Das ursprüngliche Newhard Chalet, das von der Familie Newhard erbaut wurde, war das erste Ferienhaus in Snowmass Village, das 1967 gebaut wurde. Das aktuelle Newhard Chalet ist ein zeitgenössischeres Berghaus aus dem Jahr 2000. Das Haus erstreckt sich über drei Ebenen auf einem 2 Hektar großen Grundstück, das an einen Grüngürtel angrenzt. Das Haus ist von Espen und Fichten gesäumt.
Betreten Sie das Chalet in einem tollen Raum mit einer gemütlichen Sitzecke am Kamin, einem Essbereich mit zwei ovalen Tischen mit Sitzgelegenheiten auf Kapitänsstühlen für bis zu 20 Personen und einer großen, sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche, alle mit atemberaubendem Blick auf das Tal und die Berge. Eingang vom Wohn- / Essbereich zum Deck mit Gasgrill und Allwetterstühlen. Gäste-WC auf der Hauptebene. Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit eigener Terrasse und eigenem Bad befindet sich neben dem Wohnzimmer. Die obere Ebene führt zu einem Loft-Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten, einem Ausziehbett mit 2 Einzelbetten und einem Balkon-Loft mit 2 Einzelbetten sowie einem Vollbad. Untere Ebene verfügt über 3 Queen-Schlafzimmer, Familienzimmer mit Queen-Schlafsofa, 2 Vollbäder und Waschmaschine / Trockner. Das Familienzimmer öffnet sich zum Unterdeck mit großem Whirlpool.

The Newhard Chalet was perfect for our family Christmas vacation to Snowmass. The home was very comfortable and spacious for our two families. The kitchen was well supplied. Beds were comfortable and every room had a small humidifier. The hot tub was very relaxing after our ski days. We utilized the shuttles every day to either Snowmass mall ~5min, Aspen, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk. The bus stop was very close easily walkable with skis and ski boots. We had a great stay and would stay here again.

Amazing stay at this roomy chalet that is full of history and character. Seldom does a place actually look better than its pictures, but this place looks even better in person. The most well appointed VRBO I've ever stayed at, this place has EVERYTHING. I cannot say enough good things about this chalet, we had a great time and really appreciate it. Thank you, we hope to make the Newhard Chalet an annual stay.

Our family was there for a memorial service. It was a request that we all visit the Maroon Bells. So we did and it was beautiful!!!! We loved the home, the location and the area. We evem saw a moose. As a ski instructor i loved the ski memorabilia especially the Stein Erickson ," Ski with Me " book.
Percie and Rick were helpful and made the stay smooth and memorable.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It had a whole drawer full of spices and a cabinet full of liquids like vinegar and vanilla extract etc. The fridge had lots of staples like salad dressings and ketchup. Not the owners fault but the location turned out to be a 5-10 min drive to town center depending on traffic due to the road work going on into town. Some suggestions for the owners- a mattress topper for the king master bed which was uncomfortably firm and a lighter summer weight blanket that fits a king bed- and feather pillows not fat foam ones. ( and better pillows through out) Less beds- there were 4 people that stayed in our group. 2 working full time remotely and the other 2 who had to do remote zoom meetings. An office set up would have been nice for private conversations not in a bedroom setting. Or even a bedroom with a desk. We set up offices on one of the kitchen tables and the table in the lower level family room- but it was hard to keep quiet when the person had to speak on their zoom call when in a public part of the house. Lastly- we mostly chose this house because they allowed pets. It would have been nice if any part of the yard was mowed to avoid the 3’ tall prickers that were mixed in with the grass. Owner was supper nice to deal with and very helpful.

Easy access right off cul-de-sac street with ample parking provided.
Found everything as stated in good condition.
Garage is heated making waxing your skis a breeze.
Sledding equipment is on site that the kids put to good use.
Bus stop close by that can take you to all 4 resorts.
Everyone had a relaxing time.
Kitchen made it easy to prepare all the meals.
Steps and passage to Hot Tub all had heated pads that made getting around very safe with no fear of falling on ice.

This place is just magical. The Newhouse’s have had this land for so long and we loved the photos and artifacts of their family history throughout the house.
The house met every need of ours and slept our group comfortably. The hot tub was wonderful. The location is unbeatable as the bus stop 50 yards away provides short trips to all of the mountains. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and everything was clean and in order. Rick was also around to help with anything that came up.
10/10 it was a privilege to stay here and ski Aspen for the week!

We were two families who shared the house, and we could have easily fit a third family. Tons of space, great location right on the bus route to Snowmass and Aspen, well stocked kitchen, easy storage for our ski gear in the garage, four bathrooms and never ran out of hot water, and fast responses from the home owner with any questions. Would definitely rent this house again. Only thing to note, remember to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion - those weren’t provided in all the bathrooms.

This house is a gray location and is very true to the photos. There is plants of space and beds to easily accommodate 12-14 people. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment, spices, and cooking basics that made cooking in very easy. The house is a very short walk to the bus line and only three stops from the slopes. Would highly recommend others to stay!

We have nothing but amazing things to say about the Newhard Chalet! We booked this spot to house ourselves and close friends over our wedding weekend in Snowmass Village.
It is perfectly set-up for a large group, and everyone had comfortable sleeping arrangements.
The location can't be beat - and we enjoyed the brand new hot tub! Thanks to Persie and all for a fabulous stay.

This lodge/chalet was just a wonderful place for our trip with our kids and grandkids. Extremely suitable for large groups, clean, visually appealing, and well-situated close to Snowmass Village, the shuttle bus stop, and many fun activities. The hot tub is well-maintained and our kids and grandkids enjoyed it frequently. They also enjoyed the wildlife visible in the area, both on hikes and in the yard.
Persie was very responsive when we needed, and Rick (on-site caretaker) was accessible and pleasant. Would recommend this to anyone!

Excellent all around. The property is beautiful and was well stocked. Communication with Persie was wonderful. Rick, the property manager was kind and helpful. They added air conditioning which made the stay comfortable. In response to the comments about noise, we did not find the noise from the road any problem at all. We look forward to staying again.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable home. My family and extended family came to Snowmass for a family wedding. It was wonderful to have room for all of us and plenty of parking space.
The kitchen is amazing, it has everything you would ever need to cook and entertain a large group.
The hot tub was very appreciated after hiking and a night of dancing at the wedding. Overall one the best rental experiences I’ve had.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable home. My family and extended family came to Snowmass for a family wedding. It was wonderful to have room for all of us and plenty of parking space.
The kitchen is amazing, it has everything you would ever need to cook and entertain a large group.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our son's wedding at Lynn Britt Cabin in Snowmass. What a beautiful venue and such a beautiful part of CO.
The house was amazing for all of us with the hot tub, the huge kitchen and eating area where we could all enjoy our meals together. There were some great puzzles and over the six days we completed 5 puzzles and well as lots of games of scrabble.
The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of dishes, glasses and cutlery which is so important with a crowd of people.
Persie was great and got back to us right away with any questions we had before we arrived and she helped us with every detail.
I would recommend this property to any family or group.

Great group house
The house was very convenient and comfortable for our group of three families with children and teens. It was spacious enough for everyone and the kitchen was very well equipped to cook for a large group. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Although the house is just above the road going into Snowmass village, no one was bothered by any road noise. It was a great stay for all of us.

Booked the Newhard’s for an 80th birthday celebration. The location was perfectly located for fly fishing, rafting, and of course the Maroon Bells. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax. Great hot tub and an amazing supply of spices - unheard of in rentals! Will be back again!

Great place and great location!
Perfect place for our large group of friends skiing at Aspen for the week. Right next to the bus stop to Snowmass and the other mountains, plenty of room in the house and very clean/well stocked! There were a few issues with the hot tub when we arrived but Persie was very responsive and got someone out to repair it same day. All in all a great experience, would recommend!
