on in the bathrooms while in your bed.
