Getting to meet the host doesn't happen very often anymore but it was so nice to meet Mario when collecting the keys. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the old town but far enough away from the bars to get a good night's sleep.

There are quite a few steps up to the apartment, which may make it more difficult to access for some.

We've had an amazing time at Center 23, and the apartment has got all the amenities one would need for a self-catered stay. The apartment is located in one of the ancient buildings that make up the Old Town of Zagreb. Due to its historic setting, the existence of multiple sets of stairs is rather unavoidable, but this didn't bother us at all - quite to the contrary, it defined the apartment's quirky uniqueness. Mario, our host, was really supportive and friendly, and was quick to respond to any queries we've had - thanks again, Mario, for your having let us stay at your wonderful apartment, we hope to come back soon.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the old town. The apartment is well equipped and feels very homely. I would recommend it to everyone. The host is very welcoming and friendly. Thank you!

Great location. Cosy and comfortable.

Toilet became blocked and ongoing issue with owners asking us to assist ie purchasing sodium bicarbonate and vinegar. Took much of our time on a very short stay. Was not resolved before we left and too much concern for next guests and not us. Even asked us to pay to be fixed
