Befindlich in Bass Lake, dieses charmant eigentumswohnung für 199 € pro Nacht ist ein großartig Option für Ihr nächstes Reise. Neu renoviert, ist dieses Hotel von Wäldern umgeben, so dass es eine perfekte Pause in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Das Seeufer ist eine intime Bucht, mit keinem sichtbaren Nachbarn auf beiden Seiten. Es ist wirklich ein abgelegener Zufluchtsort. Die angebotenen Unterkünfte sind der Untergeschoss-Untergeschoss unseres Hauses, mit viel Licht, zwei Terrassentüren und schöner Aussicht. Während wir, die Besitzer, oben bleiben werden, gibt es einen separaten Eingang für Gäste und wir möchten, dass Sie so viel Privatsphäre haben, wie Sie es wünschen.
Dieser Kurzurlaub liegt ideal nur 12 Minuten von der Innenstadt von Traverse City und 12 Minuten vom weltberühmten Interlochen Center for the Arts entfernt. Einer unserer Lieblings-Tagesausflüge ist eine 30-minütige Fahrt zum Sleeping Bear Dünen zum Wandern und Lagerfeuer am Strand.
In der Miete ist die Nutzung unserer 4 Kajaks (eine ist ein Doppel) und unsere 5-Sitzer Ponton Paddel Boot, das perfekt für eine Kreuzfahrt rund um den See, um die Inseln, Wildtiere oder Sonnenuntergänge zu beobachten ist. Wir haben Adler, Biber, Stachelschwein, Puten und mehr gesehen! Die öffentliche Bootsanlegestelle ist nur 1/8 einer Meile entfernt für bequemen Gebrauch. Wir hatten unglaubliches Glück mit Bass-Angeln direkt von unserem Dock.

We stayed at Matt and Katie’s place for two nights. We loved the location close to Traverse City, Ole Mission and sleeping bear dunes. The large pond and kayaks were a bonus feature that we really enjoyed. The space was comfortable, cozy and felt like home! Thanks Matt and Katie!

Location Location Location
This is a really nice property run by great hosts Matt and Katie. The location was perfect for me to get to all of the things I needed to do while in town. The bonus is all of the recreation available just outside the door. The guest space was also impeccably clean and beutifully furnished.

Matt and Katie were wonderful hosts and very accomodating. The property was exactly as described. It felt very private with a beautiful view of the lake from the windows to wake up to each morning. We very much enjoyed staying at a lakefront property nestled in the woods, but also appreciated how well it was located for us. Downtown Traverse City was a quick, easy drive that took us about 15 minutes and it was even simpler of less than 10 minutes for us to get to Interlochen Arts Center. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located for visiting Interlochen Academy & Downtown Traverse City
Matt and Katie were wonderful hosts and very accomodating. The property was exactly as described. It felt very private with a beautiful view of the lake from the windows to wake up to each morning. Great location on Bass Lake!!
The location and general area of the property cannot be beat! We stayed for a few days and rented a boat from Traverse City to fish. The dock worked great and the public boat launch was so close we could easily walk there when the boat was delivered. The "apartment" was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. The owners were very responsive when we had questions and easy to reach. The apartment is a converted basement, so you can hear footsteps and people above you, but it was very minimal. The lake is a short, pretty walk down to the water but you are not "right on the water" per se. The firepit is off of the main house in the back and looks nice, although we did not use it on our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend for a quick visit to Traverse City!

Ideal location on the lake!
This was a lovely little property. The host was gracious and helpful. We arrived to a spotlessly clean apartment in the basement of the main home. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and the kitchenette was sufficient for our needs. I would not plan any large meals as the kitchen space is small and there is no stove/oven. A hotplate and microwave were fine for our needs as we ate most of our meals out. There is a lovely path to the dock/lake and kayaks and a pedal/pontoon boat that were really perfect for exploring the lake and getting in our morning exercise. The home is ideally located between Interlochen and Traverse City and great for small groups (less than 5). Highly recommend this well located and comfortable rental.

Cozy, comfortable wonderful stay!
We stayed here with our three teenage daughters during the National Cherry Festival and loved it. Katie and Matt were responsive, helpful and provided many amenities and nice touches. They also helped solve issues that came up. The game selection was awesome-we even taught our kids tiddly winks; the paddle boat provided a nice way to see the lake and play with the entire family out in the lake; we loved early morning kayaking as well - even saw a deer as we walked in the path. It was close to town, but still far enough away. Katie, Matt and their children were very respectful and we didn't even know they were there! Highly recommend staying here.

Great little cozy place right by the lake
Overall we had a great experience. Matt and Katie were super helpful and welcoming. They did a great job at creating a nice little comfortable space in the downstairs of their home. It has its own little walking path about 50 yards from the lake. We had a blast using some of their kayaks and paddle boat. Everything went really well.
Only recommendation I have would be to have a few more pots and pans

Comfortable, relaxing place to unwind & enjoy nature!
My parents and I spent the past several days at this charming lake view property in Northern Michigan. It was very comfortable and cozy, with a beautiful view of the lake. It was off the beaten path enough that you could truly unplug, yet close enough to civilization you didn't feel completely off the grid unless you wanted to. Traverse City attractions were close, and we had a wonderful time at their farmer's market. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park was under an hour away, and well worth the day trip to see stunning views of Lake Michigan. Dining options in the nearby townships were plentiful, delicious, and a quick (as in under 10 min) drive. We spent some time at the Interlochen Arts Summer Camp with our son, and it was a very quick commute to the ICA campus. It amazed me how someplace that felt like it was out in the country was so conveniently located to so many different things.
The apartment itself was clean and quaint, with some fantastic architectural elements that offered it personality and charm. The kitchen isn't a full setup, but worked really well for our needs. Matt and Katie were terrific hosts and able to accommodate some last minute and unforeseen changes to our plans. Definitely recommend and would love to come back!!

Wonderful vacation spot
Very nice property. Very clean, lots of privacy. We enjoyed our visit to Traverse city. Including a kayak, biking and brew tour, climbing sleeping bear dunes enjoying the beautiful cherry trees, vineyards, lakes. Such a beautiful area. Our adult children enjoyed the paddle boat, sunsets and kayaking on the Lake. Highly recommend this cottage.

Peaceful quiet property on beautiful Bass Lake
We really had a wonderful stay at this property on Bass Lake. Super nice owners, a very comfortable and neatly decorated and furnished apartment, and on a beautifuly scenic and quiet corner of Bass Lake made our stay everything we had hoped for.

Great place for a young family
We took our 3 kids here for Memorial Day weekend. It was well equipped, well kept, and the hosts were very accommodating. They changed the beds around for us, got life jackets for the kids, and allowed us free use of kayaks and a pedal boat. The kids (and adults!) had a blast catching little fish off the dock, and the lake is quiet enough to let the kids take out a kayak on their own (closely watched, of course!) It is convenient to Traverse City for meals and other entertainment, but they have so many games and videos that you never have to leave! We would stay here again in the futre.
