Das Apartement ist 2010 gebaut worden, befindet sich in der unmittelbaren Nähe der historischen Andrassy Strasse mit der Opera, des Oktogon am großen Ring und des beliebten Franz Liszt Platz mit seiner einmaligen Ambiente und seinen diversen Bars und Restaurants. Das Szechenyi Bad, Europas größte Bäderkomplex ist auch nur ein paar U-Bahnstationen entfernt. Das Apartment liegt zu Fußdistanz zum Westbahnhof, woher weitere naheliegende Städte schnell erreicht werden können. Das Szondi Apartment ist ideal für alle, die Budapest erkunden wollen, historische Ambiente mit guter Verkehrsverbindung suchen und das rege Caféhausleben der Stadt von der unmittelbaren Nähe erleben wollen.

Of all the apartments we stayed in, this one had the best kitchen equipment ever. It would have been a pleasure to cook there, but we were too lazy and went out all the time. Which was easy because of the central location – short walks to good restaurants. Also only seven minutes by foot to the train station.
As tram, metro, and bus stops are also close by, it was very easy to get to more remote attractions, too.
The apartment was big, very nice for the three adults we were. As it's on the fourth floor, there is enough light coming in even though all windows give to the courtyard.
Check-in/-out where smooth and perfectly described by Mária.

This is such a cool place, a hidden gem on a main, busy street of Budapest. The communication of the host is stellar, and so we’re the self-check in instructions with step by step photos for help. Amazing and easy! Very clean, comfortable, convenient and even a gift of a bottle of wine awaiting our arrival. The host also left an info binder with very helpful suggestions on their favorite places nearby to eat. We tried several of them! Parking is tricky in general in Budapest, but the host helped us navigate that with our rental car as well.
I loved entering the courtyard and the apartment each evening after a long day of touring.

We loved the apartment. It was spacious, clean, stylish and very well equipped. It was a very quiet, safe area but still walkable to tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants. We especially appreciated the host’s manual that provided extremely useful information and recommendations. I highly recommend the apartment.

This property was in a great location, close to all of the attractions, cafes and restaurants we wanted to visit. It was also very clean and well-maintained. The owner was responsive and helpful, and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay.
The property was located in a central location nearby Oktogon and Nyugati Station and walking distance to tram 4 and 6, which runs 24/7.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was great, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the owner was responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

The apartment was well-located near the Oktogon transit stop. It appears to be a newly renovated flat in a building with some other apartments that are also being re-done while others looked empty. We loved the ease of getting around and the building has its own gritty charm. Air conditioning was much appreciated since it was in the upper 90’s during our stay. We did not use the kitchen much other than coffee and microwave but it is well-appointed with lots of dishes, pans, cutlery and spices. The welcome bottle of wine was lovely.
Elevator is small like most in Europe. We used the stairs up to the 4th floor most of the time. It was more quiet at night than I expected considering it is close to Terez, a major road.
I am happy I chose this for our stay.
Our group was myself (mom) and two young adult sons. They did go out a couple of nights and felt totally safe. I myself felt safe walking in the daytime and no concern when we got home late together.

Lovely spacious apartment in quiet block. The manager responded quickly to any messages and sent detailed check in photos which made the process very straight forward once we’d found the right road as when I copied and pasted the address into Apple Maps we were on the next road. Lots of lovely and thoughtful touches in the apartment to make us feel very welcomed. The wifi was good downstairs and the twin room but struggled in the double bedroom. The air con was great and really needed! An additional blackout blind in the main bedroom would be good. Overall a great apartment in a relatively central place given how large the city is. Would recommend and stay again.

This comfortable apartment was a perfect 8-day home for our party (three 70+ friends of different genders). We liked having two toilets separate from the bath, and the kitchen was remarkably well equipped— even a teapot for Irish/Scottish oldies! But we didn’t cook much, as the neighbourhood offered wonderful restaurants and cafes, as well as convenient public transport options taking us anywhere we wanted to go. It’s a fabulous place to stay, with a charming, helpful hostess.

Great location as it’s just a 10 minute walk to the Nyugati train station for international trains.
FYI - the flat has 2 half baths and 1 bath w/ a tub & a vanity sink, so no full bath.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Communication with property manager was excellent and we had no issues finding or getting in. It was spacious, had a well appointed kitchen, lovely bathrooms, and a comfortable bed. Great location with many restaurants and sights. We would not hesitate to stay at this lovely property again.

Exactly as billed, with great communication from Maria. Loved the airy feel, comfortable bed and windows upstairs that opened. Incredibly well -equipped kitchen. And out the door, Pest was right there — Parliament, Jewish Quarter, the main shopping streets. (And we found the Bolt taxis wonderfully efficient, often arriving within 1-2 minutes.) We will be back the next time we visit Budapest. Matt and Kim.

This apartment was perfect for a family of four. Two bathrooms were wonderful and having a functional kitchen was perfect. We found the location in the city to be excellent. Near two metro stations that we used quite a bit and one of the major train stations. Still within reasonable walking distance to Parliament and the Basilica. Would highly recommend for a mobile, active family who doesn't mind a bit of walking or stairs. Loved the Cosy Cafe across the street and also Indigo Indian a few blocks away. Great from start to finish!

First of all, Maria the host is very nice and greeted us at the apartment to show us everything we need. The flat is very quiet and only minutes away from busses. It’s also a walking distance to the Budapest Train station. The flat got everything you need for a nice stay.
Bonus tip: there is a MCD inside the fancy old Train station building right next to the actual train depot,

Our hostess Maria was bombarded with questions when we arrived which she answered with great patience and clarity. The 2 separate toilets and tub/ shower room works very well for a larger group. We made a few great dinners in a kitchen which had everything we needed (often not the case with some places). The elevator was a blessing and all in all it is a great place to hang your hat in Budapest.

Great Pest Side Budapest Apartment.
This is a great property that is centrally located on the Pest Side. You can easily walk to most of the sites on the Pest Side. Close to public transportation. If you plan on cooking this is one of the best equipped kitchen we have seen. The only thing you need to be aware of is the stairs to the bedrooms are a little steep and curve. If your have a major problem with stairs think twice about renting this apartment.
Everything else was great. Maria was great in communicating with us and flexible on arrival and departure times. The beds were very comfortable, firm without being hard.

Schöne und zentral gelegene Wohnung
Wir (2 Erw. und 1 Kind) hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Márias Wohnung. Buchung und Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin liefen reibungslos. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen, die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar und trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig in der Wohnung. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt (inkl. Verbrauchsmaterialien), es ist sehr sauber und dank der Klimaanlagen angenehm temperierbar. Bei Fragen hat die Vermieterin immer schnell geantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiter.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for us. It was just what we were looking for and was actually even nicer than the photos. Great location being only a few blocks from the M1 metro line, a main tram line as well as Andrassy Ut. It was very quiet and I felt safe there. The apartment was spotless when we arrived which we really appreciated.
It was unseasonably warm when we were in Budapest so the air conditioning was an added bonus. We didn't realize that we were going to need that in mid-October!
Maria was very helpful with information, maps, restaurant recommendations, even ordering us a taxi to get to the airport. Maria even had bottles of water and Hungarian snacks waiting for us when she met us at the apartment.
Our one big disappointment? That we were only there for 4 days. Wish we could have stayed longer.
If ever we return to lovely Budapest, this will be our first call!

It was within walking distance of transit, a cute little bistro for breakfasts and the grocery store. The property manager was responsive when the elevator was acting up. It was fixed in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend this place and would return myself.

Very good apartment
This two bedroom duplex apartment was perfect for me. It was well appointed, comfortable and within easy walking distance of many of Budapest’s attractions. It was also conveniently close to Nyugati train station for my onward journey. And close to the WestEnd City Centre shopping mall where I was able to get a Hungarian SIM for my phone. Maria was very kind, welcoming and courteous. I would happily recommend this apartment.

Tipp für den GELERT. Mit der Straßenbahn Nr.6 bis Endstation, dann Bus 27 den Berg hinauf.

Perfekte Ferienwohnung für den Budapest-Urlaub
Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub in Budapest verbracht und sind sehr froh, dass wir Marias Wohnung gemietet haben. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, viele interessante Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants sind gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt, sie ist liebevoll und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Küche ist wirklich gut ausgestattet, ausreichend Geschirr, Töpfe, Küchengeräte...
Der Clou ist die kleine Dachterrasse, auf der wir sowohl unser Frühstück eingenommen haben als auch nach unseren Ausflügen in den lauen Nächten noch draußen sitzen konnten.
Das Haus ist ruhig, hat einen schönen Innenhof.
Maria ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, die uns persönlich in Empfang genommen hat, uns alles gezeigt hat und jede Frage beantwortet hat.
Wir waren rundum zufrieden und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Danke, liebe Maria, und wenn wir wieder nach Budapest kommen, dann auf jeden Fall wieder zu Ihnen!

Schöne Wohnung in Budapest!
Wir waren im Juli 2017 in Budapest und haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung sehr genossen.
Die Wohnung liegt fußläufig zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geschäften in der Nähe.
Die Umgebung um das Haus überrascht zunächst, aber das Gebäude mit dem Innenhof ist sehr schön und gut gesichert. Die Wohnung ist sauber, ruhig gelegen und mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet, beispielsweise die Küche mit Geschirr und Verbrauchsartikeln (z. B. Spültabs). Parken am Haus ist wegen der Parkgebühren nur am Wochenende sinnvoll, aber Frau Mészáros hat viele gute Tipps für diese Stadt, so auch für günstiges Parken. Vielen Dank für die nette Aufnahme und die immer umgehende Erreichbarkeit!

Geräumig und zentral gelegen
Eine super Wohnung, genügend Platz für 6 Erwachsene. Mit allem bestückt. Sauber, ruhig und trotzdem mitten in der Stadt gelegen. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die bei allen Fragen sehr hilfsbereit ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
