Danke Mieter für eine tolle Saison. Es war mir eine Freude, so viele von euch wieder zu haben.
Anfang 2018 wurden wir geschmackvoll renoviert. Badschränke und Armaturen wurden aktualisiert, wir haben im Obergeschoss "sonnengebleichten" Premium-Laminatboden eingebaut, neu lackiert und größere Deckenventilatoren hinzugefügt. An der Wand des Familienzimmers befindet sich eine 55-Zoll-LED.
Diese Villa ist ideal für zwei Familien oder eine Familie mitbringen, die Großeltern für einen vergnüglichen Familienurlaub. Hier ist der Grund:
• Aufgrund der Lage im Vergleich zu anderen Einheiten in der Anlage, sind wir 2 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand Parkplatz, und nur noch 2 Minuten vom Strand entfernt Parkplatz zum Strand. Weitere 3-Zimmer-Einheiten sind eine weitere Minute + weiter und sind gegenüber dem Pool, der laut in der Nacht bekommt.
• Dieses 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 1/2 Bäder Villa ist ein Erdgeschoss Zugriffseinheit (keine Treppe mit Stühlen und einem Kühler und kein Aufzug zu klettern, zu warten). Es ist ruhig mit allen neuen Möbeln und einer neuen Küche. Dies ist eine End-Gerät Villa mit einem großen seitlichen und hinteren Terrasse für Sonnenbaden am Nachmittag, während die Kinder Nickerchen. Dieser Bereich wird großen Schatten am Nachmittag, die andere nicht. Die Seitenschiebetüren (b / c es ist eine End-Gerät) in einer Menge von natürlichem Licht. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie die Terrasse Bilder von anderen Einheiten sehen.

Der große schattige Schwimmbad hat Toiletten. 'Adventure Cove', ein gesundes Kinder-Entertainment-Bereich, ist ein sehr kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Es gibt auch gute Restaurants bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Overall, the condo was very well-suited for four of us. The downstairs is very large and open, with a huge TV and two doors that open up to the patio. The kitchen is also very well stocked with all plates, pots, pans, utensils, and coffee makers - pretty much everything you would need. And the location was great - a very easy walk to the beach. I also enjoyed how quiet it was. All communication with ownership was prompt and courteous. I feel like there were some easy updates that could be made cosmetically speaking but nothing that prevented us from enjoying all that the condo had to offer.

We enjoyed meals and sun and storytime on the patio areas together. The outdoor spaces are beautiful! The kids spent loads of time in the condo's shared pool. The bedrooms are laid out nicely upstairs, with a main bath and a ensuite which worked very nicely.
The Folly Field public beach access closed Sept 11 for rebuilding work until November 17 which was a disappointment as the next nearest beach accesses are about 15 minutes walk or a 3 minute drive - Islanders Beach or Bradley Beach or Burke's beach. Bradley Beach parking was free while we were there(parking meter was out of order), Islander was $1/hr (quarters only). So sunrise beach walks were a longer that anticipated - but absolutely beautiful - and this is not the owner's fault. Apparently the beach access was last renovated about 30 years ago, so this is a rare issue.
The front door area smelled like wet dog when we first arrived but we just rolled up the 2 rugs at the front door, put them in the closet, and wiped down the floors and that eliminated the smell in short order. It is a pet friendly rental, after all.
The kitchen was nice - we cooked lots of our own food. Walmart or Publix are just 10 minutes away.
It was a quiet place to stay, and we had a lovely time. We'd come back again!

Short walk to beach is accurate. The beach is beautiful! Enjoyed the bar/restaurant across the street.
I was told by the owner the pool would be closed but it was being cleaned so the kids went in !! Very cold ( not heated) but they loved it!

PLEASE NOTE: We stayed at STONE'S THROW 44. At the last minute we had to be located there since Night Heron was under renovation. We enjoyed staying here very much! Everything was just as described in the write up. It had everything one would need. The location is good and it is quiet on the end of the units giving affording wonderful private patio to sit and sip coffee and/or enjoy sun until midday. It is an easy 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach plus it is a good location for grocery stores, particularly our favorite Publix. The only thing that might be a problem for some people that is not mentioned in the description is that it is 2 stories and the stairs are rather steep and potentially slippery being painted wood. We were able to maneuver alright but for anyone elderly, such as grandparents who they advertise this for, you might want to mention it. Communication with the owners was excellent and the check in and out was a piece of cake. Though we were disappointed that we did not get what we originally wanted, this worked out very well and met our needs for a vacation at the beach giving us a reprieve from a big snow storm waiting for us when we got home! Thank you and we hope to use Beach Bum Rentals again next year. We recommend this.

We had a party of eight for four nights. Accommodations were a bit dated and ill appointed but the beds were comfortable, towels and amenities along with the showers/tub were clean and readily available. There were plenty of dishes, silverware, prep bowls, utensils, and the appliances were clean and worked well.
The only criticism is the floors were dirty and sticky. A steam cleaner would be helpful for getting the grime off the plank and tile floors.

We all really enjoyed our stay in unit 44. It was immaculately clean. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. Our meeting was held in the tennis resort right across the street. The kids 13, 9, and 5 didn't mind the walk to the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the ocean. There was plenty of towels, dishes pots and pans, even games and beach toys. We would love to stay again next year. This was a good value for our money.

The rules are only to make it easier for the cleaning crew. when I arrived there was a bag of garbage in front step. The patios should have blown to remove leaves from ground, chairs and tables. Some of the patio chairs had puddles of water. Everything else was perfect.

Wonderful family vacation!
Loved the proximity to the beach and shopping (the bar across the street was a fantastic find)! The pool is a hidden gem! This condo house our family of 8 (including 4 teenaged boys) well. We were pleased with it. Beach is easily reached with the walking/bike path and isn't too far to haul all of our stuff. Having the use of the extra cart and chairs was helpful as well.

WEEK VACATION
We spent a week with our 2 adult children. Everything was clean & perfect. Back patio was enjoyable and front patio is perfect for storing bikes/beach items. A short walk to beach and sports bar across the street has great burgers. They have all beach needs. Beach buggy cart to push coolers, books, chairs & supplies to beach, beach umbrellas and more. Large rooms. Could use some updating but perfect for the beach.

44Stones Throw was the perfect getaway! The home was clean and well appointed. It was very quiet and the best part was that you could walk to the beach! No worrying about parking or lugging equipment! Perfect spot!

The unit was in a great location on the island with easy access, close to the ocean and quiet. It was very well equipped. The washer and dryer were awesome. Kitchen appliances a pleasant surprise. The beds were very comfortable; however, the couches were extremely uncomfortable. I would highly recommend that the owners look at upgrading those 2 pieces and the screens on the windows. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing 41 days. Thank you.

This was a great condo and the property manager was very responsive. We did have a bit of an issue with ants, but I think that may have just been the season.

Great spot
The property was great and in a perfect location with a 2-3 min walk to the beach. The only issues we had weren't huge issues but still a bother.
1. There were ants on the kitchen countertops.
2. The cleaning service didn't clean prior to us coming. The floors had a black film on them that turned our feet solid black. It also wasn't swept and there was sand everywhere.
However, it was easy to communicate with the property manager. The area turned off the water to fix an issue but the manager was able to let us know about the situation and how long it would be. The unit was great other than those few things. The people were very nice and the area was quiet during the night. Overall, I do recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the beach.

Jim and Margot are great to work with, could not be more accommodating, quickly responsive to any questions or needs! This is our second stay in this unit. Very clean, some updates to the unit have been implemented. The only humble suggestion I would offer to Jim and Margo would be to perhaps update the upholstered furnishings in the first floor living area 🙂.

Labor Day at stones throw
Great time here with my buddies. House was spacious enough for 8 people. Walk to beach was only 5 minutes or so. Price was fair. All we could ask for

We enjoyed our stay at 44 Stones Throw! This was our first time in Hilton Head, so we did not know what to expect, but the other reviewers were helpful and true. The location was perfect, easy to get to the beach, grocery and restaurants. The condo was perfect for my husband and I with our adult children. More than enough kitchen supplies to cook and plenty of space to enjoy evening meals together followed by card games into the night. Many memories made this week. Thank you!!!
