Le calme du matin au bord de la mer; le Art's House Sky Bar a quelques centaines de mètres de l'hôtel

L'accès a l'hôtel ne se fait que par une seule compagnie de ferry, l'accès au ponton ne se fait que lorsqu'il y a peu de vagues, sinon il faut marcher de l'autre côté de la baie ; il y a beaucoup de scooters de mer sur la plage, pas très pratique pour nager dans la baie ; le soir il y a de la musique très forte sur la plage , il vaut mieux dîner au calme en dehors de l'établissement ; il y a un chantier avec plein d'ordures près de la plage de l'hôpital ce qui gâche l'effet carte postale; de manière générale il y a a de gestion des ordures sur l'île ce qui est désastreux pour l'écosystème ne faite pas de réservation de bus pour Phnom-Penh depuis l'hôtel, une fois arrivé au port, personne ne connait la compagnie, et il faut prendre un tuk tuk pour le prendre, alors que l'hôtel nous avait dit que c'était très proche du port, ce qui est ennuyeux si le ferry a du retard, ce qui arrive souvent...

Where we stayed was lovely and clean but nearby beaches were not so clean. The sea was clean around our part of the beach and the breakfast was good. Special thank you to the Manager Paul for our enjoyable stay.

We had a good time there and found it very relaxing. Not a great deal else to do so a few days to unwind and relax was plenty.

Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. La salle de bain est très propre. Le chauffe-eau est moderne. Le lit est confortable. Quel plaisir d'avoir la vue sur la piscine et la mer depuis la chambre. Les baies vitrées sont teintées pour plus d'intimité. Le restaurant est bon, propose des plats occidentaux aussi (mais les assiettes ne sont pas très copieuses). La baie est isolée et calme (fréquentée par des familles Cambodgiennes le week-end). Personnel très gentil, souriant et serviable.

Procédure d'arrivée et de départ trop complexes. La Réception ne parle pas bien anglais. Trop peu d'informations. Arrivée par Saracen Bay, il faut payer $10 de Taxi Boat supplémentaires pour vous déposer au pied d'une escalier en bois avec des planches cassées, de l’autre côté de la pointe ; puis 15 mins à pied. Personne pour aider à transporter les valises. Seule la compagnie Buva Sea va devant l’hôtel, uniquement s'il n'y a pas de vagues. Si la mer est agitée, il faut aller à un ponton de l'autre côté de la pointe, mais très peu d'indications sont données. Le petit déjeuner est identique tous les matins, peu de variétés. La piscine est pour les enfants : Elle ne fait que 1m à 1m20 de profondeur. Attention aux insectes piquants, sur la plage, en fin de journée et en soirée : Cela fait de gros boutons. Miroir de la salle de bains trop basse : Je fait 1m70 et je ne vois pas ma tête. N'est plus vraiment un hôtel 4 étoiles. Nécessite des rénovations.

Déjà j'avais réservé une chambre dans un hôtel qui est censé être un 4 étoiles à 87€ et qui est passé à 64€ la semaine d'après. Ce qu'il faut savoir sur cette île c'est qu'il n'y a pas de route donc si vous vous trompez d'hôtel et bien vous êtes coincé pour changer ou manger ailleurs. Nous sommes arrivés sur une autre plage donc il a fallu rajouter 20$ de taxi bateau. Les chambres sont assez marrantes car en forme de boîte de conserve. Chambre un peu vieillissante avec le matelas posé directement sur une estrade en bois. Je ne sais pas si c'est l'effet COVID ou un tsunami mais tous les hôtels à droite ou à gauche ont disparu ou sont en ruine et ressemblent plutôt à une décharge publique tout comme l'arrière de notre chambre T19 que l'on peut admirer de la fenêtre de la salle de bain ou ils entassent tout leurs reste de travaux. Les deux personnes masculines de l'accueil dont probablement le manager ne sont tout simplement pas à leur place. Pour couronner le tout, nous avons été réveillés en pleine nuit pour nous annoncer que le bateau que l'on avait réservé trois semaines auparavant avait un problème et était annulé . ( On devait être les seuls dessus à cette heure là) normalement en vacances ça ne pose pas trop de problème mais là on avait un trajet en bus dans la foulée. On règle en liquide mais ils n'avaient pas de monnaie. 😬. Je repars tout de même avec un beau souvenir car je me suis fait labourer par les moustiques.

It was like a mini paradise the location was out of this world so chilling and calming. The staff were exceptional the food was fantastic what else can I say apart from unbelievable value for money.

The only room complaint was the mattress it was so uncomfortable secondly the bar prices were a bit pricey compared to the little shop just a short walk away. Other than that I can't fault the place don't let that put you off it was a truly amazing stay and we wouldn't hesitate in going back.

The hotel was the perfect place to relax and unwind for a few days after a very busy 3 week trip. The rooms are right on the beach, and the pool area looks onto the beach so it's the perfect spot to sunbathe and take in the views. The food was really nice - lots of fresh seafood - and quite reasonably priced for the island. The staff were really friendly and the service in the bar and restaurant was great.

This wasn't a negative for us but it's on the quieter part of the island and there aren't many activities to do (there was a boat trip with snorkeling and plankton swimming but we didn't find this out until the last day) so if you wanted more to do while you're there then this might not be the right place. But we loved the fact that we could fully relax for the few days. It's about 2 hours walk to the other side of the island, and the water taxi is expensive.

Great location for a quiet holiday, especially if you like walking. The beach is fantastic, the restaurant serves nice food, including a lovely breakfast, and great cocktails. The bed is comfy and the rooms are small but well fit out with good AC. There are a couple of other places to eat and drink 10 minutes walk away.

The resort had a big group staying for the first day we were there which impacted service to other guests a bit, but not too much.

Excellent location, generally quiet with talcum powder-like sand and clear water. The included breakfast offered a good variety of food, and it's lovely to sit out at the beachfront cafe. Staff, although English speaking and understanding is usually minimal, are friendly and welcoming. The grounds are kept clean including the pools and beachfront. While food and drink are more expensive than the mainland, you can take a short walk to other places on the island or go to the minimarts for cheaper beer and snacks. We had a short problem with running water in the room, this was attended to in under 5 minutes and fixed quickly.

Essentially this places passes itself off as a 4 star when it should be 2-3 at most. That's not a bad thing, but they should be more honest. The rooms are a bit rundown with some lights and TV not working --- no big deal for me personally but that normally means at least some bar or restaurant vouchers should be offered for the inconveience. Although the daily rate was high as my stay was over New Year's, I still think it was excessive given the state of things. My biggest issue is the 3% surcharge for card payment at the end, found out upon settling the bill. This is NOT adverstised on their Booking.com page or mentioned when I wrote and asked them directly if they accepted card payments. Booking.com should pull them up for this.

Доброжелательный персонал, помогал во всем. Вкусная еда в ресторане(особенно морепродукты). Новые номера, бесшумный кондиционер,горячая вода . Отличные завтраки. Удобные лежаки на пляже и пляжные полотенца.

Хотелось бы, чтобы пляж убирали тщательнее (мы встречали сигареты и прочий мусор ), но не критично. В один день заехала большая компания и громко включала свою музыку с колонкой. Это было громко и невозможно слушать, мы приехали за спокойным отдыхом, это немного подпортило впечатление. Персонал не всегда убирал столы с пляжа, которые выставлялись для ужина. Это портило вид пляжа. Отель действительно расположен вдали от Sarasin bay. До него идти час, или брать такси. На побережье кроме отельного ресторана поесть больше негде. Нас это не напрягало, потому что еда вкусная, но может кому-то будет важно. Для меня самым большим расстройством было отсутствие в меню амока (fish amok), традиционного блюда Камбоджи. И отсутствие массажа, есть вывеска, но массажный салон мы не нашли.

Pokoje są urządzone bardzo prowizorycznie. Z węży w łazience cieknie woda i kilka razy poslizgnalem się wstając w nocy do łazienki. Internet jest bardzo słaby i pozwala jedynie podstawową komunikację że światem. Okolica obiektu jest strasznie zasmiecona, a niewielkiej odległości od resortu ktoś pali śmieci. Ścieki z obiektu wypływają prawdopodobnie na pobliską łąkę, a podczas przypływu są spłukiwane przez fale. Podczas naszego pobytu obiekt nie oferował żadnych odpłatności atrakcji czy wycieczek tłumacząc to złą pogodą, która po tej stronie wyspy jest taka przez większą część roku. W recepcji przez kilka dni leżał martwy pies.

The staff were responsive and polit

Everything was great apart from when we arrived by ferry to the Tube beach, the ferry dropped us at the back of Island due to big waves in the sea. That was ok but we had to carry our luggage for 10 minutes to get to the property.

Right on the beach which was amazing. The staffs are super friendly and very accommodating.

Several housekeeping issues: we struggled with locking our room. You had to pull the door towards you to get the lock to turn. two kids cut their toes on a broken tile in the kiddy pool and the mosquitoes are massive. Bring tons of bug spray. Otherwise, a cute place.

The staffs were really nice and helpful. The room service is great and the room is clean. The food is nice.

There aren’t many activities we can do. The resort is far from the lazy beach, the sunset beach, the lighthouse so, if you plan to visit those places, this resort might not be suitable for you. The swimming pool is not clean at all.

Very nice and quite location. Our kids loved the pool, my wife and me loved the restaurant. We have a wonderful stay.

Beautiful clean, soft white sand, private beaches. Calm, clear water. Beautiful fish clearly visible from the pier. Perfect for a relaxing time with family. Child friendly. Delicious food. Well maintained pool area.

Some damp staining in the units. Needs a little touch up.

The location was great. We had transfers organised for us and were met at the pier. The food and drink was also really good quality.

Sometimes service was slow and someone serving us at the minimart did not give us change so they kept 30,000 real. Also the door to our bungalow wouldn’t shut properly which was concerning with the bugs.

was located on the most stunning beach and very private and away from the hustle and bustle. staff are so so lovely and helpful and the restaurant was super handy and had great options (and great cocktails!) our room was cleaned every day we were there as well, which hasn’t seemed to be the norm in our experience

only thing I would say is we were silly and booked our accomodation after we booked the ferry. they gave great suggestions on how to get to the resort but we had to ferry to Saracen bay then water taxi to the resort and it proved to be a bit of a defeating mission. so I would recommend following the info they provide in the booking confirmation email

The staff were amazing! They were very helpful and we loved chatting with them. The beach was spotless and basically private since there are only 2 other resorts there.

Everything about this place is excellent. The staff are nice and friendly. The resort is super clean, as is the beach front. Great spot for some quality family time. Breakfast and cocktails were great too. Will come back again soon! Cheers

gorgeous cool tube homes. felt really homely and safe as a solo traveler. very peaceful relaxing environment. unspoilt/remote location. quiet clean beach. nice relaxing music in restaurant. attentive staff, can book tours and boat etc. respond to requests well.

might have been nice to have a sign to put on door to say yes/no to cleaning each day (although lovely to be cleaned daily of course). breakfast wasn’t amazing, would have been nice to have latte/cappuccino for slightly cheaper with breakfast or maybe muesli and yoghurt/cereal to add variety.
