We had a lovely week long stay at Kate's Cottage. The property is about a mile out of Rathmullan (not in the centre) but it means it is less busy, had beautiful hillside views of mountains and the sea (just about!) and was very peaceful. The house was a very good size and spotless. Good parking. Nice sitting room and kitchen and powerful showers. The decking area is useful not just for lunching on but for morning yoga with the sunrise on it. You can walk to Rathmullan two ways from the house - one is a bit more of a fast road and I avoided walking along that, the other is a bit longer but quieter. Rathmullan itself is lovely and I highly recommend dinner at Rathmullan House.

It was a bit hot upstairs in the bedrooms caused by some very rare hot weather -but I'm not really complaining as it was lovely to be able to walk on the beach. Instructions regarding bins could have been clearer.

Very comfortable and cosy, great big enclosed garden for the dog.

Just a wee bit out of Rathmullan but only a few minutes in the car.

wonderful position and views. convenient for village and beaches. 2 miniature dachshunds were sad to leave!
