We received a complimentary Italian breakfast (cappuccino and a cornet) which was very nice. I loved the prompt communication of the staff through whatsapp. The location is convenient since it is in the middle of most of the things you would like to see in Naples. We had to take taxi when we arrived and at departure. Taxi runs around 25 euro. The check out was at 10 am and since we had a ferry at 5 pm (to our next destination) we could leave our luggage at the property at no extra cost (loved that). The staff arranged for the taxi (which was convenient). Definitely will stay again and recommend to others.

It was a bit confusing to find the place. We had to ask people on the street (at 10 pm) where the hotel is. Luckily we run into one of the owners on the street and he showed us to the place. He even helped us with the luggage climb the stairs. (There is no elevator).

Location very central but tucked away so lovely and quiet. Great to have air conditioning and clean. Staff very helpful.

Location

The property is beautifully renovated and designed in a very distinctive and stylish way. It consists of a central living area and two bedrooms, so in practice we had the entire place to ourselves. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Naples. We were welcomed by Rafael, who was exceptionally kind, warm and pleasant. He was the first person we met when we arrived in Naples, and his wonderful welcome gave us a very positive first impression of the city. The rooms are attractively designed and the beds are comfortable.

Several maintenance issues affected our overall experience. In both bathrooms, the shower drains were blocked, causing water to accumulate while showering. The shower fittings also leaked at the connection between the hose and the handheld shower head, and in one bathroom the hot water was inconsistent and came and went unpredictably. We stayed during a particularly hot period, and unfortunately the air conditioners struggled to cool the rooms adequately. There are also many fragrance diffusers throughout the property; although the scent itself is pleasant, I personally found it very strong and at times overwhelming in the relatively small space. We were also disappointed with the breakfast. On Booking.com it is described as excellent, but in practice breakfast was served at a nearby café and consisted of coffee and a croissant that did not taste fresh. This fell noticeably short of our expectations. It is a shame that these relatively simple and fixable issues detract from what is otherwise a beautifully designed property with a very welcoming host and an excellent location.
