Do not hesitate to book this VRBO the location is perfect all balconies and outside area had the most amazing views of walled city. This apartment gives the best authentic feel of Cartagena and Rossana and Martin’s hospitality was the best. It made us not even want to leave the VRBO. Decor of apartment is so neat on each level. Spa/Pool outside we used every night so peaceful, air conditioning was perfect coming in from Colombian heat after walking around the city. There wasn’t a thing we couldn’t walk to, location is so convenient. We were so sad when we had to leave and definitely will be back:) Thank you for the amazing hospitality Rossana and Martin!

What an amazing experience staying at Rosanna’s apartment in the walled city. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and the AC was perfect to come back to after exploring the city in the heat. My kids loved the pool, although we have to watch them closely as it’s on the roof top. The pool was a great place to relax after a morning or afternoon of walking. We also loved Ada, she cooked a wonderful breakfast for my family every morning as well as made our beds and did some laundry. It was nice coming home with clean clothes. Overall the stay was 5 star and we only stay at vrbos when we travel due to ease with kids. Thank you Rosanna for the wonderful stay and hospitality!!

The photos of the property were great but they don’t nearly tell the story. In a lot of ways the property looks bigger than advertised. Great decor gave it a unique personality. The stairs may be a a bit much for some people but they weren’t even a factor to me and I’m not in the greatest of shape. Water pressure and temperature in certain bathrooms might be the only drawback I can think of but I would stay here again because it seems like Rosanna has taken the time to provide everything you would need which shows she cares about the place and will probably fix that. Ada kept the place very clean, was very helpful, and cooked a delicious breakfast (if you opt for that). Overall, a great place to stay

Our host Rossana rented out our apartment to someone else before we arrived without letting us know.
We had no hot water available for showers. The host was sending maintenance people in to the apartment without notice at all times of the day.
Due to the lack of hot water and lack of proper security we ended up moving to a hotel.
We have small children and proper services and security is always most important to us.
We would recomend avoiding this host and her properties at all cost, not woth the hassles...

The location is perfect and the property is very comfortable and kept spotless by the wonderful housekeeper and cook Ada. She was so pleasant and prepared a delicious breakfast and lunch every day. Cleaning and cooking staff are often available but she was exceptional and deserves 5+stars.

Gorgeous flat, dynamite location, wonderful host
My family of five had a wonderful stay last week! The flat is just lovely and in a wonderful location on the edge of the city. The roof deck and small pool were great to relax in after a day of walking around. An easy walk to the marina for departures to the islands. Rosanna and her husband are lovely. She was super helpful with restaurant recommendations, covid testing and even a ride to the airport! We have VRBO'ed several times and this is one of our favorites "Mom, you hit it out of the park". Highly recommend.

A month in Cartagena
My girlfriend and I rented the apartment for the month of February to escape the cold of the Northeast US. We booked the apartment through Greg Hills and were met by Jorge upon arrival. Several days after our arrival we were notified by Rosanna that the apartment had sold and that Jorge would be tying up loose ends over the next few days. Jorge was replaced by Anna, but unlike Jorge who lived in the apartment with you, Anna arrived each morning and went home at the end of the work day. While we were originally very concerned about the change, it ended up working to our benefit. Jorges room was attached to the kitchen and we felt like we were disturbing him each time we went to fix a snack or meal. Anna arrived each morning to prepare coffee and breakfast. Both she and Jorge are fabulous cooks. The remainder of the day Anna would clean, change linens, etc..
Rosanna and her team were continuously upgrading the amenities while we were there adding new sheets, towels and toiletries. She also upgraded the kitchen with new dishes, air fryer, knives, waffle/panini press, etc. Rosanna also filled in for Jorge by scheduling covid tests, taking us to buy jewelry, scheduling excursions., etc. Rosanna works for a company that owns a hotel and another unit in the building. I believe they may have other properties. They are very experienced.
The apartment itself is exactly as the pictures show. It is the lively part of town right next to all the major attractions. The Cathedral, San Pedro Claver Church, the Clock Tower, and port were all within a few minutes walk at most. There are shops, restaurants and street vendors right outside of the front door.
The only downside was the new owners were upgrading, painting, deep cleaning while we were there. Some of it was appreciated but some of it was a bit inconvenient. We did not have outside seat cushions for about a week as they were sent off to be cleaned. We asked for the painting to stop on one occasion b/c of the fumes. I have no doubt Rosanna and her team will have the place looking great in short order and most of the interruptions we experienced will end.

I will start by saying I was born and raised in Cartagena, and was looking for a place to stay and gather with family. This place was perfect and I hope to come back next year. First, the feel, ambiance and decor reveal that it belongs to someone who went to Cartagena and fell in love with the city, its people and its culture. Greg's photography is all over the house and it's stunning. The location is unbeatable and New Years in the terrace is amazing with fireworks all over the city. Lastly, Jorge and Billy are amazing! Billy's food is fantastic and Jorge is the most helpful and wonderful human being. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable and accommodated every request (I had a long list of things I wanted to eat after not coming to Colombia for two years). He even sent my daughter's sunglasses to fix when they broke without asking. You should book this place fast, you will not regret it. I do want to note there are stairs and it is noisy at night, but so fun to be in the middle of everything. Thank you Greg, Billy and Jorge for a wonderful time.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Close to everything in the walled city and since it’s near the edge, we never got lost finding our way back home at night. Everything was included - sheets, toiletries, towels, pool towels, coffee, water, etc. Also have the option to have meals made for you for a small fee. Jorge was super accommodating and was able to get our covid tests scheduled for us at the house. Would 100% stay here again!!

This was a perfect spot for our group visiting Cartagena— I’d highly recommend. We had breakfast made for us in the morning by the amazing Grace, and then Jorge was there to make sure we had everything we need. The location was perfect… especially since it was close to the port and we did many day trips. You will definitely love your time here!
