Ocean House Hotel at Bass Rocks

The vow was beautiful. Firepit was wonderful.

Bathroom was small and no blow dryer.

Fantastic location across the street from the water. Nice size room. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Far enough away from the downtown to avoid noise but near enough by car for the restaurants and activities.

Our particular room needs help. The screen door is off the tractor mainly because the trach has bern flattened. The bathroom lights and outlet didn't work. However, the hotel repaired the lights and outlet very quickly.

Location was great. Beautiful views of ocean. Room was comfortable.

Not very good breakfast considering price of hotel. Bathroom was dated. No hooks or place to hang towels. Not good lighting in room. Maid did not replenish tissues even though I left put empty box. I expected more since it was pricey.

The advertised room was NOT what I received. It was supposed to be a Suite OVER looking the water. What I got was a TINY room that when you opened the door it hit the bathroom door on the right. Our room was positioned so that everyone who was walking outside sees right into our suite - so, we had to keep the curtain pulled at all times of the day. Bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan so difficult to vent. Phone didn't work. I had to walk to the front desk to ask a question. I did not find the staff very friendly and when I told them about the phone, they didn't offer to come fix it. They just offered a perfunctory "sorry".
