We stayed here for a family vacation with all adults and small dogs. Once you've seen the picture, I don't need to tell you how good the location is. The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of room for cooking full meals. It's on the second floor along with the main living room so the elevator was very handy for bringing in supplies. Be sure to follow the posted instructions. The second (smaller) living room on the first floor was nice for people who wanted a quieter place to chill. We needed clarification on the check in process and the property manager was very responsive. Agree with other reviews that the house could use a little TLC but overall it is very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Issues during our stay:
1)The email body and PDF attachment contain different phone numbers and check-in instructions. These need to be updated to match
2)The sheets are not on the bed, you have to do that yourself. After traveling and unloading, no one wants to make a handful of beds
3)There is a picture of a foosball table on the posting, but it’s not in the house. This was a major reason why we chose this house over other comparable ones
4)It rained pretty heavily for part of our stay, and there were multiple leaks that we had to attend to
5)It flooded while we were there, causing sand and a fence to block the elevator door on the ground level. I asked the management company if someone would be coming to address the issue prior to us checking out. I was told that, due to “road blockages and the holiday” the maintenance company wouldn’t be able to clear the debris from in front of the elevator. The roads were reopened on Tuesday, we didn’t check out until Saturday, and the holiday wasn’t until Monday. What if we would’ve had an urgent issue that really did need to be tended to?
6)There was food left behind in the fridge and cabinets, moldy coffee grounds in the coffee machine, dirty dishes in the cabinets, and broken/rusted kitchen accessories
7)The shower curtains have mildew on them, the couches are dingy and need to be cleaned/replaced.

The floorplan is fantastic, location is perfect and view is to die for. Some tweaks and this place would be amazing!

The property was a great spot, beautiful views, and roominess for our group. However, we entered to dirty floors, sliders with finger/handprints and smudges and food in fridge/freezer. We then found several wine and champagne glasses had caked on greasy fingerprints like they were not clean. Lots of dust on fans, walls and under beds. We also had to make our beds which was not mentioned anywhere in description. The house needs a deep clean.

We had a wonderful time at this house! Great spaces for everyone from 30 - 80+ years old. The elevator was key for the seniors. It's very close to restaurants, the grocery and shopping too. I could live on the porch! Such a lovely home!

This was a great spot for 6 adults and 6 kids. Beachfront, spacious, clean, well equipped kitchen. Couldn't have asked for more!

Can’t say enough good things about this property. We came with 14 adults and had room for all of us comfortably. We had an electrical issue caused by a storm at check-in - the host responded immediately by phone and had someone sent out to mitigate the issue. Our group will be booking the house again next year!

We truly enjoyed out stay. House was perfect! We all loved the open kitchen/living area. It was close to the beach, Coots, gas, and grocery stores. There was plenty of parking for our vehicles and the LSV's we rented for our stay. We did have to make sure we closed all blinds and curtains at night because of the turtles, but the underneath lights were fine and could be left on with no distraction to the turtles. I did need to get more sheets but the cleaning staff took care of that and were super nice to interact with. The elevator was a plus, but you must read the directions in order for it to work smoothly, any problems we had were with someone not completely closing both doors. The second floor deck was spacious and the furniture was great for relaxing. The futon on the 3rd floor isn't the best for sleeping, as I had a different idea of what the futon would be. Over all it was the perfect place for my group. We had perfect weather. and enjoyed our stay tremendously. When planning out next trip I will definitely keep this house at the top of my list. Thanks again for the use of the house, the ease of renting, and the prompt communication when needed. I would highly recommend this house for your Edisto vacation.

Great place with plenty of room and beautiful beachfront views!! Really enjoyed a relaxing week with our family and would definitely recommend this home to others looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay at the beach. PS the elevator was a life saver!!!

this house was great for our family of 13 to stay in - youngest was 13 and oldest was 74. the freedom to walk to the beach, grocery store and shops was such a gift. we enjoyed lots of time at the beach while also enjoying the views from the balconies.

House is great, property manager super. The refrigerator went bad on day one but was replaced with a new one the very next day. While there you must take an eco boat tour with Captain Meg @ Botany Bay Eco Tours! So interesting and full of facts! The highlight of our week! Loved everything!

We had an excellent stay at this property. The house has amazing ocean views and beautiful interior design. It was so relaxing to fall asleep listening to the waves crashing down at night. All of the beds and couches were very comfortable. Something worth noting is that the beds weren’t made upon arrival. Clean sheets were left on top of the beds for you to make. This was kind of a bummer since we had a very long drive down from Massachusetts with small children and the last thing I wanted to do was make beds. However, it was nice to know that the sheets were clean! Washer and dryer were convenient and complimentary tide pods and dryer sheets were a great touch! The kitchen has plenty of seating at the island as well as the dining table. There is a pantry to store items. Grocery store is within close walking distance as well as a gas station. A beach bar with outdoor seating and gift shop is located a few steps away. My only concern was that the covered deck on the second level (off of the kitchen) seemed to be missing a lower wire which made me nervous with our 2 and 3 year olds going out there. It wasn’t a very large gap but we have small children and they could have potentially fit through the opening. Overall though, this house was even nicer than I was expecting. The beach is great, house is gorgeous, furniture is comfortable. I would enthusiastically recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

The property is beautiful and the location is perfect. We had a range of ages there, teens, young adults and my elderly mom and it was perfect for everyone.
On the day of travel I didn’t get a chance to check my messages. I worked all day then drove hours to get to the location. When I got up the next day to do laundry the washing machine was filled with water and would not drain. The management company did message me the day of travel but I missed the message. I packed as if the washing machine was working. I reached out to them to let them know about the washing machine and we exchanged many messages. They couldn’t get anyone out to fix it for the entire week of our stay and they were not willing to bring us clean linens and towels. We had our adult kids comping and going do to job schedules and my elderly, Alzheimer’s, incontinent mom was coming half way through the trip so, you could see the need for clean linens. I was told even if they could get someone to bring us linens that we would be charged for them. WHY??? It’s not my fault that the washing machine is broken and like I had mentioned I packed as if it were. KWI was the rudest, most unprofessional management company I’ve ever dealt with. It definitely made the trip challenging for sure. I will admit that I made a mistake when booking and accidentally put one guest instead of 10 even more reason to have had a working washing machine.

Our family had a wonderful spring break vacation at this beach home! Absolutely stunning views and so close to the beach! Everything was clean and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipt with great cookware and appliances. We would definitely recommend and stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home.

This was one of the best places I’ve rented in a while! Very private, everyone fit in comfortably, STUNNING views, nice Managment, would recommend 11 out of 10!

Very clean and beautiful home! You can literally go to sleep listening to the waves. Lots of space, Large kitchen, comfortable areas!
Small hiccup checking in. The lockbox had a dead battery and did not open. Called the after hours number as it was 9:00pm. Somebody called back in 20 mins which i found acceptable for the time of night!

The house was beautiful and spacious! I’ve never stayed in a house so close to the ocean! It was the perfect family getaway in a house that could easily accommodate my entire family. We will be staying here again. (Hopefully soon). The cleaning crew had quit the day before we were to arrive, they called me to let me know the day of our arrival. I was expecting the worst and was surprised to find that the house wasn’t as clean as it should have been but not nearly as bad as what I had thought it would be. They did manage to get clean linens for us before our arrival and refunded our cleaning fee.

This is a beautiful newer home with nice floors, countertops, decor, and furniture. Very spacious and comfortable.
Only a few minor problems…one shower curtain had a lot of mildew and needs to be replaced. One shower drain was very slow and needs to be unclogged. We saw three roaches—one dead on the third floor, one in a bedroom, and one in the kitchen pantry closet.
Overall, we loved this house and would definitely stay here again.

The location and beach were amazing. The house was not ready when we arrived, and the company did give us a small refund for our inconvenience, but overall the house was not as clean as it should have been, the refrigerator for a large group was small, and the elevator did not work for the entirety of our stay which was difficult for my husband who uses crutches. The maintenance man was out once to fix it, and it worked while he was there but because the doors are warped the safety latches do not catch, and it will or operate. We loved the location and definitely want to retur

Our stay was for a three generation family gathering. Booking with VRBO was easy, the rental company communicated well with us, the property location was PERFECT, the size fit our needs wonderfully allowing everyone their own private space, the main Livingroom-Kitchen-Dining area was comfy, well supplied and views of the ocean. Edisto is a wonderful town with restaurants, shops and grocery store all in walking distance. We look forward to making this an every year vacation.

Awesome location with no more than a couple minute walk to grocery & liquor store, restaurants, local shops, etc. Home has a functional layout with great community living spaces, good sleeping arrangements with en suite bathrooms, great decks, tremendous views/sounds, beach access, etc. We're very happy with our booking and very much enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again. Overall, deserving of five starts.
That said, cleanliness of living room and deck spaces left something to be desired. We had a crawling1-year-old with us; very evident that rug and furniture hadn't been vacuumed in some time, tuffs of dog hair were present on floor and on furniture (in both living room and deck furniture). Also, it was disappointing to find out that, while this home was touted as being child-friendly, it wasn't actually set up to accommodate an infant (lack of crib/Pack-n-Play, high chair, etc.). We purchased a booster seat-style high chair and Pack-n-Play and "donated it" to the home for future guests to use (hopefully the management company leaves it there!). Nice Stay in Edisto Island

If you are looking for a stilted house on a beach I cant imagine it gets better than this. The location is top notch, the people in the town are super friendly the beach is clean, and its quiet.
I would book this location again, however, the beds were not very sturdy. If you have plus sized guests keep that in mind. We had couples sleeping apart thru the week due to this. There were several couches for sleeping that were acceptable so no one had to sleep on the floor. There was a piece of furniture on the 3rd floor balcony broken, and the twin sized bunks were unusable as most of the supporting wooden pieces under the mattress were broken. Also a couple chairs for the kitchen table are loose. These would be Easy fixes and nothing that ruined our week.
I will say the elevator worked like a charm and was was super helpful as we had people in wheelchairs. It was small but got the job done. Also if you visit the local fire department they will provide you with a beach wheel chair if you have guests in need of those sort of accommodations.
The kitchen was fully stocked, the only thing we purchased was Tupperware which would be a great add to the house. The fridge and freezer are small! Could def use more fridge space for as big as this house is. There is a mini fridge on 3rd floor but hard to get to and it was not clean so we did not use it.
