The decks were beautiful the view amazing and the location perfect. The staff were very helpful when we phoned for support. There are beautiful art gardens near by. The views from outside are spectacular. Very clean and cutr functional kitchen. There is a beautiful garden walk near by.

We stayed in a studio for 4 with a kitchen. Upon arrival at 6pm in the rain we realized the rooms were not clearly indicated. We had trouble locating our studio with young kids in the rain. Then at 11pm we had a group of men repeatedly trying our key pad who were trying to enter our room. My husband had to get up and answer the door to strangers in the night and try to direct them to their booked room. So others had this same problem. The rooms have titles online but signs or titles are not posted on the doors and the instructions are not bilingual. It was frightening to have strangers trying to enter our room and wake us and our kids in the night. This could be avoided with clear signs. The pull out bed was very saggy and small for two people. The murphy bed was great. a permanent bed and Murphy bed would be better combo since the Murphy bed is left set up anyway. The website images for the studio show a bathtub but there was no bathtub in the studio. This was disappointing as we needed access to a bath for our children. There was only a shower in the studio. The website also said there was a kettle. The kettle unfortunately was a plug in coffee pot so we had to boil water in a pot on the stove to make tea. The ceilings were low for my 6"4 husband and the window was small to enjoy the beautiful view. Fortunately it was beautiful weather in the morning to enjoy view from outside on the spacious decks. There was an instruction book indicating the apartment guests do not have access to the main indoor guest area which is not clear until arrival. The light switch for the studio is somehow wired into the apartment circuitry so that it unintentionally turns off the television

Bad surprise, when we arrive, the place was under construction. No common areas available, no outdoor seating, no nice terrasse overlooking the St-Laurent, which was the main reason we choose the place and paid high price for a room. Misrepresentation. No heads up by the owner, even if we sent message by Booking. When we arrived, there was nobody around, no indication, phone number indicated at Booking was going on a voicemail, (same when we called before the date and never get back to us). Had to bother another guess who was also puzzled but at least had someone number to call. Called, very short conversation (at least got the name of the room) and the person said they did not care about Booking.com. Well, well. The room was ok, good if you like 80’ holly hobby and shabby shack style, but the coffee machine was all dirty, took us a while to clean and scrub.

Beautiful view

Maison Victoria is ideally located right outside La Malbaie, a little bit off the main road. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view over the Saint-Lawrence river. Communication with the owner over the phone was convenient.

The B&B was undergoing extensive renovations during our stay, which was not indicated in the description. There was no actual work going on during our visit, and we were not disturbed by construction noise. Access and parking remained easy. Breakfast was not served though, which was a little bit of a disappointment to us, given the raving reviews from former travelers. Sound proofing between the rooms could be improved.

The studio was well set up and the décor wonderful. Loved the colours and all the equipment.

Outside patio area was not available because of renovations.

Highly recommend this BnB to anyone looking for a weekend/week away in the beautiful Charlevoix region. Every suite has a stunning,unobstructed view of the river...we stayed in the Saint Lawrence suite. Arlene has been running this place for 20+ years and it is a true gem! The breakfasts every morning were AMAZING...incredible spread with classic Quebecois breakfast classics: quiche, crepes with maple butter, pâté, a nice selection of cheeses and meats and more. Love this place — we will be back and will be sending all our friends as well!!

The location is simply amazing, enchanting and it is less than 5 minutes away from the center La Malbaie. By far the best breakfast I’ve had of the whole trip. The service is beyond any expectations. The staff is so courteous, friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Superhost, probably the best host we have ever meet. Top Level Breakfast especially home made waffle. Great! Super suggested !!
