My fiancé and I had a wonderful 3 nights here. The property is gorgeous and so are the views. Lori is an amazing host and helped us with all of our needs. One of the many things that we loved, was the fact that the pool was cold. The weather was extremely hot while we were in Costa Rica and this was the ONLY place we stayed that had a cold pool.
I highly recommend ordering the in-house prepared meals. The food was absolutely delicious.
We love it so much there, that my now fiancé proposed to me during our stay.

Elevated high above Uvita, the property extended views into both the Jungle and the Pacific Ocean below.
The facilities were good and it provided us an excellent platform to explore the surrounding area.
Lori was pleasant to deal with, provided good information to get there and the facilities in the local area.
Note - 4x4 is a must!
We hired a local guide in Uvita and were shown Sloths, Monkeys, Cayman, Macaws and a Tree Boa (Snake)!
Definitely recommend this and a Whale/ Dolphin Tour.
Local restaurants/ bars are good.
Particularly enjoyed the Craft pub 'Uvita Beer Garden' situated off the road on the way up to the house.
Also, recommend heading right out of the property, up the hill and take in sunset across the Ocean - Stunning!

Finka Khan was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. The open air concept overlooking the ocean, in the middle of the rain forest…perfection. We saw so many beautiful birds. The hiking trails were well maintained. The location was close enough to town that you could drive to restaurants/markets. As noted by the host, you will need a 4x4.

We had the most amazing stay at this jungle retreat. Everything was as depicted. It was peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and frankly a piece of heaven on earth. We enjoyed the open concept, wildlife sights and sounds. Toucans, monkeys, blue morpho butterflies and more. My husband, daughter and I did not want to leave. Beautiful views, private and safe setting. Lori was quick to respond to any questions or needs before and during our stay. She had excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We were sad to leave but hope to return someday. Thanks for a great stay!

Very clean, very open house. No walls except for the bedrooms and bathrooms. A little hard to get to even with a 4x4 but once there it was very enjoyable.

Just perfect!
We so enjoyed our stay at Finca Kahn! The house is a dream nestled in the mountains with a water view on one side and the other up against the jungle.
Lori and Bobby, the hosts were great! I would recommend this house to anyone!

I must have missed the fact that there was no AC so it was difficult to cool down. The first floor of the house could use a big fan. The fact that all the cabinets and frig needed to be locked was inconvenient for cooking. The kitchen could use a peeler and a strainer. The driveway is very loud when others drive by. It was an experience in true outdoor Tico living!

Great place in the jungle
Amazing view, very cool waking up in the jungle to the monkeys and birds. Lori and Bobby were great hosts, really enjoyed spending time with them. Very attentive and accommodating.

Amazing getaway!
We spent a little over a week here and loved every minute of it! Lori was absolutely incredible with everything, she helped us book some of our activities, gave us pointers on what to do in the area. The house was fantastic, the views spectacular and all of the animals that showed up to the house made it that much better! We were constantly entertained and will definitely be back!

Unique Rainforest House
My family, my wife and 12-year-old daughter and her friend, enjoyed this unique house. If you are looking for a unique experience, this house will not disappoint. Lori and Bobby are great hosts and freely provide a myriad of suggested activities in and around the property and area. The open kitchen on the ground floor is spectacular, allowing for meals to be prepared and consumed while enjoying the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Yes, an occasional insect will fly into this open air space but that too is the beauty of the experience. Being situated some 1000 feet above sea level, the air remained rather cool but damp. The two fully enclosed bedrooms "upstairs" allowed for a comfortable night's sleep with only the ceiling fan on. Air conditioning at this altitude was not a necessity and coolness provided our family with a brief respite from the heat of the coast. The small dipping pool was fun for the girls and provided hours of entertainment for us all, particularly in the evening with the pool lights on. The wifi was spotty at best and although all of our devices had a high signal strength from the local access point, we could not obtain a consistent connection in any of our four devices. This was only important insofar as we were unable to complete COVID documentations and scheduling requirements in preparation for our departure. Overall, a wonderful place!! Highly recommended for those looking for a unique accommodation situated in a rainforest. NOTE: As others have stated, a 4WD vehicle is a must to get this property.

Beautiful remote getaway to fully unplug
We had a lovely time. It's a great place to completely unplug from the rest of the world. We had anticipated having a stable WiFi connection at the house though, and the WiFi didn't work (so weak it couldn't send a text). I wish we had known this in advance, we would have planned accordingly. If you're hoping to find a place to disconnect from the world, this is a great option. But if you need to be connected for work or travel planning, that might be difficult at this property.

We had an amazing time at this property. It was private and close to everything we needed. Groceries, restaurants and the beach are all about 5-10 minute drive down the mountain. We were surrounded by monkeys and toucans...it was really nice and the view was incredible. We also took a walk along the trails that lead us down to streams and a water pool, it was very cool to explore. Lori was super polite and available for any questions we had. The property is lovely. You are surrounded by jungle with a gorgeous view of the ocean just as depicted. As stated previously the howler monkeys are loud and disconcerting until you know what all the ruckus is about. LOL the property is immaculate.
Lori and Bobby are wonderful hosts and truly went above and beyond.
The only drawbacks were the steep,windy dirt road which was further than anticipated no problem if you don't plan to run around much. The outdoor stairs to the bathroom are a challenge at night but if you sleep all night not a problem, unfortunately I am up 2-3x a night. All in all a wonderful relaxing place especially since we were here in the hottest month.

True Open Concept
A beautiful open concept home. A little warm during the day but pleasant at night even without air conditioning. The howler monkeys are very loud although we never saw them. We did have a family of white face monkeys move thru the trees for about an hour. The lower hammock was the best place to watch them. Many toucans and other birds flew over all day. The house is very clean, stocked and well lit. Too far to walk to anything on such a steep and rocky road but it was never hard to get a driver. Spotty wifi but is what should be expected in the jungle. A wonderful nature house.

Fabulous Stay, Stunning Views
We could not have been happier with our stay. The house is gorgeous with lots of wild life to watch. The views are great, and the location is far enough from town and close enough to get to. Communication was very easy, Lori made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay one to remember. We were fortunate enough to have Gabby come in and cook a couple meals for us, fabulous, highly recommended. She made fantastic meals, presented beautifully and cleaned up. It was truly a pleasure.

Pleasant relaxing j jungle stay
We enjoyed our stay very much. Some of the things we enjoyed were:
Waking up to the sounds of the jungle at sunrise~ monkeys and birds. Relaxing to the sound of toucans, the cicadas song and the breeze blowing gently. Blue morph butterflies flitted through the air. And we saw some other wildlife. There are some hiking trails on the property. It’s just a short drive into Uvita for eating and supplies. Over all a very enjoyable place to stay! Lori was available for any questions and is very nice!
Other guests do use a driveway that passes just in front of the house and the pool is small. The kitchen is basic with a small fridge and a cooktop, but no oven. But with all the beauty of the setting, these are small matters.
Glamping is what we would call it and it was pleasant. 🦋�Thanks so much!

Privacy with an incredible view
Back to nature and an opportunity to let go and just”be still”. Comfortable bed and outdoor furniture to enjoy the beauty of the jungle. A small pool to relax in complete privacy. Kitchen could use some additional items. Great master bath and an adequate smaller bath. Outdoor stairs from bedroom to baths downstairs. The meal we requested was delicious and more than adequate. Yumm!

Private, comfortable jungle retreat
4 of us rented this home - it was very comfortable. The small pool at the home was very refreshing for when we needed to cool off. Lori (property manager) was VERY helpful through the entire process, from start to finish. She was very willing to book tours for us and suggest things to do in the area. There is a person on site to help with anything you may need.
If it's wildlife you are looking for, you should choose this home. Monkeys appear almost every morning and play in the trees, and even if you don't see them, you definitely hear them. We saw them and toucans almost daily, along with beautiful butterflies, frogs and other animals, as the jungle is steps from this home.
The home is equipped with a kitchen so you can cook your own meals, which we did do. It has two bedrooms and two baths - very nice home.
The home is just about 5 to 10 minutes outside of Uvita which is a very lovely little town. Uvita has plenty of restaurants to choose from and a nice size supermercado (BM Supermercado was the one we liked the best), but there is more than one there. If you stay there, be certain you have a 4 x 4 vehicle as the home is on a mountain road - it was a great experience overall for certain.

Ce fut un séjour exceptionnel dans un environnement fabuleux en compagnie de singes hurleurs!
Séjour en montagne mémorable faune et flore au rdv . Tout se passe à l’extérieur sauf les dodos! Le seul hic, nous étions en pleine saison des criquets! Ils deviennent assourdissants! Les proprios ajouteront sous peu une piscine au site. Les proprios nous ont aussi donné de bonnes références de restos et d’activités.

Great experience
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Vinca Khan house in the hills of the rain forest where we felt safe and yet experienced privacy. The property is gated and knowing Juan was on hand for any assistance we needed and of course Lori was just a text away making sure we could book fun activities with good companies made our stay even better.
We stayed during Christmas and after New Year so maybe the motor bikes and ATV traffic we heard from the main gravel road wouldn’t have been so bad on a non-holiday. We did notice the noise and got a little tired of hearing it, but our Howler Monkies helped drown out the noise at times.
We had wished the WiFi had been better so we could have streamed some movies, so we ended up playing a lot of cards.

Lovely
Our family of five stayed here for four nights and it was paradise. The view is amazing! You can see the ocean and jungle all around in a 360 degree panorama. It was private, yet felt very safe and secure. The kitchen area is rustic, but I think the trade off for simplicity is worth it. It had everything we needed and then some. Eating your meals outside with the view just never gets old. Lori was a gracious host and helped out with all of our questions. Our three small children chased lizards all day while listening to the monkeys howl. What can be better than that? I would come back again in a heartbeat.

Very private, lots of wildlife, and beautiful view!
We absolutely loved our stay here. It was so peaceful looking out at the ocean below, yet you are surrounded by the jungle. I loved being able to cook in the evenings, not being enclosed so I could just enjoy the view. With the high elevation, the temperatures were perfect.
We were able to see monkeys, toucans, and even a tayra! We enjoyed the trails that run through the property.
The owners are quick to help you with anything you might need. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Costa Rica.
