The hosts go above and beyond what is or expected. They where in contact with us on our trip and where happy to meet us as we arrived with additional information and suggestions once our personal agenda was discussed. I believe we have never stayed at any other property that was more organized and clean than Suite Betty. The additional amenities where also greatly appreciated. If we find ourselves returning to this local we definitely will be staying at Suite Bettys.

We loved Suite Betty. The space has its own entry with a mudroom, and the suite itself is possibly one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. The kitchen has a good selection of cookware, gas stove, and full-sized refrigerator, all sparkling clean. The queen-sized bed is cozy with a not-too-firm, not-too-soft mattress, and the bedroom windows look over the city. Water pressure in the shower is great. Two sinks in the bathroom are a nice feature for a couple staying there, and the full-sized washer & dryer are also nice to have. The house is easy walking distance to the Superior Hiking Trail - a four-mile round trip to Enger Tower; almost a three-mile round trip to Haines Road in the other direction. There's also close access to a huge network of mountain bike trails. Duluth's Best Bread store is just down the hill, and just a little further on are Corktown Deli and the Duluth Grill, both excellent places to eat. Everything about Suite Betty exceeded our expectations. And Bill & Pat are so nice and available to answer any questions you might have.

A good place to stay when exploring the Duluth area.

Our second visit to this beautiful western Duluth (Lincoln Park) neighborhood home with attached / separate VRBO apartment. Easy to find, fully appointed new property. Gracious hosts and lovely view. Perfect for the two of us. ( Our only disappointment is the poor state of the roadways in this part of town. We know how hard it is to keep asphalt sound in MN but this neighborhood deserves more love from the city! )

This was the most pleasant and perfect lodging experience! Bill and Pat were quick to respond to questions before our arrival, and were excellent hosts. They greeted us upon arrival, and made us feel most welcomed. We loved the personal touches….chocolate, fresh flowers and an anniversary card…thank you! ❤️. Property is meticulously clean and tidy, bed is very comfortable, the bathroom amenities and towels provided were top notch and we appreciated the yummy Keurig coffees that were provided. Although we did not cook ourselves this trip, the kitchen was fully stocked and we sure could have. We did not take advantage of the grill and fire pit sitting area, but it looked like a lovely space. We will definitely stay here our next trip to Duluth. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This vrbo unit took us by surprise, what a beautiful location at the top of the hill with magnificent views of Lake Superior. The hosts were there to greet us and ensure we had what we needed. While they live in the main house, it felt like they were there if we needed them, but not intrusive at all. The apartment is perfect for two people. Though the decor is dated it is very comfortable; not just the bed, pillows and linens, but also the sofa at the end of the day. Shower is a bit small, but water pressure fantastic. The bathroom is large and with double vanity works great for two. There is a closet/dressing room/laundry right between the bedroom and bathroom which was large and convenient for unpacking and getting ready. The kitchen was fully stocked, we did no cooking, but you certainly could have, even spices. Plenty of towels (of really great quality!) in the bathroom. Oh, and a nice Keurig with plenty of coffee and creamer 😄. While you are only about two miles (or less) from convenience store, gas station, restaurant, it doesn’t really feel walkable, but we still loved the location and would absolutely stay here again. We didn’t take advantage, but they have a beautiful yard with a firepit.

What a lovely little gem to have found in Duluth. The rental is tucked away up the hill, with beautiful surroundings, and a great view, while also being close to many attractions. Everything was so incredibly clean and inviting, and the hosts were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay, and will return in the future.

I had a very good impression of the VRBO. It was perfect for me and had everything I needed. I'll definitely consider staying there on future Duluth trips.

The house itself is a stark difference from the neighborhood you drive through to get to it. It's a beautiful home on the hillside. The VRBO appears to be a mother in law apartment. It was clean with plenty of room for a long weekend stay. Bill and Pat were very friendly and responsive leading up to our stay.

Bill and Pat’s place was wonderful! Check in was easy! We were greeted by Bill and pat when we arrived, they were so sweet! They made us feel very welcome! The apartment was very clean! There was plenty of room for us and our little one! Close to canal park and lots of other restaurants/breweries! We will definitely be staying again when we come back to Duluth!

The stay was fantastic. The property was clean and well kept, and had all the amenities we could ask for. We felt very welcomed, and cared for. Highly recommend!

Overall, The place was very clean and looked nice. For two people, the apartment was just the right size. All the facilities needed for an extended stay--like kitchen and washer/dryer--were available and had no problems. The only improvement that could be made is the Wi-Fi. Sometimes the Wi-Fi would cut out--as in it would disappear from the list of available networks. This cause interruptions to video playback. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi would come back online; however, it would be ideal if no dropout occurred. Location-wise, be prepared to rely on a car. The house is somewhat far away from Canal Park or the downtown area. Although you will need a car, the drive to downtown Duluth was quick. If you rely on public transportation or cannot drive, please keep this in mind. Besides the Wi-Fi, the apartment would be a definite win for us.

The accommodations were excellent and the outside space was beautiful. It was so much fun to enjoy a bonfire every evening of our stay. We can’t wait to come back next year.

The apartment was spotless, so clean!! Bill and Pat are wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to help me with a phone issue I was having. The apartment is very welcoming with a personal touch. I loved the fresh flowers, chocolates, bottled water, and great coffee! I will definitely be back soon!

We’ve stayed at the property twice and loved it each time! The owners bend over backwards to make you feel welcome. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone. We’ll be staying again!

We absolutely love staying here. This our second time staying at suite Betty we will definitely be staying again everything about this place is absolutely perfect!

This was a great spot, very close to all the fun activities that Duluth has to offer. The apartment was very clean and had enough room and space for myself and two friends. The bed and pull out were comfortable and there was a clean fridge and kitchen to make food and store snacks. We would definitely stay here again, and would look forward to using the fire pit next time.

All good things to say about this property. Being quietly woken by the vast sunrise over the Lake Superior/Duluth area was a blessing. Property owners were kind, respectful and graciously gave us a bit of history of our accommodations as we effortlessly “checked in”. Thank you Pat and Bill, we hope to return!

Very cozy and clean mother-in-law suite type of housing. Comfortable bed and well supplied kitchen and bath. Owners were very kind and available. It’s at a high point above the city and the few roads you need to travel to get up there are not the best but parking at the top is defined and nice views. Loved the little welcoming touches and was so thankful they thought of suppling an ice scraper for the car!

Staying with Bill and Pat at Suite Betty was a great experience! We had mentioned it was our anniversary and they left the sweetest note and a few goodies for us. Everything was clean, organized, and just like the photos. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. Thanks again, Bill and Pat!
