The little town of Tropic is a great base for visiting Bryce. This house is in a quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to the downtown amenities. We loved the Canyon Coffee shop and the IDK BBQ place!
Our accommodations were comfortable enough in a vintage style Bathroom and kitchen are well equipped. Very homey.

Just as advertised. A great, old farmhouse with a fantastic yard and lots of charm. I grew up in an old house so felt right at home. The dogs loved the yard. It was the perfect place to chill after a day hiking at Bryce.

Had a very relaxing stay at this cozy, rustic farmhouse. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood close to lots of parks. Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome State Park, Red Canyon and my favorite Fairyland Canyon (just before the entrance to Bryce Canyon on your left) are all within about 25 minutes. Each of them are beautiful and well worth the visit. Also check out the waterfall at Mossy Cave. I thought the grocery store in Tropic was the best stocked in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Our party of four adults enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is 90 years old, but the owner is very up front about that. The property was clean, and easily met our needs. Very serene. Owner is very responsive. Would stay again.

My wife, myself, and our dog stayed in this home for a week. We did several fun hikes in the area, including Willis Creek Slot Canyon, Cascade Falls, Kodachrome State Park, and Ashdown Gorge.
It was really nice to have 2 full baths, a full kitchen, and a big bed. The fridge kept things refreshingly cold, and the pizza place in town was surprisingly good. Our dog loved the yard, and the 3 of us sat out on the front porch every evening while we ate dinner.
My wife and I both worked part-time while we were there and didn't have any problems with the internet. It was reliable and worked just fine for video meetings (simultaneous) and remote desktop needs.
One of our favorite memories is sitting on the front porch and hearing the fruit drop from the trees. A very uncommon experience for us!

This was a great place with a lot of charm. Comfy, clean and easy to locate not too far from Bryce Canyon. Saw some wildlife right in the yard! Would definitely stay here again!

Glass door knobs, original hardware on the farmhouse cabinets, deer coming in the evening to eat apples from the tree in the yard, it was great. Quiet neighborhood and close to groceries and gas.

Loved our stay at the 1930 farmhouse. There was more than enough space for four adults, beds where very comfortable, we had more than enough towels. Loved having breakfast in the quaint kitchen. We enjoyed coming home after a day of hiking and relaxing on the porch, and enjoy some quiet time, we were visited by deer and lots of birds. Had dinner at the Rustler on our first night, delicious food and very friendly service. On our second night we dined at the Pines, also delicious especially the pies! Tom was wonderful to work with, he provided lots of useful information which made our stay much more pleasant. One of the best owners I’ve dealt with, thank you Tom!
Just a few minutes from Bryce Canyon park it was the ideal place for us!

This farmhouse is definitely a walk back in time. Like visiting my grandmas house. Cute nooks and crannies with a lot of pátina. We would stay again.

We each had a bedroom with comfortable beds and pillows. Drinks, cheese and crackers in the living room. Cooked dinner at the home and found the kitchen well stocked. This quaint place was an unexpected delight.

This cozy farm house has all the basics and is a 15 minute drive from the entrance to Bryce Canyon. MUCH preferred staying here to the more touristy options closer to the canyon. Beautiful front yard with fruit trees blooming in the front yard. Great bird watching just sitting on the front porch. Town has a small grocery store and a handful of restaurants.

Tom’s farmhouse is very well equipped with everything you need. The kitchen supplies are for people who like to cook, beds were comfortable, and the location is ideal for visiting Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome, and other nearby hiking trails. Tom was very communicative throughout the entire process. We enjoyed our short stay and would return again.

We enjoyed this cute, old fashioned home. It was in a peaceful, quiet area with a nice, big, grassy yard that our dogs loved! Plenty of room for a small group and everything was clean and in working order. It reminded me of my grandmas house! It’s located just a short, pretty drive from Bryce Canyon.

This old farmhouse had a lot of character and was an amazing spot to stay in order to access Bryce. It was so well equipped: the kitchen, washer/ dryer etc.
The only thing was some furniture really dated: couch but honestly we never sat down as we were out hiking!

The farmhouse and Tropic, Utah worked out great for our spring break vacation. Besides Bryce Canyon we took a day trip to Capitol Reef National Park. Food options in Tropic worked out great too. We enjoyed IDK BBQ and The Pizza Place. Also picked up breakfast and lunch food at Clarke’s.

the house was charming and had character! It was winter with plenty of snow, so we didn't get to enjoy the yard. Maybe a visit in the summer.

My family and I wanted to do something different for the Thanksgiving holiday, go somewhere quiet, quaint, and we wanted to take our dogs. We decided on Tropic UT because this little farm house checked off all the boxes and was near Bryce Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially the dogs. We would recommend staying at the farm house to anyone wanting to feel at home and cozy in a place away from home.

The house was very clean and comfortable. It had an “old world” charm and was like taking a step back in time! Very nice! Would stay there again!

This sweet older home was perfect for our stay. It was in a very quiet neighborhood and the fenced yard was a big plus for our dog. It is close to the places where we hiked and very comfortable. Tom, the host, was great and answered all my texts quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. If you're looking for the charm of an old farmhouse, this is great. The 20+ deer that would come to the backyard in the evening was a bonus for the kids!

My husband and I had a very comfortable stay at the farmhouse. There are some rooms that could use some updating ( kitchen and bathrooms), but the house was clean and warm and the king-size bed was comfy. And we thought the wood pellet stove was wonderful. The outdoor temperature dropped into the 30s the day after we arrived; the stove kept us warm. The Wi-Fi is excellent and the TV has many options. Tom was an excellent host. He responded almost immediately to any questions or requests we sent him. He also went above and beyond the call of duty replacing the washing machine which had stopped working, spending more than half day trying to get the original machine to work, then finding a another machine and installing it when the original couldn’t be repaired. This is a good place for families to stay, only 8 miles from Bryce and 1/2 hour from Grand Escalante.

This charming 1930's farmhouse has completely up to date amenities: fast internet, comfortable beds and pillows, good heating system and hot water, and even a wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped. The tiny town of Tropic is only a short scenic drive from Bryce Canyon. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, it's a perfect location.

We stayed for 5 nights and were very comfortable. A short drive to Bryce Canyon NP and a longer drive to Grand Staircase Escalante. Both locations are awesome. The cottage is quite old and quirky but is well equipped. We loved watching the deer in the garden tucking in to the fruit that had fallen from the trees

This was our second stay at this delightful Tropic farmhouse, and it was just as wonderful as our first. This time, though, there was a beautiful doe that came in and out of the yard throughout each day to eat apples and rest in the shade of the tree they fell off of! Icing on the cake!! I can’t recommend this sweet house enough!! Visited Bryce and Zion again as well. Just breathtaking! 🏡❤️

We had a wonderful experience during our stay in Tropic. The deer were literally outside our door. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to the entrance of Bryce. The check-in / check-out process was extremely simple. I would stay here again if I was coming back to Bryce with a group of anywhere from 2-6 people (maybe even 8 if a couple were kids).
