Great accommodations- one bed too firm for our liking but others great. Dripping bathroom tub/tap but did not affect use. Great location and has all you need in kitchen.

The property was good and location was superb. The house itself was clean and in good condition. Few things of note that we have communicated to the property manager/owner - the patio does not have a sunshade and there are no cushions on the patio chairs, the bathtub faucet and handle are very loose and wobbly and the microwave was working on and off (1 in 20 times). The owner was responsive and has said that they purchased a new microwave. We have also sent a list of a few other minor improvements- garbage bin in laundry room, shoe rack or storage bin, towel shelf in bathroom, window covers on patio doors, etc. that would make future guests stay more comfortable. Another major note is that the back yard is not fully enclosed with open access to the road. So if you have young childen or dogs you need to watch them at all times. Other than that, the location was close to the beach. The house had wi-fi, netflix, red flyer wagon, umbrella stroller, pack and play, change pad, etc which was very convinient for us as we had 3 young children with us. That was great! If the owner takes the time to make the above mentioned improvements the property would get an excellent rating.

It was a pleasure to communicate with the owners, they were prompt in replies and very helpful. Great location, very close to the beach, just a short walk. I will definitely first check the availability of this place when planning vacations in that area in the future.

We loved our stay at this house. The kitchen was fully stocked, house was ready with everything we needed! The back yard was huge and great for the kiddos to play in. The distance to the beach was perfect! We would come back!

We were very pleased with our accommodations. It is just a couple blocks from Skaha Lake. There is a beautiful yard for the kids to play in and the BBQ is fantastic! Fully equipped kitchen! Great AC gave us an escape from the heat. There were a couple things that needed attention...nothing major though. If you are a picky housekeeper you may notice that some corners get missed (behind toilet and under vanity, facet in tub was very loose, toilet paper holder fell off wall, wine bottle opener was broken, but like I said not major. I would have appreciated a couple laundry pods to get started but we just bought some:) I highly recommend this place to any family who wants to feel at home away from home!

We stayed at this house for 7 days at the end of July 2017 and overall, it was a good stay. The house is tastefully decorated and definitely has a beach house feel. It was a good size and layout for our family of 5 (kids 10, 9 & 3). It's best feature is definitely the location and proximity to Skaha beach. The air conditioner cooled off the kitchen and living room nicely and the fans in the bedrooms helped to keep the bedrooms cool. The beds were very comfortable, with soft sheets, and we had great sleeps. It was nice to have a washer and dryer on site to wash our beach towels and bathing suits every night. We also made use of the Wifi and the cable.    The backyard is huge but we didn't spend any time there because there was no shelter from the sun, and no activities / games available. The patio table was nice but it gets direct sun from 7am - 8pm so it was very hot. We ate dinner out there one night, but it wasn't until 7:30pm, once the temperature had dropped some.   While the house was stocked with all of the essentials, there were a few "extras" that we've experienced in other VRBO's that would have been nice to have here: - Cooking spray, aluminum foil, ziploc bags, condiments or spices (there was s&p) - No Kleenex - No ice cube trays (We were told that there used to be some but must have been taken by a previous guest) - We were unable to get the BBQ to heat up and had to rely on the kitchen stove and oven to cook all of our meals. (We were advised that we'd receive some compensation for this but haven't received anything). - The shower had very low water pressure. - The living room furniture was not comfortable - futon was really loud, squeaky and thin. The couches are very firm. - The house is a good size for a family with children, but there are no real amenities for children:         - no plastic dishes or small cups         - no board games         - no dvd player         - no backyard toys / games or beach toys   There were some nice touches in the house (complimentary bottle of wine, fresh flowers) but I would have rather passed on these to have some kitchen condiments and Kleenex.   We ordered food from Skaha pizza one night and it was excellent. Gilligans is great for ice cream en route to the beach - more flavors and much cheaper than Tickleberry's that's right on the beach.   We did enjoy our stay but think it could really be a 5-star with a few minor additions/changes as noted above.

We were staying at the house due to it being very close to some of the wineries...we were attending a wedding at one of the said wineries! It was very clean, very well equipped, and when we found ourselves in the middle of a heat wave (40ºC at one point), we requested another fan for the bedrooms (as there were only two fans and three bedrooms), the owners told us to buy a fan and they would reimburse us, which I thought was very kind of them! The garden was big, well kept, and clean, and there are no bad things I can say about this place! Hopefully if I ever go back to Penticton, I will most definitely stay here again!!

Very comfortable, well equiped house. Easy access to Skaha Lake beach as well as a short drive to most shopping requirements. Quiet neighborhood on regularly scheduled city bus route. Very pleasant stay.

Perfect vacation home! The house was very warm and inviting and was perfect for a family with young children. The house was spotless and was well stocked. The air conditioning was SO nice. And the backyard had lots of room to play. The parks and Skaha lake were close and the owners were easy to deal with. We can't wait to come visit again.

We had such a great stay at this lovely home. The house had a huge open floor plan and was warmly decorated with a beach house feel. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The patio was great for BBQ'ing and the pergola had patio lights for cozy evenings. The backyard was big enough so we could play badminton or volleyball. The lake, marina, volleyball courts, and tennis courts were all within a short walk. The owners were so friendly and were prompt at any questions we had. We highly recommend this house.

It was a very good experience and we would definitely stay there again. However, just a couple small improvements that we thought would make the stay that much better. 1. Fix the window in the bedroom. It got stuffy in there. 2. We would have loved to watch more football so maybe some upgraded cable. 3. The bed/couches in the family room were of poor quality and uncomfortable (in our opinion) perhaps an upgrade their is a thought. 4. A fenced yard would have been very nice as we had small children and we were constantly needing to run after them to stay in the back yard and not play near the road where we could not see them. It would have been nice to to just relax and know that they would stay in the safety of the back yard. All in all it was great and we plan on coming back next year. Thank you so much.

Loved staying at this guest house. Just close enough to the beach but so quiet. We really enjoyed our evebing glass of wine in the backyard, enjoying the quiet and the warm weather. The kitchen was very well stocked, and our 10-month olds loved crawling around the large open living space. Would highly recommend and love to stay there again!

The house was extremely clean and had all the amenities that a beach house would need! We will always want to stay at this house when we go to Penticton.

The house was in immaculate condition and had everything we needed. The owners were easy to get a hold of for questions and arrangements before we arrived. Short easy walk to the beach, big back yard for kids to play. Would absolutely stay there again next time we go to Penticton.

We enjoyed our month in this property. Easy access to all local amenities, attractions, shopping and Hwy 97. Well equiped, easy to maintain and plenty of room.

This house is ideally located near the beach and also a short drive to surrounding wineries. Great clean house at a great rate! I would definitely recommend this house for families or guests looking to stay in the area. Lots of parking. and definitely beats staying at a hotel or motel!
