I loved it so much! The yard was the perfect outdoor space. Loved that we were within walking distance to everywhere! And the neighbors were very nice. The perfect spot! Mark was so helpful. A great guy!

We had a great time. What started out as a girls trip (mothers and daughters) became a momm & adult kids trip when my friend got sick and they couldn’t go. The only thing I would tell someone to be aware of is that the pull out couch downstairs is kid sized. We had a good laugh when my 6’2” son took the downstairs to sleep. The back yard was nice and it had laundry facilities. I don’t know if the service that supplies linens leaves any for the pull out beds because we couldn’t find any. But there were extra blankets he was able to use. I’d stay again regardless due to its location. And Mark and Mark were both easy to work with and to communicate with. Thank you Mark and Mark!

The property manager communicated everything to us and was available throughout our stay. The house is in conveniently location, clean, spacious, and a great value for Avalon.

We had a lovely time on Catalina. The house suited us perfectly. Our 3 year old daughter loved then back yard and we appreciated the sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas that came with the house. Mark was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure the house had everything we needed and that we connected with the unique history of Avalon.

Great property, the yard was so amazing to enjoy the mornings and evenings. Even though the hurricane cut our trip short we’d definitely come back again soon! Thanks for the lovely stay!

Great little house for family vacation. Grand kids loved it and the sleeping arrangements were spot on.The yard with bbq was a nice addition. Toilets were sluggish, but we were able to clear them out! Good instructions and all went smoothly. Thank you to Mark!

Perfect beach condo with a large backyard, washer and dryer, beach towels, toys, chairs, beach umbrellas, even a few wetsuits! Two bedrooms upstairs with a little nook with a kids foam couch perfect for a kid or two small kids, downstairs had a pull out couch and a pull out loveseat. Vons is two blocks over and the condo is two blocks up from the beach. Great location! Hope to be back soon!

Mark contacted me prior to arrival with easy instructions. The home was small, furnishings outdated.. but water was hot & beds were comfortable. I recommend spending a few bucks to buy a Kuerig coffee machine. BTW, We couldn’t find the garbage disposal switch…

House was clean, good communication with the owner. The house is very close to restaurants, beach and grocery store !House has everything you need and enjoyed the complimentary beach chairs and towels! Recommend to families, couples or anyone who wants to visit Catalina island.

Close to the center of town and home was fully equipped with what we needed. Communication with management was excellent.

We loved the location and the house was very comfortable. The only thing that we had an issue with was finding enough outlets for charging phones. Queen bedroom outlet closest to door did not work. A charging station/ multiple outlet would be a big plus. Also a light over the dining table would be helpful for playing games. Not complaints, but suggestions that would improve the experience. Overall a great experience.

This house is perfect for a group of 5. It had a nice backyard and the inside was so clean and cute. You literally only had to bring your clothes this house had everything you would need to have a nice vacation. We are going to book it again for next year. Loved this place. Just the right amount of space for a group of 4-6, well-lit, and cute. The beds are quite comfortable. Mark was very helpful as well. It’s worth noting that there are only two bedrooms—one with a bed plus a small futon—and a small daybed in the living room; the description online was slightly misleading.

Recently returned to Catalina after getting engaged there 20 years ago, and found ourselves asking "what took us so long to come back?" Our family of 3 (including one teen) found this little home to be a great base of operations for our 3 night/4 day stay. The location really is perfect: close enough to walk to town, and with a grocery store only 3 blocks away, but just far enough outside the main zone to be much more quiet. It was easy to pop in and out of the house during the day if we wanted a break or left something behind. We chose to take a taxi to and from the ferry for $14 (readily available at the ferry dock and by phone), but you could walk it comfortably with smaller bags. The layout of the home was very good: 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, and a 3/4 bath and common areas downstairs. As an older home, it has the typical ideosyncracies (including a comically low sink and toilet in the downstairs bath). The small, privacy-fenced backyard off the LR was a nice surprise, as I don't recall it being pictured. We had great weather and sat outside every day for coffee and happy hour. Apart from the location, the best asset is the on-island property manager, Mark T., who was friendly, helpful, laid back and flexible. I just knew that if we'd had an issue it would've been resolved immediately. Overall, this home is tidy, functional, perfectly located and well-managed. We have already promised ourselves to return, and will definitely stay here again!

Overall the property was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking, relaxing, and having a good nights sleep. The back yard was nice and relaxing. The neighborhood was very nice and felt safe. Plus an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. There were a few issues. The TV was small and difficult to reach national TV channels. The movies were very nice. The screen to the slider door to the back yard was broken and wouldn't lock, the laundry room was outside and very dusty. We needed to clean the room and the machines before we could use them It would be helpful to have round hand rails to assist in going up and down the stairs. It was very hard to grip the current rails, and feel safe carrying things up and down the stairs. . We felt very lucky to have stayed in this home.

We all had a great time on a couples trip to Catalina Island. The location was super close for walking to everything. The owner was great at communicating everything ahead of check in. We hope to be back and bring more people to experience this island soon!

Three of us stayed here before a race. This house had plenty of space to relax and hangout. We loved the location. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable. My only complaint would be that the pullout sleeper chair downstairs had a pretty worn and thin mattress. We found that sleeping on the couch was much more comfortable.

Excellent property and convenient location. Mark was very accommodating when we needed to stay an additional night because ferry service was canceled.

This town home is located within a walking distant from all the important locations that you might need: Vons, gold cart rentals, the beach and the beautiful down town strip. Everything needed is inside the house and it has a charming small backyrad.. the property manager is very helpful and friendly. Also he contacted me prior to arrival with plenty of information. The place can easy accommodate 6 adults, with 2 sharing two queen beds plus Two couches turns into beds.

The house is super convenient and close ti everything is a perfect place for 5-6 people we enjoy and have fun and mark is super nice and flexible and the communication whit him is perfect!

Perfect for us! 3 Seniors. Short 2 block walk to pier, beach, restaurants. All amenities were just right! Our location helped visiting our family there an exceptional experience!

This little house was perfect for my stay in Avalon. Well decorated and very, very clean. Nice-sized back yard with lighting, grill, and table / chairs. Two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs, one bathroom with shower downstairs, plus a pull-out sofa. Very close to most attractions. The kitchen was the one drawback--dated with old cabinets and counters. The stove, however, worked very well (gas), and the refrigerator freezer was clean and a good size. (No dishwasher). Full sized washer / dryer in a shed in the backyard, quite handy for all my laundry. No AC, but open windows and fans cooled the place down nicely. Heat was available but I didn't need it (early October). For those with mobility issues: There are three steps, with no ramp, to access the front door, though there is a wall to hold on to. There are three steps down, with no ramp and no handrails at all to access the back yard. However, there is no need to go to the second floor to stay here--there is a foldout sofa bed and a long, very comfortable sofa in the living room, and the bathroom downstairs has a full shower, toilet and vanity. No grab bars in any of the bathrooms. The location was great. Very close walk to Vons (Safeway) for supplies and food, or a slightly longer walk (I'd say five minutes) to Front Street (Crescent) and all the restaurants and shops there. I ate out almost every night, and it was easy walking to and from the restaurants. Once home, the neighborhood was very quiet. The house's manager was easily accessible via phone and answered questions without a problem. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. Recommend this place for a comfortable visit to Avalon in a good location.

Had a great time with friends and our kids. Was easy to find and get into town. Very comfortable beds and Spacious with having four teenagers in the house

Great location, close to beach, restaurants, and Vons. Very quiet. Kitchen had everything except large frying pans. Overall would highly recommend!
