The location is superb; the neighborhood is lovely.

There are steep stairs so it would not be appropriate for an older person or anyone with any sort of disability. It also has a little bit of a musty smell when you first come in to the foyer.

We had managers phone number and even though the apartment wasn't ready for our stay, we had the code and were able to put luggage in.

The beds hadn't been cleaned with old linen....they had the same bedding from the previous occupants but had been sprayed with lots of Fabreze. Very smelly. I am very observant and noticed the bedding immediately when we came in.

The location is excellent! The aparment is comfortable and offers everything you need. You cannot beat this for location and value. Beautiful area and tranquil. NO traffic noise, which is unusual!

Had issues with operating the lock box, but that was really minor. Checkin on reservation said 12 but I was then told 2pm. But was really not a problem.

The location

Black mold in the bathroom ceiling. I made both me and especially my husband ill. He is still down 2 days after our return. The beds were old and very uncomfortable. They gave you thick comforters to cover and they were spraying so thickly with Fabreze that it was hard to breath. The kitchen was ill equiped for cooking. There were plenty of pots and pans, but no ovenware. We never fry food. When you first enter, the smell of mold catches you off guard. We thought it would help if we aired it out but it didn't. The entrance and the steps were unswept and dirty, and full of trash which also smelled.

The location is great - it is very close to both Hyde Park and Knightsbridge, so great for getting around.

The host was extremely unbothered by anything. They were very late to provide us with the check-in information including the code for the keybox. We didn’t have hot water for 2 days - we spent 1 entire day waiting in the apartment for the plumber to come and fix it. The host was terrible with communication -wasn’t keeping us updated and left us waiting for over 5/6 hours for the plumber. The entrance to the apartment looks like it has never been cleaned - it was very dirty and smelled quite bad. The apartment itself also needed a thorough clean as you could tell it was carrying a lot of dust and dirt (a lot of cob-webbs on the walls). The sofa was very unclean in particular. There are very very very few amenities. We got half a roll of toilet paper left for us for a 5 night stay for 3 adults, and nearly an empty bottle of hand wash. There was almost nothing in the apartment in terms of other amenities. Kitchen utensils were very limited, and so made it very difficult to make use of it. The flat is a basement apartment, so it was very dark most of the day, and was actually quite cold in the night.

The location of the apartment was great! The apartment was clean. The host was very pleasant. Easy check in and check out. The host answered my text quickly. Comfortable place. The kitchen was equipped with the necessary utensils. I was able to cook. The apartment has dishwasher, washer and dryer.

The pictures of the apartment are not a good description of the apartment. The bathroom is not in good condition. The shower head did not have a place to hold the handle , so it was hard to shower. Make sure you bring extra toilet paper. They only provided a small roll. The tv was set in Arabic so I was not able to change the settings. Couldn’t even watch Netflix. The is a huge hold in the bedroom’s closet. Awful hangers.
