The location of the property was perfect for our needs, and the full kitchen was an added bonus. Eli was very prompt in responding to inquiries, which made the stay easy.

Great location. Clean and well set up, with a comfortable couch.

Property was easy to find and clean. We were not there too much, only to sleep. When we had a problem with the internet, Eli helped solve it right away.

This is a great location, walkable and quiet. Also, if you want to cook your meals, the kitchen is well equipped and very nice. Strong WiFi connection too, if you need a little WFH time! We enjoyed our stay very much.

We enjoyed our stay on this property. The main attraction of the property for us was the proximity to the center of Davis and our son’s family. We could walk to nearly everything of interest. We would have to describe the living quarters as comfortable for two individuals during our 10-day stay. We have stayed in these types of units many times and suggest that the property could benefit from some attention to detail.
We found the place to be clean, but there were things that should have been attended to, especially in this COVID-19 world. The shower, for example, had large containers of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (which we did not use), a partially used bar of soap, and a bath shower loofah sponge. In our opinion, these items should not be in a rental of this type; a brand new bar of soap should have been provided. The kitchen could also have benefited from some attention to detail. Some consumables were left in the cabinets and there was ice cream in the freezer; there was also a gallon of what looked like sun tea in a plastic container sitting on the porch. There was an odd assortment of pots and pans available but most lacked lids and were not microwave safe. There were surprisingly few (2-3) and unmatched glasses, coffee cups and bowls.
The WiFi was so poor as to be nonfunctional, especially during the day. Luckily we were able to tap into an Xfinity hotspot that had better functionality.
Other small things to consider:
There was a cracked drinking glass in the kitchen cabinet.
One kitchen cabinet door would not close all the way because of the plates (which were not excessively large plates).
The handle on the bedroom door with access to the balcony was missing; to open the door one had to unlock it from the inside and open the door using the knob on the outside.
There was a rusty old window screen laying on its side on the porch.
Seating on the balcony was limited to three worn and rickety folding chairs.
The lower part of the bathroom window sill was detached from its base.
There was a large tear in the fabric on the sofa (covered by pillows).

Perfect one bedroom apartment over a garage, walking distance to downtown Davis area.

Best part of this place is its location. It's a few blocks walk from downtown, really convenient. Aside from that it's a small but clean and well kept 1 bedroom. The kitchen is nice, but the eating area is a breakfast counter, so it'd be perfect for an adult or couple that wants to do some cooking, but don't expect to have a family meal. Couch / living room area is comfy. The fold out couch is fine, but if anyone is planning to sleep on it, be aware that the one bathroom is in the master suite, so you need to go through the bedroom to get to it. I put my kids in the bedroom, slept on the fold out couch, and kept my toothbrush at the kitchen sink, but I'd much more recommend this place (as the description says) for 1 or 2 adults. One additional caveat---the whole place is up a flight of stairs, so it's best for agile people :)
During my stay the owners came back to stay at the larger house next door and were super nice, accommodating and helpful. Definitely reach out to them if anything isn't perfect as they're really nice.

My girlfriend and I stayed here while visiting family in the Davis area. The space was clean and comfortable. It was within easy walking distance of downtown but far enough to be away from the bustle. The full kitchen was a nice bonus. Small things like water pressure were great. All-in-all there's nothing I can say as a detriment to the property. If we're ever back in the area this property would be at the top of our list.

This is a beautiful property that is two blocks from downtown Davis – close to stores, bars, the farmers market, not to mention walking distance to the university. The property is extremely clean and, cool and well lit. I am the kitchen and living space is wide open so it does not feel cramped at all. We frequent Davis from the East Coast quite often, and I am Certain this is our favorite place.

Rooms were spacious and bed very comfortable. A pleasure to enjoy the outdoors on the balcony. We admired the Craftsman style wood trim and doors. Tastefully decorated with original art. Daylight may be best time to find the property and operate locks and security.Excellent location. Two coffee shops within walking distance and downtown area a stone's throw away. A great introduction to the pulse of Davis!

We just stayed here to visit friends in Davis. It was clean, and stocked. Its a great place to stay, if you are getting your kid off to collage, or for graduation. I cooked a full Thanksgiving meal here! It has a washer and dryer, which was helpful. The bed was a bit small for 2 people, but we made it work.I'd stay here again, if I were in the area.
