Neu renoviert, Cottage-Feeling mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten. Perfekt für ein Paar oder eine kleine Familie. Haustierfreundlich. Ein Schlafzimmer (zusätzliches EZ-Bett verfügbar), Vollbad, Küche und Essbereich, Wohnzimmer, Holzofen, Terrasse, 10x12 Deck, Feuerstelle. WIFI, TV Streaming Hulu, Luft, Umkehrosmose Leitungswasser. 650 Quadratfuß. Zugang zum See 3/10 Meile, gemeinsamer Zugang mit Bootsanlegeplatz zur Verfügung. Aufgrund der Schwimmer ist Juckreizschwimmen ein sicherer Abfall, aber langes Waten im flachen Wasser ist riskant. Ich schwimme seit 11 Jahren in Duck Lake und hatte noch nie Schwimmer, die jucken, solange Sie vorsichtig sind und das Risiko sehr gering ist. Es gibt Bereiche des Sees, in denen Sie ohne Bedenken waten und Fizbee spielen können, aber Sie müssen dort Boot fahren, daher ist ein Boot oder Kajak eine großartige Möglichkeit, diesen See zu genießen. Interlochen State Park und Interlochen Arts Academy 1. 5 Meilen nördlich. Der State Park hat einen schönen Strandbereich und die Arts Academy beherbergt viele prominente Konzerte und Performances in verschiedenen Kunstformen. Nur einen Katzensprung von Traverse City, MI, entfernt, Austragungsort des National Cherry Festival und des Traverse City Film Festival. Leelanau und Old Mission Peninsula mit über 20 Weinbergen. Viele Seen, Flüsse und Strände im Umkreis von 20 Minuten. Lake Michigan und Sleeping Bear Dunes 30 Minuten. Viele Möglichkeiten für Golfresorts: Grand Traverse Resort, Arcadia Bluffs, Crystal Mountain und viele andere kleinere Golfplätze.

Host was so very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this property to family and friends with no hesitation. The snow was beautiful, and the property was warm and inviting. Cute cabin all the way around.

Came to Michigan to visit family but still wanted our own space, this was the perfect little home. Comfy, warm, and perfect for just me and my husband. They had everything we needed to enjoy our 5 days there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable and cute getaway. Has a fireplace that was very nice. Bed was comfy. 10 out of 10. Property owners were very responsive to any inquiries I had rapid response time. When I visit again I will be staying in the same place. It is right by the lake walking distance. You feel nestled away in the woods. Loved it.

I got an idea to spend Thanksgiving weekend in Michigan at a little cabin. I am not a woodsy outdoor person at all but my husband is pretty well versed at building fires and land navigation: we had a lovely wood stove and we thoroughly enjoyed the fire we built. The cabin in in a quiet little neighborhood. Too cold for fire pit this time of year but really a fun time nonetheless. Good location and easy drive to Traverse City and lots of attractions. Property manager very kind and friendly. I have a large well behaved dog. Thank goodness for people who don’t breed judge or size judge. My dog had the best time. Overall a great deal and a wonderful experience.

The cabin is adorable, very cozy, and comfortable for a couple. We loved the wood stove on a chilly evening, taking walks to the lake, and the location was super convenient for our mountain bike race. Thanks again!

Host very quickly and efficiently responded to question I had about how to use wood stove. Very comfortable and cozy place to stay. Loved being able to bring my dog with me and I would stay here again!

The house was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. Everything was tidy and ready for us when we arrived. There were clear instructions emailed to us and also at the house. The owner made a good effort to keep things easy for us. The bed was comfortable as were the living room furniture.
The house is located very close to Interlochen Arts Academy, which made our drive to a concert there incredibly easy (we probably could have walked). Its also reasonably close to Traverse City (30 min.?)
We hope to stay at the house again should we travel down to the Interlochen area.

I was very happy with Nancy's place. Very clean, 2 large windows with back one tall and angled shaped with view of fall tree colors.
Nancy is a very good host/owner.
She helped find a lost pkg which had accidentally been thrown away. She found and will be mailing to us.
I felt that shows her kindness to her guests. The $ per day we found to be very guest welcoming. Very reasonable compared to the majority. Pet friendly which we so appreciated.

My husband and I stayed here in September. It was beautiful. We didn’t get to take advantage of the lake, but it was perfect for the two of us. That couch on the porch I could easily fall asleep on, and almost did. Hoping to book in the future.

We had a great time here, it was a great stay. We loved the fire pit and the lake access. Only thing was the bed was too firm for us but that is of course personal preference. I would recommend staying here!

This property is very special! The host is responsive and helpful! The location is somewhat remote and yet amenities are close by. Just what my wife and I needed after many long months of being very busy! Weather prevented us from fully enjoying everything that is offered here but nonetheless we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this place for any couples in search of relief from life’s stress.

Perfect little cottage with all the amenities you need. Lake access with kayaks is a major plus. Close enough to all the attractions, but far enough away from the tourist chaos. Loved it so much. Can’t wait to go back someday!

My sister and I went there for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time! Nancy is a great communicator and sent us all we needed to check-in and get the lay of the land. The place is like a storybook cottage in the woods. I could live there it was so charming. We loved it so much that we added one more night to the trip. The added amenities of having starbucks coffee, nice mugs, and a well stocked kitchen made it even better. We were very busy enjoying Interlochen and Traverse City, so didn't get to use the outdoors or the lake nearby, but it was all there, ready as detailed in the listing. Nancy also gave us great recommendations for a nearby beach and places to eat, which was helpful too!

My husband and I attended a wedding in Traverse City and decided to make it a whole weekend to celebrate our anniversary as well. This cottage was perfect. Clean, comfortable, cozy and quiet. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Located close enough to a grocery store and some restaurants for a quick bite. Not a bad drive from Traverse City.
We were delayed in leaving to get out there due to a slight emergency with our son. Nancy was very accomodating to our shifting schedule for our arrival. Check in ans check out procedures were easy and clearly outlined.
We are already talking about when we can book our next stay. We loved it, just wish we were able to stay longer!

This is my third stay. The cozy cottage provided a very peaceful get away. I enjoyed the use of the kayaks and taking long walks with my dog. Nancy is a great host!

My wife and I came up to Interlochen with the dogs to hike Sleeping Bear Park and venture around Traverse City. Interlochen is a perfect 20 minutes from the city and less than an hour to the park and dunes. We needed a few days away from real life, and this cabin was the perfect spot for it. We will be back someday.

This cabin is a little gem tucked in the woods. The outdoor seating areas are great. I watched the squirrels run around the yard. Inside the cabin felt comfortable and homey. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed even a wine opener. Nancy was an amazing host. I can't wait to stay there again.

Such a peaceful setting for a week getaway from the stresses of work and every day life in general. Very good grocery store nearby, and many good restaurants to choose from. Easy drive to both Traverse City and Lake Michigan and the dunes. The host was very responsive and easy to reach. Comfortable bed and nice and clean. And star gazing at night was spectacular.
