I Cant Express how much We loved this place, great owner, great house, we stayed 6 days with our 2 German Shepherds, the place was perfect for us , cant wait to go back , this will definitely be our go to each an every time we come down ! The owner JB was awesome ,we thank her for letting us enjoy our vacation in her beautiful place

We love the place. Very spacious for its size. It fit my family of 6 comfortably. We loved it will definitely return.

Everything was good.

The inside of the house was nice and clean! The area, although not what we expected, was very quiet. We were celebrating our 60 th wedding anniversary, so we thoroughly enjoyed our quiet, peaceful, relaxing time! Pictures of the property do not show the location of the house properly!

We enjoyed our stay there very much...it was accurately represented online...my only complaint, and it is minor, is that there was only 1/2 a roll of paper towels and 1 & 1/2 rolls of toilet paper...for the amount of money we spent the house should have been stocked a bit more before we arrived. I left 2 full rolls of paper towels and 3 full rolls of toilet paper there. Other than that it was lovely!

I booked last minute, Thursday for a Friday arrival with my husband and Teo dogs. I had some questions so I message the owner thru VRBO but didn’t receive a message back in time to answer the questions. Regardless, we booked. The automatic owner communication regarding, location, rental rules, door code, was seamless. The location couldn’t have been better. We were in walking distance to everything downtown. The neighbor is a quiet peaceful neighborhood that I found perfect for walking my dogs.

Great stay for our weekend at the beach. Good location and very nice place.

The property is in a good location but need some attention. It had not been cleaned very well and we found a hamburger in the microwave. The toilet had to be plunged after every use and the front door didn't lock.

Thanks for letting us rent the place out for the week end. Place looks nice but does have its small repair details. Like the toilet would flush slowly. 2-3 flush to go down. Other than that The place worked out pretty good. Thanks again would love to come back again soon. Elfego

Great relaxing place

Charming place close to everything you need. The house (bottom level) was clean and comfy and location is perfect and it is pet friendly. The second level is a separate rental and would be perfect for a large family that may need separation during your trip. The nice owner was onsite upon my arrival & a pleasure to meet. Only problem I had was wish i could have stayed a few more days.

We go to Port A every summer and usually stay at the same place. Booked to late this year so we ended up staying at this place. Overall the house was clean and cozy. The only downside is you can hear everything from from the footsteps to people talking that were staying upstairs. Other than that the place was great and close to everything.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Port Aransas. The house was in a great location, close to just about everything. Sara was very nice and always responded quickly with any questions we had.

This place was so clean and cozy! We would definitely stay here again in the near future. There was everything we needed for our weekend. It was perfect! Thank you!

My husband and I (and our dogs) were super happy with our stay. Islantime Down was clean, cute, a great location and the perfect place to lay our heads at night. We’ll definitely stay again!

However, there were several issues with the cabin. The door knob to the back door was falling off. I tightened the screws and fixed it. The door knob the the bedroom was missing a screw and also falling off. I tightened the one screw and made the door knob somewhat operational. The toilet was not secured properly and wobbled horrendously whenever you would sit in it. The door to the driveway was crooked and had a half inch gap to the outside. One of the futons has a wobbly leg and felt as if it would collapse at any moment. Also, the WiFi did not work and after emailing the owner received no response. Like I said, the location was great. Very close to the beach and to several good restaurants. If it weren’t for the aforementioned issues the house would be perfect.

This was our first time to stay in town, we are normally down on the beach. This was the perfect location. It is a quiet spot and the green space behind made for great birdwatching from the deck.
