Quiet and comfortable. Check in was easy and resort area was great!

Mr. Tim the easiest host I have worked with. The lovely home was spot on to everything that was mentioned. The tinder interrupted our time at the pool each day. My granddaughters age from 1 to 10 were happy staying at the house. Between board games and just having the best time at the house, the girls didn’t mind not being able to swim. The girls and I did happened to met with Mother Nature. While out riding on a golf cart me met a momma bear and her children. I do believe the bears were as scared as the girls and myself. These little high pitched screams set off and the cub took off running to run up a tree.We definitely want to return our visit with Rumbling Bald Resort. We want to return to this same home as well.

My family and my sister’s family got together at this property for Thanksgiving. It was spacious and allowed the kids to play and the grownups to relax in another room where we could talk and hang out. Everyone was comfortable, and the resort looked fun—though it was a bit too cold for us to fully explore this time.

There were several things that made this stay less than 5 star. Several of the bunk beds had broken support boards and we did not feel they were safe to use. The queen bed had a mattress that was extremely hard. There were not enough blankets for the cold weather. Fortunately I had brought some from home. The house was not well supplied. We had to go out and find paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. The WiFi was not working. We had to contact the owner multiple times before we finally got some assistance from the provider. The owner didn’t even know where the modem was located. We had a great time with all of the family together, but we were disappointed in the accommodations.
