The Carriage House befindet sich auf unserem Grundstück in einer ruhigen Kopfsteinpflaster gesäumten Straße in einer wunderschönen Gegend mit herrlichen alten Häusern. Es ist geräumig und luxuriös mit rustikalem Flair. Es wurde im Jahre 1887 und renoviert im Jahr 2000 gebaut. Es ist ein Rückzugsort für unsere Kinder, Freunde, und Familie. Jetzt werden wir es Ihnen anbieten zu genießen! Es ist eine fabelhafte Wiedervereinigung / Partyraum! Es gibt 3 BR + Loft + Viele Sofas, zwei 1/2 Bäder, 1 Badezimmer mit WC, eine Außendusche mit Warmwasser und zwei Duschköpfen. Die Stadt Englewood ist mit Gourmet-Restaurants, gemütliche Cafés gefüllt und wunderbaren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ist nur 7 Minuten zu Fuß. Englewood, East Hill Umgebung ist ideal für lange Läufe, Spaziergänge, und Fahrradtouren.

The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in it. The host gave clear instructions, was responsive, and I’m sure would have been helpful had anything come up. The inside was pretty clean. However: the listing is not explicit about a few important things. The host’s house is not only very close to the carriage house (the grill and outdoor dining is on the main house’s back patio) but the pool is shared so expect the host to use it during your stay. The yard is also shared for use by the owner’s dogs and her boarding business. Thankfully the owner was not there for our stay but we were worried upon learning this from the house rules post-booking. Also, because there is no access to the main room on the ground floor, there is only a cramped kitchen on that floor and the living space with seating is up the spiral staircase so it didn’t feel easily accessible. The grounds could be better maintained—it looked like weeks of fallen leaves had accumulated on dirty patio cushions so we avoided them. There were also a few metal pipes with jagged edges sticking out of the ground around the pool that are concealed by grass - one adult stepped on one and cut her foot pretty badly.
These things would not have bothered us as much at a more reasonable price point.

We had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving with our adult children in the Carriage house. The location was great - beautiful neighborhood in small town with easy access to all the things we did in NYC. Lisa helped us when we didn’t have all the right kitchen tools for our meal and worked with us on our schedule for her dog business. It was a real pleasure spending our special family time in this home - comfortable and so many things to do (we played ping pong and pool). Thank you Lisa for a great stay!

The Country Carriage House was great for our long weekend adventure to New Jersey and New York. Location to the city was perfect. Lisa was a wonderful host and the lines of communication were always open. Any questions we had were answered immediately. Unfortunately, we did not have an opportunity to use all of the wonderful amenities. We would definitely return. Thank you Lisa.

This place was amazing and we all loved it. Our only regret is that the stay was so short (2 days). We would love to stay at the carriage house again and for longer.
This place is loaded with amenities: Pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, pool table etc... We didn't get to use all of it as pool was amazing by itself.
You might see deer on the streets casually strolling. Few of them were 20 feet away and not scared. Here in NH they are definitely far more skittish.
Lisa let my daughter play with couple of little dogs and my daughter absolutely loved it.
Overall I fully recommend. Everyone in my group complimented me for a great find!

We had a group of long-time friends looking for a place near Yankee Stadium and found the Carriage House. Lisa, the owner, was excellent to work with. When we arrived, she greeted us and showed how to use all of the features. The property itself has a lot of character and plenty of entertainment options. We already discussed a return trip in the future. I would definitely stay here again.

Myself and a group of buddies stayed for the weekend while hoping back and forth from NYC. We had plenty of space and the other amenities like the pool, hot tubs sauna etc are a nice feature. The general area was great as well. Lisa was very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend her place!

This place is breathe taking. It’s too good to be true. The entire place is like a fairy tale for humans and dogs! Everything from The pool to the laundry machines to the loft board games the family connected like no other. Partners got closer, laughs were shared and love was spread. We BBQ’d and roasted some marshmallows while others shot hoops in the pool. We all boiled in the pools spa like a couple of lobsters lol! The sauna was great plus the steam room. All the directions were so easy to follow. There’s a towel count which helped alot!! We didn’t get the chance to play pool but there’s always next time ! I had an amazing birthday get away with the family. I would def rent this place again even if it’s just got a day! The late check out sure helped up so much! Never knew there was such a pretty house. My service dog and her retired pals had such a wonderful time they ran and played. Swam in the pool and ate all the treats they could get. Only thing we were a bit scared of was breaking the spiral stares we are a clumsy family. But overall 10/10 would def go again. Lisa was a great host answered us quick her handy man andy asked us if we were okay during our stay super nice people. Lisa was also open to giving us a tour prior since she wasn’t going to be on the property to show us how things worked and she also recorded videos for us. Wonderful host and People !

Lisa was easy to work with and accommodating. Great amenities on property including pool, hot tubs, wet and dry saunas,and trampoline.

We had a great stay here for a friend’s bachelor party. The Carriage House can comfortably slept our group of 10, and we certainly could have fit a few more.
Lisa is an excellent communicator and super helpful throughout your stay — definitely respectful of guests’ privacy, but provides some useful tips on how to best enjoy the space (sauna, steam room, pool/hottub instructions).
The carriage house has a lot of character and is a bit of a quirky layout, but quite fun and very comfortable. The outdoor space is awesome for entertaining a group — large yard, pool, basketball court. We also had a private hibachi chef come and cook for a group of 14 of us one of the nights, which was a ton of fun. Lisa let us set up a party space under the carport, which was a great way to stay dry while it was raining.
Easy street parking as well.

Lisa your great and her home is amazing! From the space to the hot tubs and sauna we loved every minute of it! My kid played pool for the first time and the living space was just so comfy! I wanted to stay! Lisa your the greatest. Very accommodating and respectful. I appreciate you and your handyman who even helped us take out the trash when he didn’t have to. I would recommend for anyone. I had a blast as an adult and all the kids loved it too! Thanks Lisa 😊

We had a wonderful time, the house is clean and beautiful. Lisa met us at check in to take a tour of the house and show how to work the sauna, spa, hot tub and all the rest. The place is quiet and has everything you need from clean towels to kitchen appliances and supplies. We had a great time using the hot tub, out door shower, sauna and steam room, then cooling off in the swimming pool. We will definitely come back and visit Lisa's place soon! Thanks Lisa!!

The carriage house is just amazing..so many amenities! Comfortable beds, big tv, pool table, hot tub, sauna, steam room...list goes on and on! Lisa has thought of everything! And driving to Manhatten was so easy...20 minutes and we are there in the city, yet the VRBO is an oasis..you'd never know how close to the city it is with its quiet neighborhoods filled with trees. This place truly is a find! And Lisa is so helpful and accommodating! Don't stay anywhere else!!

The accommodations at the Carriage House are great and in a beautiful neighborhood. Very clean, comfortable and plenty of room for six adults and our pet pug. Lisa is a gracious host, very helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend.

We (14) were only there from Friday night until Sunday morning. It was a great place to be able to go into NYC for a day. While it had a hot tub, sauna and steam room we only had time to use the hot tub which was enjoyed even with the cooler outside temps . Some of the adults made use of the fire pit. A good time was had by all.

Very clean and had very comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything you needed for preparing meals. Lots of amenities including pool and ping pong table, Pool, hot tub, sauna, steam and fire pit. Very nice and quiet neighborhood with lots of parks nearby. Convenient public transportation to NY.

We stayed at Lisa‘s beautiful home for my sisters bachelorette party. We had 11 girls sleep in the house and we all fit there extremely comfortably. The house is so quaint and unique! The kitchen is on the bottom level of the house and excluded from the upstairs, which is really nice for people who want to sleep and be away from the late night noise. We spent a full day at the house having a Mimosa Brunch, using the sauna and steam room and all of the outside facilities! We used a Limo one night and Uber the next to get to and from the city which wasn’t too expensive when you have a lot of people. I highly recommend staying here. Lisa was so easy to work with during the planning process.

It was ok, We enjoyed the pool but the place had some dog poop, grill and the sitting area were not that clean. Pictures looked better than the actual place.

Carriage house was as pictured. We stayed at Lisa’s for a Graduation in NYC. The home was perfect for our family and offered lots of options like the pool, hot tub, pool table and fire pit. Lisa was avail when needed and delivered replacement batteries for a remote within minutes! It’s a 30 minute commute to NYC and has a lot to offer. As a side note, we left an item behind and Lisa was kind enough to mail it for us!

This house is simply magical. There was every possible amenity for our family to enjoy. We loved getting to know Lisa (who is SO lovely) and enjoyed several afternoons lounging in the sun with a few of her adorable dogs. Can’t wait to go back in the summer.

My family stayed here for several days with two other families, 8 kids in all. The house is very special with artistic and thoughtful touches throughout. There is lots for kids to do including a pool table, ping pong, a trampoline and hot tub. Even though the house is obviously loved and personally cared for, the owner is really relaxed about kids. We felt totally comfortable with our children enjoying the space. Lisa is easy to talk to and very helpful. She wants everything to be just right. It was a sweet rental in a great location with lots of tree lined streets for walking, close to downtown Englewood and 10 minutes from Manhattan. Best to have a car.

This is a great little find! It sleeps a lot of people, but that includes sofa beds and twin beds. Lots of help and communication from the owner. Great perks like hot tub and sauna. Very unique and eclectic decoration.

I got there and she was rdy to meet me and had walked me through and everything which was very nice & inviting. Definitely a plus too make sure evwrything done right on my end. It was peaceful, the house was amazing. It did rain but I’ll be back when it not so that I can enjoy the nature and amenities outside! I would definitely rent again!

The house and pool were wonderful. After losing my husband, this was a nice retreat for me & my children and granddaughter to escape for a little and grieve together and cry and celebrate my husband and their Dad. The house was well stocked and the steam & sauna were a bonus. During the day we were by the pool which has a hot tub attached plus my kids enjoyed the other hot tub at night. We didn't venture out anywhere as we just wanted to spend time together. Lisa was a very nice host, gave us a tour when we got there and explained everything. She also checked in with us to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at the Carriage house. In addition to being tastefully decorated this place had everything we needed. We had a lot of company during our stay – friends and family who we had not seen in a long time -- and the Carriage house provided all the comfort and amenities we needed to entertain. We made use of everything it has to offer – the pool, the jacuzzi, the artesian spa, the steam room, and the sauna, the pool table, trampoline and basketball court for the kids, the BBQ grill, the gas firepit as well as the wood fire pit and the outdoor shower! It had it all. Lisa, who lives on the property, was very accommodating to make our stay enjoyable. One day we decided to prepare a dish that required a slow cooker, and she provided a brand new one for us. She was our concierge!
If you are a dog lover than this place is especially for you as Lisa has a dog sitting business and 3 dogs of her own. So, suffice it to say when she let them out there were many dogs to interact with. If that is not your cup of tea Lisa will coordinate letting them out around your outdoor activity!

Although the weather was not the best the house is well equipped to keep my family entertained. Lisa was attentive and available to assist. Wish we could have enjoyed the outdoors more. Thanks Lisa!
