Beautiful old Victorian home with plenty of space for all, with a huge kitchen, and lovely backyard, with fire pit, and my favorite…the hot tub! Enjoyed our stay here very much!

This house was historic and beautiful. Awesome grounds and gardens and in a perfect location for our occasion. ( Watching our nephew play in the AT&T Pro/Am at Pebble Beach!) The topper was the hot tub after long days walking the courses! We will be back next year if it's available. Thanks so much from the whole McCurley family!

Our group of 5 was in town for the Monterey Bag Half Marathon and had a fantastic time. Plenty of space to stretch out, fully equipped kitchen that we made a lot of meals in, walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions, and the hot tub was perfect for after-run recovery. The owners and property manager made our stay completely easy - they were warm and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back!

Family gathered for a wedding
We had not stayed in this area before but needed a big house as our family and friends gathered for a wedding.none of us live in the USA and we didn’t know your systems.the house was great .A lovely old home full of every thing we needed-even a sewing kit.
Great house for a lot of people.
The booking, pre arrival communication with the owners and the greeting and departure process with the greeter were personalised and pleasant. She even disposed of the surplus wedding flowers we couldn’t take but couldn’t throw away.

Really enjoyed our family get together at this location in Pacific Grove and your well stocked kitchen and pantry. We happen to love old houses and your remodeled MB shower, stained glass and nice lace curtains caught everyone attention. May need to rework some of the door hardware. Thanks, J & J

Beautiful House, beautiful town
Great location, quiet neighborhood and walking distance to lots of beautiful and interesting locations. Especially nice for summer travelers looking to get away from the heat! If you have a large group, be ready to share bathrooms. However we were, and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Perfect in Pacific Grove
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Victorian, and in addition to plenty of beds to sleep in and an easy-to-navigate kitchen, the cozy backyard setup worked great for the six of us. The fact that we were able to walk twice a day into downtown Pacific Grove and grab coffee at Bookworks or Cafe Ariana, breakfast at either Holly's or Toasties, and lunch at either Monarch Pub or Red House ... made our stay that much better.

Great Place!
This is our second visit to this property. We came back because it is comfortable and convenient, well managed and clean. Our group of seven adults and four children fit well in the spacious house and enjoy the outdoor spaces too. It is in a quiet neighborhood but walking distance from many of our favorite PG places. We highly recommend it!

Bargain location
Came for annual golf trip and conference with friends and family. Some of my friends staying at hotels and air bnb’s paid 2-3x more than I did. The home is not luxury, but it is very cute, convenient, accommodating for large groups, and practical. Best memories were kicking it in the backyard with the kids in the hot tub while we enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen and dining is large for family breakfast but we mostly ate out because why not, there’s seafood and clam chowder on every street corner. The location is optimal. Top golf courses in the world were just 12-15 min drive away. Aquarium and cannery were just 6-8 minutes drive away. The best thing though was the owner provides two aquarium passes for guests to use. Every guest in the house used it during our stay and we saved over $300 on not having to buy aquarium passes. We will back again soon to make more memories.

Perfect family reunion location
We had 3 families comibg together from acrosss the US and the house was perfect. Well stocked -- much better than other rentals. Kitchen had everything we needed. The house was roomy and well kept. Easy walk to shops, beach, and aquarium.

Great location-super back yard.
Typical older property with its character and personality flaws. Rooms were large and beds comfy. Felt like staying at a friends place!

Fabulous, quaint, and perfect for a large group!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful historic, victorian in PG. We had a total of 12 people and were were all very comfortable, not on top of each other. The house is way more spacious than it looks. The house was well stocked with utensils, kitchen equipment, blankets, pillows, etc. We enjoyed the fire pit, the fire inside and the hot tub! The house is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown PG, Caledonia Park, and Lovers Point. We even walked to the aquarium and Cannery Row, which was perfect! We would definitely rent this house again. Mary & Family we very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. They even had flowers for us and a kind note upon arrival!

A perfect place for a large family to hang out!
Our family was fortunate to find this very comfortable and roomy house to stay in over Christmas vacation. The kitchen was well equipped with whatever we needed. This made cooking quite easy for our large group. We enjoyed the flexibility to gather in different areas of the house and the ability to walk to the beach and to town.
Our contact for questions on the house was very quick in responding. All in all this house is one of the best houses we have rented. We hope to stay again.

Home away from home
We love this beautiful home complete with garden, hot tub and room for our big family! Everything is comfortable and accommodating, clean and well appointed in away that feels like a family home rather than rental property. Excellent location in a charming neighborhood only a few blocks from restaurants and shops. Love everything about this home!

My family and friends enjoyed a fun and memorable weekend at your house in
Pacific Grove. Our group included four married couples, two of whom have
young children and babies. The house made it possible for all of us, 10 adults, 2 children and 2 babies to gather for meals, to sit around a large table to eat and socialize, to play games with the children and babies inside and on the deck and lawn in the backyard, and to watch TV together in the large game room. The hot tub and fire pit were gathering spots for us at night.
There is so much space that any of us could find solitude in the house amid the swarm of activity. The house is perfect, as advertised, for a large family gathering.
The location was close enough to the auto races at Laguna Seca as well as Cannery Row's restaurants and shops, Fisherman's Wharf and the Aquarium to be very convenient and time saving.
Two of the couples experienced the Aquarium for the first time, thanks to your
kindness of providing tickets. The flowers, wine and apple cider were unexpected and appreciated pleasures. Very thoughtful and nice touches! Thank you also for instructing Liane to provide us with directions to access the pay-per-view channel. Liane is very welcoming, pleasant and helpful and gave us a grand tour upon our arrival. She was as proud of the home as if it were her own.
Everyone ended the week-end saying that we should do it again next year.

This historic victorian was perfect for our family of 10. With a son & grand daughter living in Berlin we don't get a chance to get the whole family together very often. The house is kept up very well and in fact had just been painted. The kitchen was well stocked so we had no problem cooking most of our meals. The beds were very comfortable. It's location is a short walk to downtown which was very convenient to the restaurants and shops.

Thank you so much for letting us celebrate my mom's 80th birthday at your home. It easily accommodated the nine of us that stayed there. We prepared all our meals and especially loved the long dining room table for meals and playing games! The weather was perfect , just chilly enough in the evenings to enjoy sitting around the fire pit in the back yard. Thank you for the lovely flowers you left on the kitchen table and we definitely took advantage of the free passes to the Monterey Aquarium. The hot tub felt wonderful in the evening before bedtime,, relaxing with a glass of wine. Everyone was very impressed with your historic Victorian home and we all felt very comfortable throughout the house. Plenty of space to either hang out in a large group,, or find a quiet nook by oneself for some alone time. Thanks again.

A wonderful relaxing get away retreat. We had a fabulous time and the house was perfect for our party of 12. The house is well laid out for large parties. There is plenty of room for everybody from the upstairs gathering room, to the large living area with lots of seating to the huge country kitchen. Plus there is a fabulous outdoor space with a large deck inclusive of fire pit and hot tub. We never felt like we were living on top of one another as there was so much space to spread out. I also appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with plates, serving and cooking/ bakingware. A very nice bonus was the two passes to the aquarium that were unexpected, and gratefully accepted. LiAnne, the hostess, was there to show us the place and check us out and at our disposal in case we needed anything or had any problems which we did not. Thanks for the lovely stay. The walk to the butterfly park and along the coastline were both memorable - love watching the whales at this time of the year! Always special.

For Thanksgiving 2014- 11 of us stayed in this lovely spacious home. Fourteen of us sat down to dinner comfortably with the day spent cooking in a very accommodating kitchen. The 4 children could use the hot tub as we cooked, easily chaperoned by an adult. Others could read undisturbed either upstairs or down.I don’t think even one of us used any of the televisions, although at one point there were 4 Mac Pros in the office! The weather stayed good, and amongst our group various ones of us visited Point Lobos, the park a little further south of Point Lobos, Carmel, Pacific Grove, the beaches, Lover’s Point, and the Monarch Preserve which was just a walk away. The rain held off until we left. This was our second stay in this lovely home and we all had a grand time.

We were 8 runners, in town for the weekend for Big Sur Half Marathon. The deck, fire pit and hot tub were just the ticket for us to relax pre- and post-race...when it got a bit chilly we went inside to the large living room. The ample supply of plates, wine (and other) glasses and silverware, plus towels and the well-stocked kitchen worked well for our group. We especially liked having TWO coffee makers!!
Dealing with Mary and Liane was great! Straightforward communication and everything delivered spot on. I would recommend this house for a celebration group of friends.

We stayed 4 nights with grandparents and three families, ages 6 to 65. The location is wonderful, easy walking distance to the Pacific Grove shops and several restaurants as well as Lovers Point. Even our 6-yr-old could walk to Cannery Row and then we used the free shuttle to get to the wharf in Monterey. That made it possible for us to spend a day out together without any driving. The house worked really well for our extended family.,, plenty of plates, mugs, silverware, etc. Several routine spices were there already, making it possible for us to cook easily and just purchase the main ingredients. There is a fenced, grassy lawn in the back where kids could play, several sitting areas inside the house (some with TV's, some without), and a deck in the back with enough chairs to fit us all around the firepit. We were a little concerned ahead of time about only 2 bathrooms, but that worked out fine since we all got up at different times. And even though bed size situation wasn't ideal for our group (more twins than we needed), but we knew ahead of time about the sizes, etc, and were prepared. Having so many bedrooms gave each family the privacy they wanted at night. There is plenty of space to spread out, with several rooms with enough furniture for us to be together. Mary was a dream to work with, and we really felt we made the right choice for our family reunion. Thank you for making our trip possible.

What a lovely home- full of conversation areas, plenty of room for our growing family. We came with our children and grandchildren - 17 total (and 1 on the way). All of our children expressed a desire to return because it was 'perfect'. Highlights: spa, enclosed back yard, 2 different living areas, big eat in kitchen that was well equipped. Mary was a very gracious host and got back to us right away about a very minor issue. The weather also cooperated and we had a perfect family reunion! I wholeheartedly recommend this home!

Our family of 12, including 6 children, had a delightful vacation in this historic well-lit beautiful home. Mary answered all of our questions before booking and we were pleasantly greeted by Liane on our arrival. The large kitchen plus extra dining area gave us enough cooking and eating space, the hot tub and fenced backyard with fire pit were well used, and the cold July evenings even had us turning on the gas fireplace in the living room! We managed fine with only 2 bathrooms as well. There is a nearby local grocery store which is VERY neighborly, and the house is well-situated in town - walking distance to the little downtown, Lover's Point beach, and the Aquarium. The house certainly met all of our needs and is a good choice for those with children as well.

I was privileged to stay in this Lovely Lady during my reunion on the Peninsula. This is an amazing house, so authentic and well maintained in beautiful Pacific Grove. The amenities are suited for large family gathering. The location is perfect being within 20 minutes of just about everything on the Peninsula. I highly recommend that you book your vacation here and bring your family. I will definitely be returning. I feel so fortunate to have been able to stay. Thank you.
